Meanwhile, Greg takes a creative approach to parenting when he catches Taylor and Oliver in a lie. Edited April 30, 2019 by AnnaRose ETA: Airdate: April 30, 2019 Link to comment
Bobbin May 1, 2019 Share May 1, 2019 (edited) A class field trip is NOT the occasion to try to bond with your kid. Another hand-crafted gazebo bites the dust ("Meet the Parents"). This one seemed pretty shoddy, though, didn't it? I started to suspect that Greg was on to Taylor and Oliver as soon as his "treatments" became more bizarre -- and when the two boys were never seen again. I am just so over Katie's ridiculous behavior, though. 3 minutes ago, Bobbin said: Another hand-crafted gazebo bites the dust ("Meet the Parents"). This one seemed pretty shoddy, though, didn't it? OMG, I KNEW I saw that someplace else before, LOL. I suppose they made it shoddy because the principal made it, and he's such a dweeb. 4 Link to comment

Yeah, Ana-Kat for the win, but not only have they put Katie in her behavior of "I need to prove everyone wrong" to the negative side. They have really put the principal into a: "Who do you have pictures on or who are you friends with to be not only the principal, but to have kept his job." It's true, there are people in administration that are so micromanagement or along the lines of: "Just because you finished a degree DOES NOT MEAN you are a LEADER." However, in episodes like this it goes to far. If they revealed that his uncle or relative is on the town school board, then ok. However, he has constantly been shown to just do some very stupid things that not only put kids in danger, but would get parents railing to: "Get this moron out of the school!" 1 Link to comment

Yes, we did too! What Greg did was very clever. Katie, on the other hand, was clueless with the field trip. Katie's mom wasn't a great parenting role model, but you'd think Katie would have developed better parenting skills by now. And it could still be funny without being cringe-inducing. 4 Link to comment
theatremouse May 1, 2019 Share May 1, 2019 It was stupid to have tied a horse to the gazebo in the first place. Some people would use that method to intentionally down a structure that small so doing it here accidentally was inevitable. 2 Link to comment
iMonrey May 1, 2019 Share May 1, 2019 I thought the story with the kids faking sick (and Tripp totally not getting it) was pretty funny and I got a kick out of Taylor's ever growing hair. Sort of reminded me of that Friends episode where Monica's hair got bigger and bigger from the humidity. But yeah, the whole thing with Katie trying to bond with Ana Kat was just cringe-inducing. It seemed more like something she would do on purpose to embarrass her in front of her friends if she were trying to punish her for something, rather than something she's doing without realizing how mortifying it would be. She's a lot of things but not usually that dense. 10 Link to comment
AnnaRose May 1, 2019 Author Share May 1, 2019 I too liked the kids faking being sick and the nice parent teaching them a lesson. I laughed when they showed Greg finding the two boys - clueless Tripp behind the coat stand and Cooper B all wrapped up in a blanket in the basket. 😄 It was nice to see Greg get a win. Katie was perhaps even more over the top and cringe-worthy than usual. They really have to tone that down. 8 Link to comment
ams1001 May 1, 2019 Share May 1, 2019 I know it's a sitcom and all, but the lack of security in TV schools is kind of disturbing.... 2 Link to comment

I really think my favorite part of this episode was those boys' hiding places. They must've been a treat to play hide and seek with as children. 😂 2 7 Link to comment
