Finally caught up on episodes with a lot of fast forwarding through many of the couples.  Yes, I'm here for the train wreck that is the unholy union of Rodney and Desiry (sp?).

Rodney is so awful--always smirking or displaying barely disguised contempt.  And yet he complains that Desiry is in need of anger management! He's also angry that the therapist recognized that he has mommy issues.  How on earth did these people get together to concoct the ludicrous show they're putting on?

Dani states she was stressed. From what? Shopping, drinking wine with your friends. Girl please lets see you get stressed with a minimum wage job and paying your own bills.

Desiry can you please use that credit card to get a personal shopper stat. Her wardrobe choices, ugg.

And that French braid....  I never knew men did that to their hair, I thought that was strictly a female style.  Just struck me as very strange, a simple bun would have been more fitting.

For Desiry to suggest to her gay lover's mom that they buy what they want, no limit........  after she was just told that mom is sonny's backer and is worried about her financial future?  Yeah, that conversation would naturally happen.

Right. The minute that came out of her mouth, I asked: 1) Is she dumb? 2) Is she on self-destruct? 3) Are the producers working overtime?

Reese. Really? Nonie's pal was so patient. Which was extra as Reese is old enough to have formulated a clue by now. But why should he? Momma nurtured and supported him somewhat (I missed if he was homeless previously). Nonie says she doesn't care about him making a lot of money, but her encouraging sentences include the idea that his entrepreneurial business would be a success (lucrative). So my guess is she knows, long-term, she won't respect him otherwise. 

What it is about that scraggly beard that is supposed to be appealing? He looks like a refugee from Homestead Rescue.

They don't 😄   I'm not sure what was going on there, other than them needing a storyline and that Clint (?) wanting his 5 minutes of fame on a basic cable reality show.  Reese likes cutting down trees so she's going to introduce him to a billionaire financier?  For what, exactly?

I believe he lived in his truck.  Which is also odd, considering how his mom and sisters all seem close to him as well as each other, and are all in his business - they don't have a couch in the basement for him to sleep on?  Nonie turns more into his mother every week.

I don't think BRI is the one who was surprised.  She had that exact concern and that's the reason she suggested seeing a fertility specialist (if we're to believe this storyline--any of the storylines).  It's BILL who was surprised (and mighty disappointed) at the results. He might just talk himself into trying to produce a baby simply because of that blow to his ego.  The second ex-wife (Kathleen?) is a beautiful woman...on the outside.  ONLY on the outside.  Talk about a gold digger; SHE's the one who is concerned about what happens to Bill's money after he dies--if he marries anyone else and (OMG!) has more children..

Yes I think Bill was in shock!

Reese is an Arbonnest?  Who knew?  I think Reese loved homelessness and wouldn't live on anybody's couch!  He does just want to skateboard through life!

Danni and Desiry should shop together!  They both have she popping rings and beautiful wardrobes.  I wonder if Desirys is real?  I also wonder if Rodney's mother is the company and he works for her!

Well, that conclusion was the predictable cheat on the Rodney/Desiry story.

Desiry needs to stay gone.  That relationship has no future.  Rodney is cheating on her and lying about his mom’s involvement in his life.  He is a momma’s boy and probably never will break that chain.

I am happy for Rick that he was able to get his love back.  Marriage may be years away.

Bill’s proposal was lovely but Bri is always going to have to look over her shoulder. If anyone is a gold digger, it is the ex-wife.  I cannot imagine the gall to tell someone they shouldn’t get married because the fiancée won’t help him socially.  I cannot imagine invoking his kids and what they might lose.  Sorry, she is projecting her own behavior on Bri. I am not sure that Bill is able to stand up to that vulture.

Reese did as good as he could.  Kudos to him.

I definitely feel cheated - we know the answer when Desiry asked him "who's the queen, Rodney????" Too bad he didn't answer! Call me crazy, but I kind of think Nonie & Reese and Rick & Erika are sweet together. I wouldn't mind seeing any of them next season.

"WHO'S THE QUEEN, RODNEY?"  Best line ever on this show.  And his mom saying how Rodney needs to learn more about himself before being in a relationship - isn't he in his forties?  😄   And we never learned who "the person" he cheated with is!  But apparently we learned that he's not the millionaire - his mom is!  They really should have ended this with Desiry deciding that SHE was the gay one and hitting on the mom to get the black card back 😄 

Bri and Bill making out in the pool - 🤢.  And if he and Kathleen are so important to each other, their children and the empire they created from nothing - they should have stayed married!  

