To be fair, I had that rule in my house when my girls were teens. When they were younger, their clothes did need to be washed daily because they played outside in dirt, but as teens they were neater - HOWEVER, they would often toss each day's clothes in the basket regardless. Sorry, NO, it is possible to wear an outfit more than once before washing. (I didn't force them to wear the same thing to school on consecutive days, but I also didn't allow them to wash for no reason). If that was Jessa's rule, it's not all that outrageous. Who am I kidding. I'm sure it was all about control and making life easier for Meech.

Well, here's MY theory: one of the OLDER M's decided to run away from home, and Jana happily packed his/her bags. Police were called after someone saw a pre-teen trudging down the road with a suitcase, and Jana realized she had to come up with a different story.....

I woke up at 5:30 today, without an alarm, cuz TODAY'S THE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!! (ok, maybe it's menopause, but still..... )

And possibly the girls as well, since people may fear they have been.... tainted..... by their father. (I'm not speculating about that, I'm saying that others might speculate. I mean, this is a culture in which adoption is discouraged due to possible "sins of the father" or some such nonsense).

Not that I'm defending Anna or anything - because I really can't stand her - but her grip on Josh is much like my grip on my husband when we go to a funeral. Funerals are extremely stressful to me, to the point where I am often shaking & hyperventilating, and hanging on for dear life helps me redirect. I imagine she is under incredible stress right now - even if she believes 100% in his innocence - because of the publicity/shame/effect on her children. Perhaps she is just trying to.... not faint. Nah. She's a pompous ass.

I love how she put her majors in quotes.... subconsciously acknowledging their illegitimacy?

This is what I suspected all along. 1) It's incredibly unlikely that anyone would (repeatedly!) sleep through having their boob touched (*cough cough* forty years of marriage here) 2) Equally unlikely is that a young teen would voluntarily confess wrongdoing (ESPECIALLY a conceited golden child). I mean, come ON, we were all kids once. Even ADULTS struggle to confess. The MUCH more likely scenario is that he confessed AFTER HE GOT CAUGHT. And.... got caught MORE THAN ONCE, since there were few consequences the first time. In retrospect, it is just mind-boggling that those girls were forced to do that Megyn Kelly interview on national tv. To lie about something SO hurtful - to be FORCED to lie - all the while knowing that the whole point was to protect the perpetrator. These parents are absolutely disgusting. I hope they rot in whatever afterlife they believe in. As obnoxious as I find their daughters, I do genuinely pity them for this experience. And I hope JB continues to try to control the trial narrative so that he is taken DOWN. I've used the word schadenfeude more this week than in my entire life to date!

It's also possible that they want to "prove" that librul edumacation is unnecessary because Look How Successful We Are Without College. And college is just a plot to separate you from your money, and JB is so wise to have figured that out. If he allows his kids to get educated, that would disprove this point - so, no school! (While it's true that college education is not for everyone, and it's possible to be successful without a degree, his kids should at least have the option).

I noticed that the dresser did not seem flush with the wall, and on closer inspection, there appears to be a room divider behind the dresser. Wonder what it's hiding.....

Which, to me, makes Anna even more unlikeable. If she knew "something", and STILL chose to marry him, I truly question her motives. Well.... if ya lie down with dogs, ya get up with fleas.

For the record.... *I* had a severe reaction to the vaccine. So, it really does happen! Consequently, I did not get the second. That fever/headache/fatigue/bodyache/hit-by-a-truck feeling that's supposed to last a day or 2? Lasted full-blast for 4 WEEKS for me, then tapered off over the next 4 weeks. Over $5000 of medical bills from this - because I was emphatically told by everyone that it couldn't possibly be due to the vaccine, so a whole lotta testing was done. (we have a $5000 deductible, then after that 20% of in-network costs). However, every test-able ailment was ruled out. The only blood test that came back as abnormal was sky-high inflammation - which eventually diminished in conjunction with the symptoms. But besides the prolonged incapacitation (sleeping 20 hours a day, as even a walk to the mailbox exhausted me), the most alarming problem was that the inflammation in turn caused acute glaucoma (which is not only incredibly painful, it can lead to permanent blindness). I mention all this because the situation is incredibly frustrating to me. On the one hand, I have acquaintances who hold me up as "see???? this vaccine is DANGEROUS!!!" and on the other hand acquaintances who dismiss me with an eye-roll because "everyone knows there are no side effects." But I just want to say, there really truly are side effects. And I'm not crazy! (except for my duggar fixation). I'm legit! And I'm also about to lose my job over this, because before too long it will be required that all teachers at my school be fully vaccinated - and I'm struggling to get someone to write a medical exemption letter on my behalf, because my primary quit the practice (and when I last saw him, he said "weeelllll, this inflammation marker is non-specific, so there's no way to know for sure if it came from the vaccine...") Sorry about whining. I just always feel like I have to defend myself (totally illogical, I know!) when I hear a crazy anti-vaxxer story!!

That pig-face immediately brought to mind an episode of The Twilight Zone, the one where the medical personnel (whose backs are to the camera until the end) are performing plastic surgery on a woman's face to make her look "normal" and it turns out that "normal" is a pig-face. Aficionados will know exactly which episode I mean!
