  1. I wonder if whatever therapist Catelynn saw/sees informed her of the first rule of dealing with anxiety and depression: Keeping moving, even if you don't feel like it. Open the blinds, get dressed, try to go do something. Anything (except smoking meth or pot). Join a class with her daughter, or get a part time job. Anything that gives her a reason to get dressed and go somewhere. It is completely unhealthy that she's sitting her ass on the couch while cameras just film her all day. Sitting around just makes her more anxious and depressed, especially when she's sitting there with a camera crew going over and over how depressed and unhappy she is.
  2. How old is Ryan that his parents are already terrified that he'll end up old and alone???? Isn't he only like 25 or something? Just because Maci is breeding like crazy doesn't mean Ryan is behind a normal person his age.
  3. Dr. Drew needs to have a sit down with all the Teen Moms and Dads and Dustin Diamond and Jon Gosselin, so that the latter can explain to the former where they are headed with no education, real jobs, or attempts to save their money. Why are Tyler and Catelynn buying another house?? Why do so few of these people seem to work at anything? What happened to last season when Tyler's mom was attempting to explain to him that his MTV "job" has an end date and he needs to be prepared? Season after season, they sit on couches, find guys, and make more babies. And that's about it. I laugh the hardest at the idea that these girls are going to make social media their career. They're not famous or charismatic enough to pull that off.
  4. There probably IS a market for it, but just like with the weird water thing, the competition is impossible for a little guy business. Like they have said 5 zillion times on the show Shark Tank, there are some businesses that are totally dominated by large companies and impossible to break into. Water and popcorn are two examples. I like Chris Laurita, but he needs to start being realistic. No one is going to buy popcorn or water just because someone in the Real Housewives franchise is selling it. And that's really the only draw. Chris needs to get a realistic job that will support his family. Jacqueline could be working too, since I think even little Nicholas is going to school now? Teresa cookbooks sold because of her fame. I don't recall huge sales numbers for her pasta line (if I'm wrong, someone correct me). And I think most of her bills are paid by appearances and stories sold to tabloids. And books she didn't really write herself. All these people need a shot of realism.
  5. Teresa wants the photographers to leave her alone, but she also invited them in her home within 24 hours of leaving prison. And she forced her young daughters to pose for pictures for said photographers so she can pay for her brand new SUV and gaudy house. But after that, she wants privacy. Sort of. Mother of the Year. And yes, Jacqueline is also an asshole. But that doesn't actually make Teresa LESS of an asshole. It just means they deserve each other.
  6. If Teresa has more important things to worry about, you can't tell it from watching this show. She appears to have all the time and money in the world. If her life is so chaotic and dramatic, why does she have so much time for manicures, parties, and lunches with the girls?? If Teresa was interested in a real friendship again with Jacqueline, there would be regular texting and interacting. But there's not. That's what I think Ashley is pointing out. And she's right. And everyone can see that except desperate, attention-starved Jacqueline.
  7. During the photo shoot at home, Theresa kept insisting that she HAS to exploit her kids for money because they have no other way to survive financially. Meanwhile, a brand new SUV sits in the driveway and they're still living in the massive house. Gia could have been high. I was more focused on how inappropriate her outfit was for a 14 year old girl, and how much makeup they let her put on. And it looked like they hired a car to drive her back and forth from what I could see. While whining about how money is an issue so they need to exploit their situation to the media to make money. Oh, and what the hell kind of house arrest is it when Theresa gets to go to the spa???? I want that kind of punishment.
  8. All these women give Theresa far too much of their time, energy, and emotion, but Jacqueline is just pathetic. She's like the wannabe girl in middle school who desperately wants the popular girl to like her. That whole thing with the phone call, even though I'm pretty sure Bravo insisted on it, was just sad. Why even answer the phone on New Year's Eve for someone who has shown so little regard for you or your problems?? Joe Gorga's parents barely even look at him. He and Melissa are extra help while Theresa is unavailable, and that's about it. I don't remember them even hugging him. I would feel bad for him if he wasn't pulling the caveman routine because Melissa is sort of working at an obviously part-time hobby of opening a boutique. Gia is a DUI waiting to happen. Joe is going to jail, and Theresa just wants to be her friend. There will be no one to reign her in.
  9. Do we ever see Logan and Kody interact much? I was trying to think back to the older episodes, and I don't recall Logan spending a lot of time with Kody. Not in the same way Kody seems to enjoy spending time with Hunter and Garrison. Is Logan less athletic? I don't remember if he ever played a sport or not. Logan and Aspyn and Mariah all stayed in college, and Maddie and Mykelti both dropped out and almost immediately went the young marriage route. I felt bad for Christine. Mykelti has only known this guy 5 months. Its not a good sign.
