  1. I think Kody is high maintenance on a good day, and was completely insufferable during Covid. I'm thinking any suggestion Robyn made to improve the situation was dismissed, and because she's the "obedient" one, she just let it all happen without pushing back. Notice how Kody challenges the moderator on wording and gets all pissed off when she said he should run after his upset wife and continue the conversation instead of just sitting there and letting Janelle leave. And that moderator seems a lot more assertive and sure of herself than mousy Robyn. I also think Robyn likes being home and not working, and is willing to play nice with Kody if the alternative is getting a job. I think she approached Janelle with genuine intentions of improving their relationship, and I think Janelle is just fine the way things are and wants nothing to do with Robyn, or anything that requires real effort beyond chugging some Plexus. I think Christine hated Robyn on sight, and there is nothing that Robyn could have done differently to change that. I like this moderator better than Shawn (old moderator). She's pushier than Shawn, and you can tell more about what her real opinion is of this family.
  2. What does Janelle think about anything, like ever?? Janelle is the Switzerland/vanilla ice cream of this bunch. She goes along to get along, but I honestly wouldn't trust her. Because I think when it comes to the other people in this "marriage", Janelle will mostly side with whoever is in the room with her. I'm glad she at least stands up for her kids, but her passive manner and refusal to give an opinion or say what she's really feeling would drive me crazy. I don't Meri was the only problem in the relationship with Meri and Janelle. Janelle doesn't communicate, while Christine is theatrical and over-emotional. I don't like Robyn, but she's not the only problem in this marriage. The other three were messed up and toxic before she ever arrived on the scene. If Janelle doesn't want to make things better with Robyn, say so. If she doesn't want to resolve anything with Meri, say so. Instead, Janelle just shrugs and says she'll think about it, which really means NO, but for whatever reason she doesn't have the balls to just say that.
  3. I think "safe space" is a bullshit term they are using to excuse why they didn't come out and tell each other what they were really thinking and feeling. I don't believe Kody is physically abusive, or even extremely emotionally or verbally abusive. Kody is a garden-variety asshole, and these women have chosen to put up with his shit for years. Some of that responsibility is on them too. I also believe Janelle that Christine didn't speak up before, and that Christine may be rewriting history a bit because she's unhappy now. I've seen people do it before when they are getting divorced. I don't think Christine was miserable for the entire marriage. As much as Christine claimed to be overwhelmed, I don't think she wanted to go out and get a full time job and do that instead of childcare. I think the situation worked for Christine in may aspects that she's not completely admitting to now because it doesn't fit the Basement Wife narrative. All these people have an agenda.
  4. I think Janelle takes advantage of Kody's unwillingness to completely walk away. He helped with the RV sometimes over the summer, and he does a little yard work. I think it's enough for her. In return, she does and goes where she wants. I don't think Kody wants anything more from Janelle either.
  5. Wouldn't the humiliation of knowing the whole world heard your husband say he's not in love with you make you leave, even if nothing else did?? I've lived alone for a long time, so maybe the prospect just doesn't scare me, but Janelle has pretty much been a single mother as well. I'm betting her sons do 99% of the home maintenance that isn't covered by the landlord. Kody shows up once in a blue moon and helps for 20 minutes. I just don't understand why it's worth for her to pretend there's a marriage.
  6. If Maddie actually finishes school and gets a job, I'll be shocked. She seems to do a lot of things half-assed. I'm betting baby #3 will soon be on the way and school will conveniently be put on hold. There will always be an excuse. While I don't like Meri, she may have been correct in her assessment of Maddie's work ethic. Even the Plexus selling is half-assed compared to the effort Janelle and Christine are making. We see a lot of Maddie on the couch in sweats on Instagram.
  7. I wonder if Meri is as bad as Maddie made it seem, or if Maddie is prone to exaggeration like her father (Christine MURDERED our intimacy with betrayal!). I'm sure Meri was a bitch, but I question whether she was really a monster. And if she was, then Janelle left her kids in a house living with a monster, which makes her just as bad as Meri.
  8. I know she caused a lot of her own misery and she's a bitch, but I feel pity for Meri. She married really young and then watched her new husband marry her brother's ex wife and make baby after baby. You can tell no one in the family cares about her at all, but she keeps clinging and I think Robyn convinced her there is still hope. It's really sad. What are they going to talk about for another two hours?? I like the new host though.
  9. Years ago, Christine's only source of income if she left Kody and Janelle was to go get a real job. And Christine is not the first woman who would rather sit in a crappy marriage than get her ass out there and financially support herself. I fully believe Christine popped out kid after kid long after she knew her marriage wasn't good. She certainly knew before she got pregnant with Truely. Robyn made things worse, but they were never all that great. Some of the blame for this mess falls on Christine.
  10. They asked Dr Drew once about the soft ball questions he gives the Teen Mom stars. His answer was that you can't ask these people truly hard questions because they won't answer and they'll just walk off set. He also implied that people like this lack self awareness and don't really see themselves like other people do. They don't see what a mess they are.
  11. Christine was on Facebook Live last night selling fancy pajamas from LulaRoe for $82 a set. She claims they are actually clothing sets that you should feel no shame about leaving the house in, but really they were at best sweatsuits, and at worst totally pajamas. And she has multiple buyers, which is only because of the reality show. She would not be doing this well if not for the fame from the show. And I can't believe how many people are buying into it. I will say that Christine is much more likeable on Facebook Live than Meri, who always comes across as superior and condescending. At least Christine is friendly to you while you're spending too much money on pajamas. Also, Christine looks super happy and far more content with her life than Meri. Truely also made an appearance. She's such a sweet kid. Hopefully they're not giving her Plexus.
