Evelyn is spoiled and immature, and appears to have been the person her whole family revolves around for quite some time. I want to hear from her ex-boyfriends who her friend Mykayla said didn't work out. I have no sympathy for David though. He's old enough to have asked some questions about the living arrangements and geography before he agreed to come to the US. There are enough girls he could date in Spain that this whole situation seems odd and makes me want to know what David's fatal flaw is.

He did it because Nicole threatened to take May out of the country to live with Azan permanently if no one would sponsor him. Nicole may be stupid, but she is also clever and manipulative. She knew what to threaten her father with to get him to sponsor Azan. I think Nicole's parents are terrified of Nicole being May's sole adult guardian, for good reason. If Azan had hit and shoved Nicole the way Nicole hit and shoved Azan, there would be a whole discussion about horrible Middle Eastern men and how violent they are.

I know it will never happen, but Child Protective Services should be involved when a parent brings a total stranger to live in their house with their under-aged children. Or when a twit takes her toddler to another country and declares that she plans to leave her small child with a stranger to test whether he is a good father. It makes me sick.

Yes. I have known several people in my life who are that desperate not to be alone and to find "true love" that they would sit in a 100 degree shit hole for 24 hours desperately waiting for their asshole to come back to them. In the same way someone would spend their entire 401k on a trip to meet a woman who might not even like them. Or not die from embarrassment when a guy gets on one knee in front of a camera and hands them an "appreciation ring." And yes, Larry is creepy. I couldn't figure out why so many people kept singing his praises in the beginning. He always creeped me out.

Miriam is playing games and needs to figure out what she wants. Letting some guy fly to another country to date her, only to inform him she already has a boyfriend, was cruel and very immature. Patrick needs to go home. I really think Antonio left Courtney in the apartment for 24 hours because he was hoping she would leave and go home if he left long enough. Its pretty clear that he got what he wanted. Courtney also needs to just go home. Also, in episode 1 they tried to sell Courtney to us as an experienced solo World traveler. I call bullshit on that one. An experienced solo traveler would have left and found a hotel with air conditioning. Not sat dying in the heat in some shitty apartment for 24 hours. I feel no sympathy that Larry spent his life savings on this trip. He's a dumb ass who should be home spending his money on his kids.

I just want to add that I grew up in North Jersey for a long time, and my sister and mom both attended Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes. Most women in North Jersey are not this tacky and horrible. These women are serious trash. I never met anyone like them when I lived there. I don't know anyone who would toss a cake at a restaurant. I would have been mortified. This show does everything it can to play up the Jersey girl stereotype.

I can't work up any sympathy for Teresa or Melissa over the dead mom thing. They just suck that bad as people. I can't bring myself to care. They're too full of themselves. And if Melissa crawls any farther up Teresa's ass, they're going to have to surgically extract her. The cake tossing was tacky, but it was also obviously pre-planned by Bravo. I find Danielle and Melissa's bad nose jobs distracting.

Preferences around alcohol are one of many things you would normally find out in the first few months of dating. Which just shows that despite tons of texting, these people are still strangers to each other. Strangers who are talking about proposing and marriage and step-parenting. Its insane. Chris is more relaxed because he knows he has the upper hand. He and Abby likely worked out this entire situation off-camera before Sean ever got to Haiti. Chris still has Abby firmly under his thumb, so what is there to worry about? I just want to know how much money Chris has given Abby and Abby's family to keep her this compliant.

Jesse is controlling and Darcy is desperate to get married and have a baby. This can only end well. My parents sometimes went to parties and drank when I was little. They weren't alcoholics and I turned out just fine. Jesse doesn't know enough about Darcy yet to judge whether she has a problem with alcohol or not. And yes, Darcy is horrible, but we don't know if she has a problem with alcohol. And Jesse is no prize from what has been shown on the television. I feel bad for Abby. She's a young woman with no options but an American sugar daddy. I wish someone would offer her an education so she could find opportunity outside of Haiti.

