callie lee 29 June 14, 2016 Share June 14, 2016 Yeah, I turned to watch last night and what the heck, not a new episode. After reading the description (and living 1hr away from Orlando), makes sense. Anyone know if it's a week delay? Link to comment

In terms of scheduling, TLS airs on Space (Canadian feed). Checking the schedule, only The Scott Effect is being aired on Sunday, not the second episode, but it might be different for others. If you are going to get the second episode also, please let me know!! I suspect that late episodes will be paired up for the season to catch up. Link to comment

Yes, energy break through and my first thought is, "That means half the first season would never have happened. No need to look for fuel." http://www.addictinginfo.org/2014/04/12/navy-ends-big-oil/ Something the authors of articles like this never take into account is the energy required to actually do this. A fleet with a nuclear carrier could produce fuel that way, with the carrier refuelling its escorts. But this wouldn't solve the problems faced in half the first series because Nathan James does not carry a means of generating electricity besides burning fuel. If you burn fuel to make fuel, you'll end up with less overall. And unless America shifts entirely to nuclear and solar (they've got the deserts for it) the process definitely would not be carbon neutral, because oil has to be burned in powerplants to make the energy that's used to make fuel from seawater. Sorry for responding two years after you posted this, but I felt it needed saying. 1 Link to comment
ottoDbusdriver July 22, 2016 Share July 22, 2016 (edited) It's bad enough that the world has gone to shit from the red flu, but now someone -- maybe Peng, maybe Takahaya -- decides that now is the time for chemical weapons of mass destruction. The NJ takes one on the chin because they were betrayed, and we get Chinese spies in the St. Louis White House -- come on. Has Elizabeth Rohm's character (I have no idea what her character's name is) seized power from the President as she appears to have all the regional governors behind her ? That will teach Michener for focusing solely on the NJ and Chandler. I have to admit it's awesome to see Tex again. Chandler and crew somehow get back to the US and hop a train ? And then join up with Tex ? Do they take the private jets ? Where did they get all the private jets from ? Let alone the fuel for said private jets ? Is that Sasha shooting up the President's office ? It's hard to tell, but maybe Sasha is working for Peng if that's true. Somehow Takahaya escapes and holds Miller hostage ? Or was that from last episode ? It's confusing because they keep intercutting clips from last episode into the trailer. Edited July 23, 2016 by ottoDbusdriver 1 Link to comment

BasilSeal August 4, 2016 Share August 4, 2016 Perhaps Chandler will be elected President in series 4, and when Greenland declares war on the US, (for some reason) President Chandler will parachute into Nuuk to personally lead the offensive whilst Slattery lays down covering fire with some tomahawk missiles. Seriously though, i'd put money on this show eventually making Chandler President, and still have him leading commando missions himself, Captain Kirk style. Link to comment

Chandler ventures far away, government shenanigans occur, and by the end of the season Chandler restores the U. S. of A. back to normal. Again. Link to comment
Lonesome Rhodes September 9, 2016 Share September 9, 2016 By doing this TNT is giving the showrunners a chance to slow down and develop much more better/realistic context. They can choose to be less popcorn and more substantial. Will they grab this opportunity???? 2 Link to comment

FnkyChkn34 July 5, 2017 Share July 5, 2017 I just discovered this show on Hulu, and binge watched all 3 seasons. There is some very nice eye candy here; no complaints at all on that front! Otherwise, it's a decent show, in my opinion, but very repetitive. I'm sure watching the episodes back-to-back-to-back didn't help this, but do there have to be so many gun fights in every single episode? Also, the actor who plays Wolf is a decorated martial artist, we get it. He doesn't need so many fight scenes in every episode either. I've loved Adam Baldwin since Chuck, so seeing him again is fantastic. He has the same smirks and grunts. :-) 1 Link to comment

xaxat July 23, 2017 Share July 23, 2017 Comic Con trailer. Still not feeling the fight club. I don't know about this season. I enjoyed the first two because of their portrayal of the professionalism and effectiveness of the US Navy in the face of extraordinary adversity. This doesn't feel like that at all. 2 Link to comment
FnkyChkn34 July 24, 2017 Share July 24, 2017 The "fight club" part probably won't last long. I give it one episode, two max, until Captain Chandler rejoins the team. Notice Lt. Green standing in the crowd at the fight at the end... 2 Link to comment

Chandler will be a big part of the plot, but he really shouldn't be part of the crew after he bailed on them (again) for his walkabout. I also find it hard to believe that Mike would tolerate Santa Claus length beards and nose rings for the crew. Link to comment

I also find it hard to believe that Mike would tolerate Santa Claus length beards and nose rings for the crew. I just referred to him as Capt. Chandler rather than saying Tom Chandler. He doesn't have to be an official member of the US Navy to "rejoin the team" in the sense I mean, either. (They had Tex, afterall - so not everyone has to be military.) But I just meant I don't think he stays alone for long, and we'll see him join back up with the rest of the cast for whatever mission they go on. Maybe at this point they have all quit the Navy and they are rogue vigilantes. But the appearance of Danny and Wolf in the crowd at the fight says to me that they were sent to go find Tom and bring him back. Link to comment
FnkyChkn34 July 31, 2017 Share July 31, 2017 Eric Dane co-hosted the last hour of the The Today Show this morning, and they asked him about season 4. They showed a little clip of a man coming to find him in Greece and telling him that the world needs him again. Then back around the chit chat table, one of the ladies asked him about his beard - or lack thereof. He said yeah, I'm back in the Navy now, and they like everyone clean shaven. So at the very least, he's back in the Navy by season 5. But he's also been clean shaven for a long time. 2 Link to comment