  12. Their combined finances may be totally screwed up. And Christine's own hands may not be clean from when she was accepting food stamps back in the day. If she said her kids had no dad back then to get food stamps, and she files for child support now, she could be in real trouble. Plus, Kody may not have any money. As others have stated, this whole house of cards could be built with credit cards and loans. Additionally, if Christine had started a fight, Kody could deny her the right to move with Truely to Utah. It is very difficult to move out of state with a child without the other parent's consent.
  13. Sorry! I will try to fix it.
  14. I believe the divorce is real. I also believe they waited to announce it because TLC told them to wait. And I think some of the scenes and drama are fake and reenactments, based on what is commonly done on other reality shows. But I think Christine really left, and Kody really is an asshole.
  15. With Christine gone back to Utah, that leaves a whole plot of land on the Prairie Pass for Janelle's greenhouses. Maybe it will all work out. $10 says that Kody and Robyn blame the continued failure to build on the Prairie Land on Christine's "choice" to leave and the financial and emotional turmoil it caused.
  16. I only have an hour too. Sister Wives is basically filler material between all the 1,000 spinoff episodes of 90 Day Fiance.
  17. I watched Christine's Facebook Live or Takeover or whatever where she is selling LulaRoe clothing last night, and she is making far more sales than a typical sales rep. I noticed the same thing about Meri's Facebook Lives. They are successful in this because of the show. I know other people who sold LulaRoe who struggled to make any sales at all. Someone even posted a comment on Christine's Live that they are buying something just to support her because they like her so much. These women are completely dependent on the show to make money in their businesses off the show. Yet they try to act like their businesses are separate and ask you not to ask show-related questions on their Facebook Lives. I will never buy anything from any of them. And Christine was at one point selling a skirt or leggings (couldn't tell which), and she said the price is $48!!!! It looked like something I could find for half that price at Kohls or Target. I also saw where she either has or is going to hold a sale to sell her and Truely's USED clothes. Meri did that too at one and was selling rags and getting top dollar.
  18. Kody has been sleeping with 4 different women for YEARS and it's fine, but Meri has a little sexy time with a catfish and it's the end of the world. This is the logic of polygamy. And I really hope what I sensed in next week's preview is wrong and that Janelle and Meri don't throw Christine under the bus by talking about "choices". Kody has shown Christine nothing but disdain for her supposed "behavior", but she's supposed to sit there waiting for it to be different, WHILE he is telling her he's not attracted to her anymore.
  19. I watched the episode. None of the Brown adults should be zooming the camera in that close to their face. Really just don't. And Kody is an ass, but Christine's crying was super fake and possibly just a reenactment for the camera. I'm still glad she left him.
  20. Agreed, but if it was possible, the thought of Kody as a sexual partner would be my tipping point. Just sayin'. I will watch the episode tonight, but I really think Kody assumed that Christine would be like Meri and make no demands or independent decisions. I have a feeling this is the first time Christine has ever stood up for herself with Kody. At least Christine was nice enough to box his crap and label it. I would have put it in trash bags and dumped it outside on the driveway.
  21. This is the best season they've had in years, so I hope the show isn't ending. I doubt it is, just when things are finally getting interesting. I nothing very little about autism, but if Dayton can handle a triple major at college, why does Robyn behave as if he could never live independently in an apartment somewhere? If he really does have a triple major, that's a pretty demanding course-load. I assumed he had significant special needs based on what we see on the show and how Robyn talks about him. Does he really have serious challenges that prohibit independence, or is his biggest challenge having overbearing Robyn as his mother?
  22. I think Kody's "anger" is fake, manipulative, and a way to avoid addressing the real issues, most of which are his own fault.
  23. There's a new video on TLC's Instagram where Robyn talks about the unnecessary nanny testing positive for Covid. And she totally focuses on how the whole family got together for Ariella's birthday and now might be exposed to Covid. And all I can think is 1. They can be together for Ariella, but not for Ysabel's surgery or anyone else's birthday, and 2. If it was one of Janelle's sons who exposed the family, where would be no forgiveness from Kody EVER, and he would hold it over Janelle's head and the head of whichever kid caught it until the end of time. But since it is the Nanny, Kody and Robyn will try to play it like here's proof that we were right that the family shouldn't hang out together.
  24. If Janelle got Covid, Kody wouldn't come within 500 miles of her. And Janelle's knows it, which is why she's not alienating her kids or kicking them out of the house. She knows who she can call if she needs help, and it's her kids, not Kody. Just like Gabe knows that it is Christine who will always be there for him, not his father. And he's acting accordingly. Everyone has Kody's number, and they all know the truth about where his loyalty lies.
  25. Regarding the preview for next week when Christine puts Kody's crap in the garage, I think it surprised Kody because I don't think Christine has ever stood up to anyone in her whole life. She was the Basement Wife, who accepted whatever was offered. And I think Kody assumed that Christine would react like Meri and take whatever time he offered her and pathetically continue to pander to him while getting nothing in return. Christine is setting a good example for her kids by refusing to accept a loveless and sexless marriage to a man who obviously has no respect for her. I feel bad for Truely, but it wasn't the example of a relationship/marriage she should have been seeing anyway. I've noticed that it has been forever since Kody has had a single compliment for Christine. When Gabe pointed out that Christine was his second mother who basically raised him and his siblings, Kody had to minimize it by time-boxing it into "before Las Vegas." I hope if Aspyn's husband tries to pull her into polygamy that Christine speaks up for her daughter's well-being. Janelle seems to be taking a different approach, not leaving but not giving in to Kody's demands either. I think leaving is more honest.
