The Clothing Thread: What The Heck Are They Wearing?

Had a houseguest so I'm a little behind in my viewing, but WHY is everybody in the midwest, in the middle of winter, all walking around with no coats?  And most of the younger women are wearing light summer dresses.  I know they had no way of knowing that this particular winter was going to be extra cold and extra snowy but to simply have everyone walk around like it's summer is a really bad costume decision.

This is probably mean to say, but maybe they have been injected with embalming fluid so they don’t feel the cold. Of course, I don’t say this based on their acting. I base my opinion on the writing.
