  1. I'm getting confused with the episode ordering and titles. The one that was broadcast in the US on 4/3/16 was actually Episode 3. The premiere from the previous week was actually the first two episodes of season/series 4 joined together. Why is this topic headed "S04.E02: Part 2?" If we go by the US broadcasts, it's 4.02 (but not Part 2). If we go by the UK broadcasts, it's 4.03, and there should be a separate topic for 4.02 (AKA US 4.01, Part 2).
  2. I'm having a hard time buying Riff as Luke's "idol" and "mentor" and someone who was apparently successful in the music business well before Luke when the actor playing him (Tony winner Steve Kazee) is five years YOUNGER than Will Chase (the Broadway star who plays Luke.) Couldn't they have found someone who looks substantially older?
  3. So if no one else knows about the storage unit, how did Sheldon manage to get all that stuff there by himself? He doesn't drive. Did he hire people? And without Leonard knowing about it?
  4. As much as I love this show, I'm getting frustrated that they keep adding new characters and storylines (e.g., William, Young-Hee) when there are still unresolved, and presumably still ongoing, interactions with people that seem to have been forgotten, like Kimmie and the aircraft factory worker.
  5. The hotel they stayed at is no longer an Intercontinental but is now the Omni Los Angeles, and was (and is) probably the only "nice" hotel reasonably close to the courthouse. (It's only a few blocks away.)
  6. He's still billed as a guest star each week. And next season, when Connor throws him over for Annalise's "confirmed bachelor" brother, he might be gone altogether.
  7. Why is Paige in a class with all Down syndrome children?
  8. How was "I dated a Yeti once" not the episode title?
  9. It seemed like Sherri finished the paragliding task well before Ashley, so how did she and Cole end up behind Ashley and Burnie at the mat?
  10. One of the first commercials that aired during this episode in my market (LA) was for an ambulance-chasing law firm looking for nursing home abuse cases.
  11. It looked like they got to keep the knives, but I presume they'd be confiscated the next time they have to go through airport security. "What language do they speak in Switzerland?" "Swiss." They could've said French, German and/or Italian and been correct, but SWISS?
  12. So what ever happened to Cyrus's whore-husband? We haven't seen him in a LONG time, and clearly Cy is OK with bringing other guys home for fun.
  13. I was impressed with Kurt's Spanish language skills. Tyler and Brody are on two different teams. I think Darius' main problem was that he didn't realize that "vendor" and "designer" were two different things.
  14. Even though the show would never tell us, I think Bertie's cousin was most likely "done in" by some Tangiers rough trade. So, Tom was the best man at the wedding, but then who was the maid of honor? It CERTAINLY wasn't Edith, and I can't imagine anyone else who'd stand up for Mary.
  15. Next Sunday's episode is being listed as 1:20.
  16. The actor who played the black cop was the blind diner owner on the entire run of "Becker."
  17. OK, here's what struck me as odd-- on the wedding invitation that Isobel received, it clearly showed the groom's name as "Larry." I'd always assumed that was the guy's nickname, and that his given name was Laurence or Lawrence. (For example, Laurence Olivier was frequently referred to as "Larry," but I doubt it ever showed that on his wedding invitations.) While I would suspect that perhaps lower class people might give a child a nickname as his "Christian" or official name, it seems strange for an upper class family to have done so. Or am I just making too many assumptions?
  18. "Nationality?" As far as I know, all contestants have to be American citizens.
  19. So ... 1. Non-elimination on the first leg. 2. No prize for the winner 3. No Express Pass I wonder what in other ways the Race will be changing it up this season? Also, instead of Killer Fatigue, I can envision that most of these teams will instead suffer from major withdrawal symptoms from being away from their cell phones and computers for such a long stretch.
  20. This was covered in the episode, wasn't it? Don't know if this has been mentioned, but Gil Garcetti (being portrayed here by Bruce Greenwood) was (and is) the Consulting Producer for "The Closer" and "Major Crimes." He's also the father of the current mayor of Los Angeles. I dunno. Read it somewhere. I barely know why he's such a household name. Let's see: Glee, Nip/Tuck, four seasons of American Horror Story, The Normal Heart ...
  21. Sorry to be nitpicky, but it's still wrong. His name is Al Cowlings, or AC. No one called him AC Cowlings.
  22. VANELLA - an aigstract used in baking, but primarily known as a flavor of vodka ULLIGANT - rilly, rilly fancy
  23. Does anyone know where this episode can be seen? I missed it when it was broadcast, and it's not on Netflix (they have everything through the end of Season 4.) Also not on the PBS site.
  24. Now I'm trying to imagine how Robert or Carson would have reacted to a microwave. Remember Carson's disdain for the toaster? Did anyone else thing Mrs. Hughes seemed much thinner (especially in the face?) She was the only one of the characters who seems to have aged in accordance with the show's timeline. I believe we started in 1912, and now it's 1925? How many of the characters actually look as if they've aged 13 years? And what year were we in at the end of Series/Season 5?
