Starting this with my usual, I can’t stand Mykelti disclaimer.

Is this ridiculous or is it just me?

Instagram link isn’t working. They have 3 sick kids for a few days now. So Mykelti is hanging out in their sun room with them. Once in a while she can get them to eat something. They have “low energy”. But, they like coloring on the walls.

I get a blank screen when I click the link?? Is it because I am not on Instagram?

No, I couldn’t get it to link correctly.

It sort of looks like she put paper up there for them to color on. However I noticed that the scribbles extend beyond the top of the paper.  I hope they are using washable markers.

I foresee this setting a very bad precedent!! Letting them color on the walls is not going to be so "cute" when they do it unsupervised with permanent markers!!

YUP!

Those kids are still so little, too. They lack impulse control. If you had a room where you used a special wall covering material (like whiteboard, or that chalkboard paint), and the kids were older, you could tell them, "This is the room where you get to color on the walls," but you cannot expect toddlers to understand why the rules change at the doorway.

Ah well. She'll learn.

The link worked for me. It took me to this:

When I clicked on that, it took me to the video.

(cue little Athrax hanging on Kody's legs and screaming...)

I do get the temptation, but Ariella is a little girl.

She is only eight years old, now. It's not her fault that she would be better off, had she been raised by wolves. That's on Kody and Robyn, not the kid.

I wish we could take it easy on the kids — especially the minor children (Truely, Sol, and Ari), who have no say on whether or not their lives are televised.

She's been called worse. I can only think of her as Areola.  And wonder if she's still walking around with her pacifier.

Last season was the first that I saw her without her pacifier.

It's a JOKE. Everyone jokes around by changing her name on this board. And the part about her hanging on Kody's legs was a reflection on Robyn's parenting, not the child, and it was specifically mentioned on the show. Geez.

Can't even make a joke without getting called out on what a terrible person you are.

I know it's a joke. And hey look, I don't think you're a terrible person, at all. I started my post with, "I get the temptation," to acknowledge that I understand how people feel about what we're shown on screen.

It wasn't the part about the legs that moved me to post about it. It was seeing an adult call a little girl "Anthrax."

I just wish that we, as a group, would be more gentle about the minor children. That's all. There are only three of them. We hardly see them, in comparison to how much we saw the older kids, back in the early seasons of this show.