I really thought the "big secret" was going to be that Paul "suffers" from same-sex attraction and used to have boyfriend or something. I didn't see the restraining order/Firestarter thing coming. I started laughing when he was running and trying to jump in the river. As someone said up thread, it did seem rather manufactured. If Darcy's not an alcoholic, then Jesse is super controlling and she needs to get the hell out of there.

I can't really say Barb has done a good job. A good job would have included not regularly screaming in front of Jace, and completely kicking Jenelle out if she couldn't stop screaming of Jace either. Just from the little bits we hear on the show, I have a bad feeling that Jace has serious aggression issues and is disturbed. They used the term sociopath in one episode, if I recall. More than any other kid on this show except Kaiser, I think Jace is headed for drug addiction and/or jail some day. The other mothers have screwed up too, but none of their kids seem to have quite the level of issues that Jace has. Its really pretty sad. I wanted to vomit when Barb asked Jace why he wasn't happier about the custody agreement. The poor kid is so confused and messed up.

Jenelle is an ass, but Barb is an instigator and an agitator. Barb likes the fight, and Barb likes the attention she gets for her martyr role. And Barb wants Jayce to hate David, regardless of the emotional toll on Jayce. More than any kid on this show, Jayce should have been placed for adoption at birth. Barb doesn't really want to reconcile with Jenelle, or improve the relationship. When they get into it, Barb screams just as loud with just as little regard for Jayce standing nearby.

I don't think Antonio is a catfish. A catfish is someone who is lying and scamming someone else and hiding their real identity. I think Antonio is a player, who is happy to have sex with any attractive woman dumb enough to fly to Spain and stay at his apartment. I do think he has probably led Cortney on, but she needs to get a clue. When the guy wouldn't video chat and didn't clear his work schedule, she should have gone off and taken a solo tour of Spain, then gone home. Also, they presented Cortney as an experienced solo international traveler, but she seems clueless and unable to figure anything out. An experienced solo traveler would know how to find a taxi and a hotel in a strange city. An experienced solo traveler wouldn't look so frightened when she might have been ditched. Sad yes, but Cortney seemed totally lost.

And honestly? It's true. And its really weird that a hot young guy like that is trolling the Internet for an average looking woman in her 40's with two kids who lives in another country. It's a huge red flag that either he's a scammer or something is wrong with him. I say the same thing about Paul. He's a nice looking 34 year old guy. Given the male to female ratio at that age, he should have women knocking each other over to get to him, especially if he's a Christian and hangs out in any Christian church singles groups. I say this from experience. Something is wrong with these guys. Either they're scamming, or they have some other fatal flaw. Like carrying around some of Mommy's hair. In Paul's case, I have found that some single Christian guys who say they want a relationship but never find one are actually gay and in the closet. Not all single Christian guys by any means, but some.

One of many pet peeves I have with the Americans on this show is that none of them appear to have even bothered to go buy Rosetta Stone so they can attempt to communicate in the language of the country they are about to spend 6 weeks visiting. Paul especially. It's pathetic and so typical of stereotypical Americans who think everyone should speak English. When I was an Exchange student in France, I used to cringe at how people assumed all French people in Paris should know English, and that all restaurants in Paris should have English menus.

Was Paul wearing a bullet proof vest?? And someone please tell me that the US government won't really grant a Visa to someone who can only communicate with her fiancé on Google translate. The comment the dad made about Karini being picked by an American even though she's from a poor family broke my heart.

She looks far enough along that I'm guessing she was pregnant on her honeymoon. I just can't with these people.

Plus, they are willing to have their kids cohabiting with a person they barely know. Someone who could be a rapist or a pedophile. And they're more concerned with their own need to have someone than they are with the safety of their kids.

