  1. I had such a crush on Dick Gautier from "When things were rotten". Him and Dirk Benedict & Richard Hatch from Battlestar Galactica. I don't remember him on Get Smart but saw some YouTube clips - so much funnier than Holmes & YoYo. And I love seeing Dick on Tattletales with his then wife Barbra Stuart.
  2. I wonder if the wedding day was really their first meeting. Or was this just how they got their wedding paid for and their 15 mins of fame.
  3. Working out. That's about it. He said he was pro for 3 years. I know he was cut from the Buffalo Bills during camp. Maybe Canadian Football League? Is the Arena League still around? Or was he referring to his "pro" dancing?
  4. Bronski Beat keyboardist Larry Steinbachek dies at 56 http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-38597071 #SmallTownBoy
  5. Is that where Jacqueline's daughter Ashley did her internship?
  6. Miami - Ana was in a cooking competition show. Same attitude. Larissa and Scotty are divorcing. DC - Micheala (how did she spell her name?) and the rocker are still together. Neil Schon? Looks like a mini Bruce Springsteen.
  7. If the drawer refill people can get their initial investors to dilute their shares, why not? We've seen that before. All these deals are contingent on fact checking. So Lori could have made the deal and if the initial investors refused to give from their shares, no deal. The wife got greedy and blew the deal.
  8. Normally, I wouldn't expect the wedding planning to pick up the bride's dress but in this instance (and for Married at First Sight), when the gown is being paid for by someone else (the show) who also hired this wedding planner to take care of all the details, I would expect her to deliver everything or at the least tell me what I was responsible for. It seemed very phony. 4 hours is a ridiculous amount of time to wait. Manufactured drama indeed.
  9. Chelsea came across as a lump on the show. A homebody. A couch potato. Yamir was in a boy band and seemed to have more energy, more drive. Now maybe Chelsea had personality that we could not see but they didn't seem well matched. In love, yes. But not well matched. On the show we saw how she didn't want to go to Chicago. I don't get it. Was he supposed to move to the USA, live in her parents' house with her and work in a factory while singing karaoke on the weekends? I don't think they thought this through or communicated well. Jason and Cassia? No surprise.
  10. Tahnee's ex-stepmom and bonus dad are all kinds of annoying. It's all about them. It was so obvious that guy #2 was not into marriage. He said it on date 1. Afraid of commitment. Guy 1 was nervous. Guy 2 wasn't into it. But ex-stepmom and bonus dad were somehow convinced that guy #2 is THE ONE! Because he has dark hair (ex-stepmom) and he's a MAN (bonus dad). Okkkkkkkkkkk. I don't think I'd let these 2 pick my dinner let alone my future husband. Now all 3 are tearful that they have to tell Tahnee that they "failed her". Um, what? You avoided a loser who would have stood her up at the altar. Who knows about guy #1 because he wasn't given a second shot because the extra parents weren't into him. What a joke. If this is supposed to be picked by mom & dad, there shouldn't be only 5 guys to choose from on video and only 2 to meet. I can see they don't show us all but that's all the time invested? And bio mom's complaint that meeting guy #2 for a second date was a waste of her time?! Wow. I get that she knew he was a no-go but the extra parents were going to choose him. I think the parents shouldn't meet the potential mates but instead the other parents and then choose from that. That would be more exciting than this.
  11. Yikes. Bad Victah. I was watching a That Girl episode and Don's boss was being played by James Gregory (Inspector Luger). A little younger but exactly the same. One funny thing was his wife's name in the episode was Agnes. Which he pronounced Aganess. Just like he did on Barney Miller when Agnes was the name of a diner waitress he was interested in. Ag A Ness.
  12. Neil DeGrasse Tyson's father, Cyril DeGrasse Tyson, author and community affairs & advocate for the disenfranchised, passed away at age 89 on Thursday. http://scarsdale.dailyvoice.com/obituaries/north-salems-cyril-degrasse-tyson-sociologist-educator-activist-89/694752/
  13. That episode to me is where the series shows its age. Other episodes are timeless, some could easily be filmed today (racial, middle east, russia etc). But that one is certainly dated. Unfortunately, we haven't progressed far enough since then.
  14. Pierre Baruch, French actor most known for A Man and A Woman, suffered a fatal heart attack at Cochin Hospital in Paris on Dec 28. http://www.huffingtonpost.fr/2016/12/28/pierre-barouh-deces/
  15. Not sure if this will display. Bed Bath and Beyond has an "interesting" commercial for the Squatty Potty with a unicorn. <iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FBedBathAndBeyond%2Fvideos%2F1185412931490401%2F&show_text=0&width=560" width="560" height="315" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowTransparency="true" allowFullScreen="true"></iframe>
  16. No. Blonde Mom was married to Bio Dad for a few years and they had Tahnee. Bio Dad got a job working for Lisa. Bio parents divorce. Bio Dad marries Lisa and Tahnee moves in with them. Bio Dad and Lisa divorce. Lisa marries Bonus Dad.
  17. Nice article in Hollywood Reporter about those still with us. (no jinxes) http://features.hollywoodreporter.com/creative-until-you-die/
  18. I thought there was a thread or topic for Real Housewives in general (not a specific locale). Does anyone know where can I post an update on DC and Miami? Thanks!
  19. Devin's vows... classy. "I'm done with hos". Just what every bride and her family wants to hear. Boy was sweating his weight out. I think he like Ursala leading with the dance. He thrives on drama. Maybe this will work as much as these fake arranged marriages work. Southern Baptist parents pick the Catholic guy over some dude with white foamy spittle on the corners of his mouth. As if that was the most objectionable thing about him. Catholic guy reminds me of Tom last year who married Christina. That seemed to work out. We'll see how blonde nitpicker does at the altar. Coming attractions show she has a meltdown because her wedding gown isn't there. Probably a production intentional mishap to cause drama. Tahni is 5'10 spray tanned and 30. Having her mom and step mom pick out her husband. Sounds like step mom may no longer be married to her father. Another unusual parental relationship. Tahni (or however it's spelled) doesn't seem as annoying as the next bride to be who has rules about her decorative pillows.
  20. A bit long but a better ending than I was expecting.
  21. OMG his hair! This is an interesting show. It sounded familiar but when watching it, I don't recognize any of it. Though Ruta Lee's name also seems familiar.
  22. I wonder if the father put up a lot of money for the company and factory and maybe that's why he wanted to share ownership with the sons.
  23. Wedding planner to Devin: one of the make-up artists canceled (due to the storm) Devin: As long as it wasn't mine. And he was being serious. And it wasn't his that canceled. What a catch!
  24. I want to know where was the scene of Alla throwing a chair off a deck onto sand with Matt and his brother looking on.
