  1. All 5 Brown adults are toxic assholes. Seriously. I guess this is what happens when you have a toxic marriage with 5 spouses. I'm glad a few of the adult kids escaped and don't live near any of them. Christine is a fame whore who does not deserve the good edit she is getting or a spinoff show. She told that story on purpose, knowing Meri likely hadn't mentioned it because it was embarrassing and sad. She is just as bad as the rest of them. I would love to see Meri share some stories about Christine to return the favor.
  2. I think Kody and Janelle had a real friendship at some point. I think Kody was in love with Meri when they first married, but that soured long before the show started. I don't think Kody ever liked Christine at all.
  3. https://www.theashleysrealityroundup.com/2023/11/27/tlc-to-air-two-part-special-about-sister-wives-star-christine-browns-wedding-to-david-woolley-get-details/ Not interested. TLC needs to expand and find some original content. All their shows follow the same 3 themes now. It's getting really old.
  4. I watched the first hour. I found it moderately entertaining. It seemed to mainly focus on Janelle, so I assume each hour will focus mainly on one wife. Suki doesn't bother me. I kind of like her. I look at what she actually has to work with regarding the Brown family. She navigates it pretty well. It said something to me about Christine's real personality when she admitted that she told Janelle not to go home when Kody had Covid. Christine wasn't wrong in her interpretation of the situation, but her tone and attitude spoke volumes about who is the alpha in the Christine/Janelle relationship. Some of Kody's comments about Christine's personality and constant complaints during their marriage are probably true. I also think that both Kody and Christine hate each other, and both have done things to stick it to the other person. In some ways, they deserve each other. Is it obvious that I don't like any of these people?
  5. The hosts of these Tell All's almost never watch the show they are hosting the Tell All for. For sure, Suki does not watch the show and the social media like some people who are watching the show. She most likely receives notes and questions from an assistant. Also, the host needs to be respectful of the person they are interviewing. They can't start attacking them with accusatory statements, or interrogate them about contradictory stories they are telling. It's a cheaply produced D-list reality show. it wasn't expensive before, and I believe the Browns agreed to a pay cut somewhere along the way to keep the show on the air. Suki isn't pouring over the episodes or the social media before she does these hosting gigs, and I don't blame her for that. Also, every single Brown is running their own agenda. If Suki started really confronting them on their crap, they would walk off the stage. They're not going to answer some of the questions people on here want to be asked.
  6. I cannot fathom what they going to discuss for 4 freaking hours on this Tell All. From the sneak peeks we got, I would guess about an hour of actual talking and 3 hours of flashback videos. And I wish Christine and David well, but I have no desire to watch their relationship, or a Christine\Janelle spinoff, or any more scenes with Mykelti and Tony. I probably won't watch all of next season. This show is so over.
  7. If I remember correctly from this episode and from the last Tell All, Meri said Kody says one thing in front of the camera/public, and something else to her in private. I think he led her on for a long time, either because Robyn wanted her to stay or because Kody felt he needed Meri to keep the show going. Or just to stroke his ego by seeing her beg for his attention. It made me ill that Meri even granted him this meeting to "officially" break it off. She should have just left and told the cameras and Instagram that she was divorcing his ass.
  8. Did Christine say she went to college? I thought that's what she said in the one scene. That surprised me. I assumed she married Kody right out of high school. And why is Janelle just getting to know Christine's brothers after decades of being their sister wife-in law? We never get any real explanations on anything. The picnic table fiasco was both boring and annoying. Robyn cries that Meri is leaving, but Robyn didn't include Meri in Easter and some comments by Meri make me think Robyn doesn't reach out to her that often. Why wasn't Meri included in Christmas #2 or Truely's birthday party, for example?? I can't image what they're going to discuss for 4 hours, when they never provide us any real details on what is going on.
  9. They all seem to avoid lawyers and court like the plague. There doesn't appear to be any legal custody agreement for Truely either. I'm guessing none of the 5 Brown adults can risk an audit of their finances that might go back 30 years. Either that, or money changed hands between them so many times with no agreements written down that it would be a futile effort to go to court. If Meri and Janelle put their names on certain parcels of land on Coyote Pass, those are the parcels they get, fair or not. They have no legal marriage to Kody and no minor children anymore. They likely have no real claim.
