FYI, you can plug any URL into the top red box on the following site, and read (most) paywalled articles for free. http://archive.today/ (I don't tell too many people about it because I don't want it to disappear by becoming too popular) 😉

Anyone else recording, but not watching it? I just want to have it to watch in case *something* exciting happens. 😉

This app has trending news, and also shows how evenly each news story is being reported. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.checkitt PS just ignore them asking you to sign up for premium.. you can read plenty on just the free version.

They figured out it was a teacher who made the post (under a disguised identity) https://www.threads.net/@tizzyent/post/DFigI2luGoc?xmt=AQGz5Pbl--WdYj_Gaaki0NrXzDMcDW8v_A3HV65QBtEXuSB6cA

OMGosh! I can't hit the mute button fast enough when Kody starts to whine. 🤮

Interesting article. This was the end of it. "From losing his son a few years ago, to the dissolution of his marriages to Janelle, Christine and Meri, to the painful disconnect with his children, to his current financial ruin and, lastly, rumors that the network may be losing interest in the show, Kody has lost everything he once held dear. If TLC doesn't hold out hope for Kody's redemption, he may be forced to find a new trade or additional ways to earn a living. With three of his four wives gone, it's quite possible that his final "honey" will leave with the last of the money." 😁

FYI, here's a site you can plug your (or your family's) address into to see how close you/they are to any storm. https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/61aa14758c8b42bfa3a5607d3f3b071c/ PS only works on mobile devices. This picture is where my son and his family's house is...too close for comfort. 😠

I was already thinking I'd find me a big old stick. But maybe there weren't the kind of trees around that would have sturdy falling branches you could use? (Or maybe it's just not allowed?) 🤔

If anyone is interested in the new show THE SUMMIT, which has beautiful scenery and a race up a mountain for a million dollars, here is the new forum for it: https://forums.primetimer.com/forum/8925-the-summit/# Only the first episode has aired so far, and it's something to watch while we wait for the new season of TAR.

Agreed, but I think I read that they just applied to be on a reality show, and the whole 'climb a mountain' was sprung on them as a surprise. (I would have noped my fluffy self out of there SO fast!)

@tv echo thanks for that article. This part made me laugh: "Bennett didn’t have any concerns while working on The Summit, joking, “Inherently the American productions have much more safety and much more in place than what we do in little old New Zealand where if you fall, you just hope you land on a sheep.”

The first episode was good, my husband and I really enjoyed it. (someone already requested a forum for it.)

Just FYI,you might want to get any Christmas/Hannukah/Birthday gifts for your kids/grandkids now, because a dock-workers strike is due to start tonight at midnight. This might be the biggest strike since 1977, and a lot of things will be out of stock fast (especially toys.) Also stuff your teenagers/young adults might be hoping for might be in very short supply, if the strike really takes place, and lasts any amount of time. Maybe stock up on toidy paper too 😂

My husband and I are watching the new show called The Summit, on CBS (and Paramount +) I think some of you might like it. I know I needed a new reality show. It's like Survivor on steroids, and The Amazing Race x100 😂 (And the scenery in New Zealand is spectacular) "Sixteen strangers embark on a 14-day trek through the perilous New Zealand Alps to reach a distant peak. Each holds part of a $1 million prize, but only those who survive the harsh terrain, Antarctic winds, and intense challenges will win. They face eliminations and twists from the "Mountain's Keeper," testing their morale and unity. Their greatest challenge is to stay together and reach the summit on time—failure means losing the entire prize." https://www.cbs.com/shows/the-summit/ PS btw, someone already requested a forum for it, but it hasn't been created yet
