dubbel zout May 28, 2018 Share May 28, 2018 Kimmy and Titus spend the weekend binge-watching TV and getting their nails done. Jacqueline schemes to evict her wealthy subletter. Link to comment
txhorns79 May 31, 2018 Share May 31, 2018 I feel like I've seen the Teri Polo/Aisha Tyler/Lindsey Price joke before. Did Fey do it on SNL or 30 Rock? 2 Link to comment

I'm pretty sure it was on 30 Rock...I think she saw it on a plane? I can't imagine what else it could have been in. 2 Link to comment

It's in the season 5 episode Double-Edged Sword, when the plane to Nag's Head never takes off. 2 Link to comment
tennisgurl May 31, 2018 Share May 31, 2018 (edited) "ALL lives matter Titus!" "...Context, I’ll allow it." Why does Al Goreism make so much sense? The Sex and the City knockoff that turned into a white privilege story was a weird variation of when this show seems to be doing material that was relevant in the 90s (like the out of nowhere OJ trail references in the first season) and then trying to fit it into a story for modern audiences. Not sure if it works, but its kind of interesting to see. Edited May 31, 2018 by tennisgurl 1 Link to comment
Enginerd May 31, 2018 Share May 31, 2018 Al Gore Rhythm to explain how Netflix (or whatever almost-Netflix they were using) decides what to recommend was pretty funny. 9 Link to comment
mtlchick June 1, 2018 Share June 1, 2018 A crack towards Jenny McCarthy will always be awesome to me, show. 7 Link to comment
ElectricBoogaloo June 2, 2018 Share June 2, 2018 Man, Cheryl knows how to have a good time! The Al Gore Rhythm was hilarious. Murder movies are white lady porn! And of course a rich white guy without any talent or experience (bonus: named Tripp) just swans in and becomes an actor. Heh, his very short song did make me laugh. It's been a long time since I heard anyone called a peehole. 1 Link to comment
Kel Varnsen June 2, 2018 Share June 2, 2018 Was Kimmy wearing a Cruella DeVille coat? Because that is kind of awesome. Link to comment
helenamonster June 2, 2018 Share June 2, 2018 Al Gore Rhythm. I will never experience the internet the same way again. "I was trying to impress Jenny McCarthy, and the worst part is, it worked!" *Jenny McCarthy calls Jacqueline* I cackled. Also because wasn't Jenny McCarthy Jenna's nemesis on 30 Rock? And the archetype Jenna was based on? Thank you to the people who reminded me where I'd seen that Sex and the City parody before! And wasn't it also lampooning that short-lived NBC show Lipstick Jungle the first time it was used? The guy who played Tripp was Shawn Eckhardt in I, Tonya! This show does amazing visual gags as well. Before they first go into the nail salon, Kimmy and Titus were shopping at The Salvation Coast Guard. 7 Link to comment
starri June 2, 2018 Share June 2, 2018 The smash cut to Jacqueline's clone writhing on the couch wailing "Whose memories ARE these?" was legit one of the funniest things this show has done. 12 Link to comment
Empress1 June 2, 2018 Share June 2, 2018 (edited) That Al Gore Rhythm joke was amazing. How has no one made it before?! “You know I do not get up at times.” I LOVE Titus. Like @mtlchick, I’m always here for a dig at Jenny McCarthy. Edited June 2, 2018 by Empress1 6 Link to comment
