WhitneyWhit October 1 Share October 1 I just finished listening on Spotify and if I’m being honest I have sort of mixed feelings on her memoir and story. Link to comment

I started listening yesterday and Ina does read it which is wonderful. Love hearing her voice and inflections. It's very good so far (it's over 8 hours total). I bought it on Audible and there's an accompanying PDF which has photos and recipes -- I downloaded it for future use. 2 Link to comment
EtheltoTillie October 3 Share October 3 I read the New Yorker article a few weeks ago and listened to Ina on Fresh Air. Publicity machine in full force. I probably won't bother with the whole book. To the extent they are promoting sales, that method does not work on me. Link to comment
chessiegal October 3 Share October 3 Not only is Ina wearing a ring, she's also wearing a watch and bracelet in the cover photo. She doesn't wear jewelry when she's cooking on the show. I "met" Ina at a book signing. I don't remember anything about jewelry, but I was struck by how perfect her hair and make-up were, as in her make-up was so subtle and understated. The other thing I remember is how gracious she was to everyone. Here's a picture I took while waiting in line. You can't see her left hand. 2 2 Link to comment

RealityCheck November 29 Share November 29 Ina Garten gives a masterclass on the art of hosting Thanksgiving dinner. This audio-only. Ina sounded pretty relaxed. Link to comment