  10. Janelle is not that smart if she couldn't figure out that the real take-away from the rock sculpture exercise is that Kody doesn't give a shit how Christine feels or what Christine wants. Kody has no respect for Christine, who was the primary hands-on mother for most of his kids. Janelle should pay attention to that, because Kody feels the same way about her. At the very least, Janelle should have respect for Christine herself, since it sounds like Christine took care of her 6 kids while she was working all day. All 4 women hate each other. They really do. And I think their kids see it, and that's why they have no desire to live polygamy themselves.
  11. I would have gotten the baby checked out at the hospital, no matter what the midwife said. I briefly Googled, and that baby should have had an x-ray or MRI to make sure there wasn't more damage. These people are idiots.
  12. I was fascinated when Kody talked about being emotionally disconnected from Robyn. That means Robyn isn't special, and the real problem is that Kody can't maintain an emotional connection to any woman long term. So Janelle had a baby before Meri. I bet Meri made her pay for that. On the flip side, I felt bad for Meri when they were talking about how many times Christine and Janelle were pregnant together. Robyn's parents look like Amish people. It looked like TLC borrowed some Amish from their other show to liven up this one. It didn't work. On her 5th kid, I'm surprised the baby didn't fall out of her and hit the floor.
  13. If I remember correctly, Dawn was a teen mom herself. While Leah's current stepfather seems nice and stable, we don't know what Leah was put through during her early years. I'm sure there was crap. If nothing else, we've seen Dawn be passive aggressive and blame everyone else for Leah's bad choices. Maybe Leah meant taking responsibility and not being a psycho. At least she was acknowledging that she hasn't always handled things in the best way. Speaking of Leah, it would be nice if Leah, Miranda, or Corey would go get the damn wheelchair and get a van to transport it in. That would solve the backpack-holding dilemma. Three adults can't keep track of one wheelchair.
  14. I'm sure Janelle had a crap childhood. I doubt Barb was a very good mother. We can tell who taught Janelle screaming and swearing as a primary means of communication. But I doubt that Janelle's childhood comes close to the horror that was probably Kailyn's childhood. Janelle wasn't abandoned by her mother while pregnant at 16. Barb was not, at least that we know of, addicted to drugs or alcohol. And Kailyn is managing to parent. She has her dysfunctional issues, for sure, but she's taking care of her kids. Even Leah manages to show up on a regular basis for her girls, and I'm pretty sure she was molested as a kid, and is probably still using pain medication. And she makes it there. Not on time, but her daughters see that she at least cares about them and wants them around. What bugs me most about Janelle is that she doesn't even really try. Her kids are an afterthought unless she needs to use them to get out of an assault charge.
  15. I think these women see each other during filming, and not that often otherwise. The little kids (Solomon and Truely) probably do play together on a regular basis, but I doubt these women are seeing each other in a group setting every week. Christine has said in the past that she goes close to a week without her or her kids seeing Kody. I think that's part of why Meri had no idea about Solomon's separation anxiety. They don't really see each other all that much. The family dinners and vacations we see are for the show, and paid for by the show. Anyone else notice that all the older girls seem to be rather sloppy looking? No makeup and very casual clothing. Maddie looked like she was going to a garage sale when she was looking at wedding venues, and Mariah looked like she just got out of bed when she was walking with Meri. Mykelti seems to make an effort, but that's it.
  16. Holy crap, Meri is such a martyr! This episode made me re-think blaming Robyn for the legal marriage change. I really wonder if the divorce was Meri's idea, so she would have something else to be emotional over. Even the whole "empty nest" thing is a little over-blown, when it seems Kody volunteered for years to do fertility treatments, and Meri turned him down. And the whole Solomon thing was so unfair. He's 4, and I wouldn't be allowing her to take him for days either. Especially when Meri only wanted him along to distract Mariah from being pissed off at her. The Browns don't have a single child who wants to follow their way of life. That says a lot about polygamy. And a lot about the truth of the Brown's marriage and what their children have witnessed. And Meri, you didn't "make a friend". You were having an online affair. If you would own that, perhaps your daughter would want to talk to you. Given that she has recently abandoned her polygamist aspirations herself, she might be willing to listen if you would come clean.
  17. This show is so weird. Meri tried to escape her marriage, and would have left if it wasn't a catfish. Janelle DID apparently escape her marriage a while back for about 3 years. None of the kids, except maybe Mariah, have any interest in polygamy. the Browns cling to polygamy, even though they are clearly not religious people. So let's make napkin rings and talk about the "Sister Wife Code"! Christine is excessively cheerful, Robyn just looks tired, Janelle is completely checked out, and I wouldn't be surprised if Meri is still online dating. But at least there are lights in the cul-de-sac! And a new baby and a wedding at the same time!! And no mention of the Sister Wives Closet business, why Aspyn can't stand to live with her own mother, or what Meri's real relationship is with Kody right now.