  10. https://www.today.com/popculture/tv/sister-wives-robyn-brown-cries-broken-family-rcna125523 They need to stop showing this scene to us over and over like it is some huge, significant, emotional moment. Robyn is not believable in this scene. Her crying is not believable, and her claims of not understanding what happened are complete bullshit. At least half the family didn't want to move to Flagstaff. There was discord and angst from the start. There were already huge problems between Kody and Meri that we were shown, and there were apparently significant problems between Kody and Christine that we weren't really shown. Its like the existing family problems were a camp fire, and Flagstaff was gasoline thrown on top of it. It was a disaster waiting to happen. And Robyn continuing to play dumb and act like she didn't see any problems a long time ago are really annoying to watch. Also, Robyn needs to suck it up and realize how traumatizing it has to be for Meri to lose a 30+ year marriage that ate up her entire adulthood, and try harder to support the woman she claims is her friend. Robyn makes it all about herself, all the time.
  11. Maybe Kody looks better because he is out of polygamy, and as bad as polygamy is for women, it doesn't really work as a family structure for the men either. I think all 5 Brown adults are better off without polygamy. But I feel badly for the 18 kids that have to live in the aftermath of the mess that was created. I noticed in this episode that Kody seems happier and is laughing more easily too, just like Christine, Janelle, and Meri. It's too bad he can't be adult enough to fix things with his kids and be a decent divorced dad instead of the typical ass who has moved on and doesn't really care much about his original kids. That crap he spewed about how his children can't come between him and Robyn was just awful.
  12. I would like to hear from Mykelti on why Kody's behavior towards her siblings is okay but Meri's is not. I'm pretty sure the 10 second Talking Head interview we saw of Breanna and Aurora was part of another interview they showed in a previous episode. I think the outfits they wore were the same. The timeline for this show is all kinds of screwed up. Kody saw Janelle's new apartment in the last episode, but now they are saying that was 10 months ago. And I don't think they meant 10 months since Kody slept there. I think they mean 10 months since he was there at all. It's like the editors hate this show and are mixing things up on purpose. The rest of the episode was boring. They are jumping ahead in time quickly because they don't have enough content to fill multiple hour-long episodes. I guess next week is when we finally get the Robyn I Wanted to Sit on the Porch crying scene.
  13. The entire show seems very staged at this point. But I am impressed that producers managed to create a show without a single likeable cast member. Except maybe the dogs. I can't decide if Pedro is really a scammer who used Chantel for a green card or not. But Chantel is so unlikeable that I don't really care.
  14. Mykelti actually reminds me a lot of Christine with her mannerisms and immaturity. And the over the top-ness when she interacts.
  15. Meri married Kody at 19 years old and was never with anyone else. They were married over 30 years. I think this is an understandable desire on Meri's part. What Kody has done to her is cruel.
  16. I'm glad that Meri is starting to see that she can be okay and happy without clinging to people who obviously don't want or care about her. I hope she continues on that path. I am liking her more and more. I didn't mind her two friends. I'm thrilled she wasn't pathetically trying to involve Robyn in her renovation. The tree analogy was a bit odd, but I got what she was trying to say. If Robyn wanted a closer relationship with Meri, maybe she should have invited her to Easter. I love watching Janelle treat Kody the exact same way that Kody treats Meri. He needs a dose of his own medicine. I don't judge Mykelti for her relationship with Kody and Robyn. We don't know the whole story and never will. Christine benefits from both a great edit and how awful Kody and Robyn appear on camera by comparison, but we don't know everything that went on between Mykelti and Christine.
  17. Without the drama from Robyn and Kody, you are going to get episode after episode of Christine partying, Janelle gardening, and Meri renovating the carriage house. Without the drama, the show is incredibly boring. Even with the drama, the show is becoming incredibly boring. But without Kody and Robyn to stir the pot, it will be like watching paint dry. Which is what a lot of this latest episode was anyway.
