I think they are asking for double, hoping to get half. Half ($3million) would only just settle their debts & assist with moving.

It doesn't matter what they paid for their house. It's what the market value of the house currently is. Houses here in SE Florida tripled in value since they were bought (not long ago).

They won't get this amount, but they might get enough to repay their debt, and have a little bit of profit on top. But they won't be able to buy a house similar to this, or maybe any house because the real estate prices are high. That's what happens when one doesn't think of the future, and is a gambling addict. Was Kroy's contract fully guaranteed? The vast majority of football contracts are not. If Kroy's was not, he didn't receive this amount. He also became injured at one point. Judging by the lack of money, and the borrowing against the house immediately after it was purchased, I would say he didn't have over 15 million. The couple was lucky to have their own reality show for 8 years. But, yes, they (mostly her) spent/wasted ungodly amounts of money.

I think Kim entered the marriage with decidedly less money than Kroy. But Kim was happy having babies and being mom. When Kroy got injured, their TV series helped supplement his lack of income. Kim still kept spending as if they both were still in football and on tv. But Kim also seems to believe she'll always be employable, or at least find money, which doesn't make anyone close to her, feel secure.

Wow. There is a lot of police body camera footage out there for anyone who wants to see it because the police were at their property for some time. Just to be clear, for anyone who hasn't seen or heard the video clip that is most often being reported, Kroy screams & waves his arms:
