  1. If I was on Survivor I would vote for anyone who says, "At the end of the day..."
  2. She didn't have to guess but she should have at least thought harder and longer before jumping at the opportunity. Instead she admitted that because she's an athlete she loves challenges and competition. Compare that to Kellie tonight. She was playing for an advantage right when they read the IOTI disclaimer and the point of IOTI was to outplay these All Star players. She might not have known that she could negotiate but she did take the time to weigh her options and in the end that's what helped her. Rob and Sandra have played 7 times between them. They know how to read people. Elizabeth came to island acting like a starstruck noob. Kellie came off as a "smarty pants" and looked like she wasn't paying attention. Rob guessed that she wouldn't jump at the 1st opportunity but incorrectly betted that she couldn't answer 3 of the 5.
  3. I think that would spoil the blindside a bit.
  4. It's obviously not an unpopular opinion or else they wouldn't keep bringing him back.
  5. If I was going on Survivor I would learn how to start a fire. However, I'm not sure I'd volunteer that info right away.
  6. I think if you really pay attention the lesson was so much more than just making fire.
  7. I'm glad the Asian germaphobe and the handsy guy talked. However, at the end it came off like the woman was telling the man, "Don't like me less because you can't give me a back massage." I wish Elizabeth told everyone about Idol Island because if everyone knows we can forego any future "What is this place? OMG! IT'S BOSTON ROB AND SANDRA!!!" scenes.
  8. Season 40 is all winners. I'm guessing Sandra and Rob get to pick tribes and they are competing for who gets 1st pick.
  9. Fred: "I can die happy now!" Me: "Let's make that happen."
  10. I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and think that the kids come up with the recipes and cook the food. Only the descriptions get jazzed up by the producers. That's how Ivy's pork chops and pear sauce got turned into whatever the hell she served last week. I'm fine with Che winning. But I was hoping a kid would win and not a 28 year old trapped in a 12 year old body.
  11. Casey is also a co-owner of the boat so he benefits from having the CM featured on Disco. No Josh=No air time. There are a total of 4 owners. Josh, Casey, and 2 other investors. Josh has the largest stake. Who owns the Cornelia Marie?
  12. Just watched the preview for next week. Both dragons are shown. Rhaegar flying above Targ ships and Drogon roaring next two Daeny in her white winter coat.
  13. The AxeCap team didn't waste their time burying the kid. They took in $430 million of the kid's business.
  14. The Whisperers may not have the numbers but remember they've got 2 hostages hidden away somewhere.
  15. Filipino food has about as much in common with East Asian food as it does with Spanish food.
  16. I think the implication was that Carol set up the whole dog/zombie drama. They show her hiding in the bushes, bow and arrow at the ready in case things get outta hand. Daryl mentions that Dog never got caught in a trap before. Am I correct in assuming that the title refers to both the violin and Carol playing Daryl like a fiddle? It certainly fits her character history.
  17. Penn said it herself she forgave him for herself so she could feel better by not holding on to negative feelings.
  18. When were they ever together? I don't recall the two actors being on screen together in one single scene aside from episode 1 when Robert and the Lannisters arrive at Winterfell.
  19. Not to come off as a dick but can you give me examples of directors who were fantastic AND are pleasant to work with?
  20. Totally agree he's a pain in the ass but then again that's pretty common trait with all great film makers. Not saying Jason is great. That remains to be seen. I gotta respect him for standing up for his vision. In the end he'll make the movie he wanted to make, and if it turns out to be a turkey its on him.
  21. I think they are indulging him for the sake of the film. His demands at least are coming from a place where he thinks it will make the film better. It's not like he's demanding caviar from crafts services. And what problems has Jason caused big picture wise? They are still on schedule to begin shooting when they planned. He eventually compromised on the location. Seems like he just wanted to make sure they left no stone uncovered.
  22. IMO Effie failed. Jason's demand for film wasn't unrealistic because HBO caved in. He was able to persuade the PTB and if Effie was doing her job she could have too. And who cares who shows Jason the locations as long as he finds one in the end. For what it's worth, I've seen all the entries as well as Jason's short that this feature is going to be based on and Jason IMO is by far the most talented and not just there for drama. Jason didn't give up less days for film. It was always a 20 day shoot. The option was 2 EXTRA days to shoot.
  23. I think I'm going to wait for either the books or show to answer the is he dead question. There's a media thread. Can we keep the EW article and spoilers confined there?
  24. Jon Snow is not dead... In the next episode he finds himself in an alternate universe where he is a law-abiding salesman on a business trip.
  25. The show never bothered to bring it up again after the questioning of Jaimie in Season 1. I think it's a big deal but I guess D&D and everyone else don't.