Its what they've been taught, and its all they know. You get married and knocked up ASAP. Jinger continues to be my favorite Duggar. I think her modernization might be Jeremy's influence. I really want to know what her sisters really think of her wearing pants.

Its not admirable at all, but from the first day of the show, Anfisa never misrepresented herself. She didn't lie. She said flat out she would leave if Jorge couldn't give her what she wanted. She blocked his phone over a Chanel bag. She broke multiple cell phones, keyed his car, and made it perfectly clear who she was. Anfisa is not an admirable person at all, but Jorge knew when he walked down the aisle that she was nuts, that his family hated her, and that he would spend his whole life trying to placate her. Anfisa is a bitch, but Jorge is a liar. He lied to get her to come to the US, and then he thought he could get her to change and be a completely different person. No one should have sympathy for Jorge. And about the whole job thing, I never got the feeling that Jorge wanted Anfisa to work. He wanted her to stay home and cook and clean and raise kids. Which is completely opposite to Anfisa's personality. The whole situation is incredibly stupid.

Yeah, its not like Anfisa pretended to be a caring and giving person before Jorge married her. She keyed his car and he married her anyway. She said flat out that she would leave him if he was broke, he knew he was in debt and she would probably figure that out at some point, and he married her anyway. Both Jorge and Danielle wanted a relatively hot spouse who they couldn't get in the US, so they blew past every red flag and married crazy. I don't have sympathy for either of them. Danielle in particular wasted thousands of dollars she could have spent on her kids. And I do believe that Jorge lied to Anfisa and claimed to be a millionaire.

Pedro has messed up priorities, but Chantel is an entitled, spoiled, brat. Immature, and a huge pain in the ass. It's a toss up as to which of them is worse.

That supposed model networking event seemed to be 99% models, and very few hiring agents or important people. I really wonder if that whole event was staged for the show, or if Paola's agent is really that horrible at getting models jobs. Also, Paola is a beautiful woman, but when you look at her next to the other models, she looks a little overweight and doesn't really stand out. She has a nice body, but not a model body. I think her best shot is those car races she was working before, and cheap music videos. She's not making the cover of Vogue. And how come Russ got a job so fast and yet Paola hasn't worked for MONTHS? If that is really the worst week of Chantel's whole life, she can suck it. The worst weeks of my life involve people dying, being diagnosed with cancer, or having a stroke. I realize that she's still young, but Chantel is also horribly spoiled. And she barely apologized for her family before launching into another whine-fest about her supposed tiny apartment. Pedro's family is using them totally, but Chantel needs to realize she married a Mama's boy, and either accept it or get out.

Long term, I suspect Jenelle will be the same type of mother as Kail's mother, and as Catelynn's mother from Teen Mom OG. It is all about Jenelle, all the time. You never see her stop and consider how her children feel or what is really best for them. The only time she defends her kids is when she's doing to it to screw with one of her baby daddies or with her mother. She has no patience for Kaiser. As creepy as David is, he appears to be more the primary parent to Kaiser than Jenelle is. If the cameras weren't around, I suspect Kaiser would be living with either Barb or Nathan's mom. Of all the mothers on all the Teen Mom shows, I think Jenelle might really be the worst. Does Breanna do anything, like go to school or work or anything?? We never see her actually doing anything or pretending to do anything.

It's really not about what Pedro's family needs or doesn't need, or what poor people should be entitled to. Its about Pedro and Chantel being on the same page in regards to what help they will be offering family. They should have had a mature discussion about this before they got married. But neither of them is mature (although Chantel seems worse in the maturity department than Pedro), so instead they're focusing on bachelorette parties and calling each other "Baby", and not on working as a team. The marriage is doomed. Chantel wants Pedro to be a completely different person who speaks in a sexy Dominican accent, and Pedro refuses to make Chantel his first priority before his Mommy getting a television. And Chantel's family is horrid for refusing to get out of the car, and horrid for not holding their daughter accountable for the mess she is 50% responsible for.