I don't know why Erica's parents are so happy for her to waste her youth living with a geezer but outraged that she'd marry him 🤷‍♀️

I did end this series liking Reese - who knew?

And if he dies while they're simply boyfriend/girlfriend, she can't inherit what she would have as a wife.  She can't get the Social Security benefits she would have as a widow...but just butt in, "family."  Just don't go crying to Lifetime when she's left with nothing...but jewelry, a nice wardrobe, and cellulite.

I see it another way. Kathleen is out to protect HER inheritance and that of their children.  WHO is the golddigger here?  And... Bill will probably require a prenup before any marriage (Kathleen will HARP on that all night long).  He's a good enough guy that Bri and any children would be well taken care of.  Bri is probably smart enough to ask for her own legal representation.  I think his ego was crushed enough when he learned he had "low motility."  For a guy like Bill, that's temptation enough to cheat.

If Desiry is somewhat smart, she's already started to downsize after the first break-up.  Start with reducing her footprint, both financially and house-wise.  She's gotten used to a pretty high-falutin' way of living for someone running a non-profit.  If she doesn't want to end up like Jen Shah on RHOSLC, she needs to do a lot of work now. 

And she needs to block Rodney's number.

Well, she doesn't strike me as smart at all or she's just good at playing dumb. I didn't think she ran the non-profit, just worked for one, so I always picture her folding clothes at Goodwill.  I imagine she'll just latch onto the next rich sucker to come along.

Not that it matters, but did these people get to approve the picture of themselves that are used in the lead-ins? Because that one of her does her no favors.  This last episode she actually looked attractive with her hair style and usually that and her dress are very unflattering.

Hope we don't see her again with the next guy.

Yeah...and on screen she's described as a Non-Profit "Associate."  She probably puts the thrift-store clothing on the hangers and then puts them in size order.   EDITED TO ADD:  Oops, Cinsays.  I didn't notice your comment re Goodwill.  Brilliant minds, huh?

I stopped watching RH years ago...but had watched only Orange County, Beverly Hills, and New York.  Stuck with NY as long as I could.  I know nothing about the other cities...Ill have to look into a Jen Shaw.

I don't think it's necessarily a scam - it's just that heterosexual men would have either married or dumped her by now - she finds the one that's happy to go years without sex (although he did cheat with a "person") 😄😄 😄 😄

Well presumably Kathleen was with him before he had all of that, and based on that last conversation, there is still a lot of love and friendship between Kathleen and Bill. Bill obviously trusts her. I can completely see why she thinks Bri is a gold digger - I mean, look at Bill! Would Bri be with him if he didn't have all that money? Of course not! I read that Bill and Kathleen actually live across the street from each other so clearly they are still very close, and from Kathleen's perspective, Bri is probably closer in age to her and Bill's kids. She also has the knowledge of Bill's past behavior to inform her opinion of Bri. She might not have been particularly nice to Bri, but warning her that Bill's a cheater is not being mean to Bri - it's being honest. I do not for one minute believe Bill will be faithful to Bri long term. Kathleen has put up with Bill's nonsense for a long time, and of course she's going to prioritize her kids over anything to do with Bri. It's utterly ridiculous to think about Bill siring another child with Bri. He really doesn't seem like that is something he wants to do, except just to prove he can. But parenting this kid? No way.

Plus, Bill and Kathleen were married for 16 years. Kathleen earned every penny she has gotten!

Okay...it's "utterly ridiculous" to you--and maybe to the majority of viewers.  If Bri wants a baby with him, why interfere?  It's their lives: his sperm-ish, her "little body" that he loves so much.  I can't understand why we (and Kathleen) can't just live and let live.  Seems like there's plenty-o-money for everyone.  Kathleen doesn't look like she's on a budget.

...and apparently that's STILL not enough. They are divorced--probably protracted.  They had attorneys. There was a settlement.  She seems happy enough with HER living situation--but butts into Bri's. Kathleen is living well...very well--not to mention her little stipend (and ATTENTNION) from being a shirt-stirrer on TV.

Bill's net worth is supposedly $100 million, and that's the kind of money that keeps on growin'.  If Bill dies and leaves some sort of estate to Bri and any mini-Bri or mini-Bill, his ex-wives and children won't even notice.  Surely he (and especially Kathleen) have made sure they're all taken care of.