  18. So Meri has a huge empty house with multiple empty bedrooms. Janelle is shortly going to be down to only 3 kids in the home, and Christine will be down to 3 or 4 kids in the home. Yet no one offers to house Robyn's oldest children, and leave her to have her youngest two share a bedroom, which they then call stupid. And she ends up with Aspyn in her house to boot. That speaks volumes about what kind of sister wife marriage these women are really having. They're 4 women sharing a lover/sperm donor. Mariah needs to suck it up. The real crime is that your mother has been miserable for years and not done anything about it. Your father romanced multiple women, so I don't consider Meri's catfish cheating scandal all that bad.
  19. Slut-shaming or not, Dr. Phil is correct about this one. Bringing an unrelated guy into your house and leaving him unattended with your kids puts the risk of sexual abuse through the roof. Especially some guy she didn't know but loved at first sight 2 weeks ago. And its not the same for single dads, because women have a much lower rate of molesting young children. The real truth is this woman put her desperate need for companionship above her kids' safety. Even sitting up there with all the evidence that her baby daddy is creepy, she felt the need to point out that he didn't molest HER kids. As if she even knows for sure. I doubt her dumb ass was even paying enough attention to notice. All the kids in this situation should be put up for adoption. None of these people are fit guardians.
  20. Christine said they are all working the same hours now. Working at what?? They seem to have nothing but time. And as annoying as Robyn is, I would rather live with her than Meri. I can see Aspyn not wanting to get drawn into Meri's drama. And I think Aspyn avoids living with Christine because Aspyn was the co-parent in that house for her whole life. Kody just visits. Aspyn was the person who was really helping Christine raise the other kids. She's probably sick of it, and at least at Robyn's, there is another person helping. And Robyn seems more organized than Christine, and may need less help keeping things moving.
  21. During that whole therapy session, no one brought up the fact that the real issue is that Meri was going to leave. If that catfish had been a real guy who was who he said he was, Meri would be gone. She was planning to leave the family. Her real grief is that her online love didn't work out. And nobody brought that up. They spent so much time on how evil the catfish was, and no time on why Meri desperately wanted out of her marriage. I also thought Meri was still manipulating and distracting to keep anyone from asking a truly hard question. And I noticed no one brought up the role of the divorce, especially Robyn. I would have thought Janelle would be more worried about Maddie's complete lack of an education as well. It looks like they all drank the same Kool-Aid.
  22. While they are certainly headed in a better direction than poor Jace, I wouldn't say that Lincoln, Isaac, and Aubree are out of the woods. Aubree has a mother who seems very focused on her looks and what she wears, and has very little backbone. Aubree is also headed for serious daddy issues. I'm thinking Aubree will end up with a teen pregnancy of her own at 16. Isaac has watched his parents fight off and on, and now he's watching his mother and stepfather fight. And while she's a better mother than some of the others, Kailyn is still wacked in the head. She and Javi won't last, and Isaac will be headed for stepdaddy number 2 in no time. Same for Lincoln. The only kid likely headed for jail and drugs is Jace though. I feel so bad for him. He never really stood a chance.
  23. Kailyn must love watching this show. Next to Jenelle and Leah, she looks like Mother of the Year. And Joe just keeps chubbin' out. If Jenelle wasn't so eager to stick it to Nathan and his new girlfriend, Kaiser would already be living with Barb. And Kaiser looked unkept and even dirty in every single scene. Not to mention, when he was crying, did she just skip feeding him the hot dogs and put him in the crib? I second what everyone says about Leah still being on some kind of drug, prescription or otherwise. I get that she has three kids, one with special needs, but she doesn't work and has weekends mostly off. No way should she be looking that bad in the middle of the day. She also seems emotionally detached from Gracie, while having tons of affection for the other two. But she's still a better mother than Jenelle. When she first had the twins as newborns, she actually seemed like a relatively decent mother. I really think its the drugs.
  24. I was all ready to hate on Leah, and then I saw the scene in the doctor's office. I can't quite bring myself to bash someone who was just told she should apply to Make A Wish because her daughter's life is about to peak at age 7 and then head steadily downhill. I felt really bad for her and Corey. They're morons, both of them, but that's just awful. I really do think Leah loves her kids. She's just really messed up. Her family needs to start helping her and stop excusing and blaming everything on Corey. I do give them props for being able to attend doctor appointments and be polite to each other in front of the doctor. There are a lot of exes, including those on this show, who wouldn't be able to pull out that level of maturity. Miranda looked awkward the whole episode. Maybe she's embarrassed that everyone now knows her husband banged his ex.
  25. Gee, Josh leaves rehab just in time to build more publicity for the Duggars in time for the beginning of their reality show. How convenient. Not.
