Not a regular watcher but Uh Sabrina , maybe Jeremiah doesn’t want to hire a  heroin addict jailbird ?.

Being around Jeremiah for a long period must be rough . He’s low dose

Lowell thinking he could be a model..... adorable ?

Jeremiah is gross I can't watch this if he is the focus of the show. I don't want to post what may be considered spoilers but he is a real piece of work and belongs in jail. Mary just wants to be on TV she is insufferable. Glad to see Rebecca and Abe took a cue from Kate and stayed far away from this mess.

I can't believe they regurgitated this series for another spin. So who in the "faux' Mennonite community hasn't dated Shelly ? The one girl who left her husband clearly has not been Amish or Mennonite for a while if her husband was dressing like that. Lowell a model ? Not with that wonky dead tooth. Mary loved the spotlight so much so I seriously doubted she will refrain from cameras, either she is shopping for her own show or realized this series is done. Last season I took a drink every time Carmella said cult and seriously considered checking myself into Betty Ford on Monday morning, thankfully this week it was only said once so thank you Carmella,  & my liver thanks you. I would not eat a donut from Jerimiahs stand, the fryer oil probably gets changed as often as he goes to a dentist.

Although watching Jeremiah is revolting, this episode wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.  From the coming attractions, though, I doubt I'm going to continue to feel that way.  I can actually understand how Mary feels torn because she has kids and grandkids that are both Amish and "English".  I can also understand how Jeremiah would feel upon losing her, although I find it hard to believe that Mary's going to stick with it.  It seems like he has another "mother figure" in the donut lady, but I doubt he'd ever have the same kind of relationship with her.  It looks like Abe and Rebecca did the right thing and got out of this mess for the sake of their family.  I don't blame them.  I want to take a shower after just watching Jeremiah and Sabrina on TV.  I can only imagine how depressing it is to be with them in person.  When they were arguing at the table I thought that the older women would not have put up with that if not for the TV cameras.

I get that “reality” shows aren’t actually reality but it was obvious nearly every scene was plotted out and planned prior to filming. So random Amish people are going to allow themselves to be filmed in barns and while partying?

I used to feel sorry for Sabrina but I think a part of her enjoys the drama of her life being out of control. That way, she can blame everyone else for all her problems. I would put money on her being high in that scene at the breakfast. She has a problem with everyone other than Mary. Everyone on this show has issues but they are at least trying moving forward with their lives. Sabrina only seems to do two things, get high and spend time in jail. I think she is jealous that the others on the show have more going on in their lives.

I've watched most of the prior seasons.  Mary was a good influence and while she has her reasons for 'going back' the show will be worse without her.

Jeremiah is a dumb paolook but there is something about him, whether wearing his emotions on his sleeve or whatever, that I hold out a slight hope he may yet get to be a good man/husband/friend etc.  He at least proves to be what a bad example is for Amish/Menn. leaving.

However, I have NO IDEA why selling Amish Donuts fair to fair is a smart idea.  How much money is involved in this, what is the business plan?  The more labor you have the lower the profits (for a a given sales base at any fair).  You would think between Carmela and Jeremiah someone could come up with a better livelihood.

Also, could not believe (but seems true) Carmela taking the $15k.  I don't bother with SM for this show, so was news to me.

I miss Rebecca's snarkiness though :)

he's one to be lecturing Sabrina about her kids! And no being adopted is not the worse thing in the world-most adopted kids go on to have a great life. I agree with that Sabrina  giving up her kids may have been the best for them in her case.

My close friend was adopted and once he met his birth mother he fully understood and was really happy that she gave him up. His adoptive parents are wonderful.

awesome. Some times its the most loving thing a mother can do.