  18. https://www.etonline.com/media/videos/sister-wives-christine-celebrates-her-50th-birthday-without-robyn-and-kody-exclusive I feel badly for Robyn's kids, even though I know and understand why Christine didn't invite them to the party. Not only are they being left out through not fault of their own, but they're likely watching the party on the show and social media, and seeing talking head comments about themselves. It must create a very awkward situation. Not to mention what lies and exaggerations they are likely being told by Robyn and Kody about why they are being left out. It has to be hard to hear your former "sister mothers" saying they are now a family without you. And it explains why they don't reach out to the other kids. It must be very uncomfortable. Not to mention, all the kids are being forced by take sides (except Mykelti, who is apparently Switzerland). If any of the Brown adults really cared about the kids, they would get their mess off the television and social media. But they're all about the paycheck.
  19. Which is interesting, since Kody made such a huge deal about how Christine left without taking official steps or having official discussions. This just proves it is all about the power for Kody. He gets to dump Meri, so it's fine. But it burns his ass that Christine up and left him without his permission. And he can't stand that Janelle doesn't care if he's around or not. So he punishes the kids, because it is the only way to punish Janelle that Janelle will actually care about.
  20. I watched the episode. If I knew my father gave my innocent kid sister the silent treatment on Christmas just to stick it to my mother, I wouldn't have any need to reach out to him either. Maybe Kody should consider how his immature behavior comes across to his adult children. I guess Maddie no longer films, or I would think they would have had her speak for herself. And I love how Janelle treats Kody with the same passive indifference that Kody subjects Meri to.
  21. https://people.com/kailyn-lowry-pregnant-expecting-twins-with-boyfriend-elijah-scott-8383231 She either has a mental health issue, or there is some gap in her life she is desperately trying to fill with more and more kids. She's going to have 7 kids by 4 dads. And she's not part of Teen Mom anymore, is she? I stopped watching. But what is she doing for money these days?
  22. I watched the rest of the episode. Christine needs to stop annoying the hell out of Janelle and let her make her own decisions on her own time. Garrison's comment that he offered his house as a neutral holiday gathering spot and Kody said No is heartbreaking. Kody's comments on camera for his kids to hear later when watching these episodes are horrible in general. I wanted the producer to ask Robyn why she left Meri out of Easter if Meri's continued presence is so important to her. Meri does seem to have a sweet relationship with Robyn's kids. I felt bad for Aurora being forced to stand there awkwardly and film about her personal life so her parents can collect a paycheck. The guy she likes is probably going to watch it at some time, and Aurora seemed really self conscious about it. It is very obvious that these talking head interviews are filmed WAY after the scenes we are watching. The time jumps and switching around of when events are shown unfolding is annoying in general.
  23. I only watched the first part of the episode so far, but I'm confused. Kody banned Easter in favor of celebrating Passover instead. Christine and Janelle didn't protest, and Meri didn't care. Then Robyn came along and said she was going to take her kids to her mother's house to celebrate Easter because they always celebrate Easter. So Kody said that they could celebrate Easter at home, which is what Christine wanted anyway. This implies they started celebrating Easter again 10 years ago. But now Christine says she is only now getting to celebrate Easter, and Janelle is saying they need to recreate traditions. But if you follow Christine's and Kody's initial story, they were ALREADY celebrating Easter 10 years ago. I don't feel like we are ever getting the real story with these people.
  24. If Gwen is telling the truth, it is incredibly shitty and says a lot about Christine's agenda and level of maturity. I know Kody and Christine hate each other now, but they need to not use their kids to further their own agendas.
  25. https://www.today.com/popculture/tv/sister-wives-kody-says-janelle-christine-want-separate-kids-rcna121061 Kody could have invited Savanah to Christmas #2. He could fly to visit Logan and Maddy and Hunter. While I believe that Christine is refusing to spend any holidays with Kody/Robyn and many of the adult kids are following her, Kody could still contact and spend time with most of his kids. He has only said that Gabe and Garrison won't speak to him. He has 11 other non-Robyn kids. Kody just wants to play the victim. And to say he is "okay" with the situation on camera for his kids to see later is cruel and doesn't help him reconnect with them, if he even really wants to. Which I'm beginning to question. Gwendolyn seems to still want a relationship with him, and he repaid her by showing up to her wedding 2 hours late.
