I have reached the point where watching this show is a chore. I think, "I have a dentist appointment on Thursday," or "I have to clean out the litter box." Add to that, "I have to watch the Walking Dead tonight." Yeah, I know - I could just skip it, but I have this OCD, mental thing going on, where I have to find out what happens after investing all this time in this thing. I just feel that if I don't watch, something will actually happen and I'll miss it. As if. I need therapy.

Most of an episode of Negan's monologuing vs Eugene's deadpan monotone delivery.  God, makes a person want to cry - and not happy tears - when thinking of what awaits.

Hostiles and Calamities... is this a TWD episode or the title of an ACME cartoon episode?  There better be a Savior with a nickname of 'Wily Coyote' to make it ironically perfect.

I'm in the same boat, when Negan is around - which, unfortunately, is a lot now.  But when there's an episode he's not in, I could watch that thing all day long.

Yeah, I thought Negan was bad until we saw the people who have forgotten how to speak within a few years. And on that topic, when was the last time we saw Rick grinning like an an idiot while being surrounded and threatened by hostile strangers?

I kept reading the episode title as "Hostiles and Calamites".  That could have been fun...an invasion by gigantic previously-extinct sentient vegetation.  It would fit with what was originally supposed to be dystopian science fiction.  But, alas, what could have been has become a show that has nothing to do with zombies, or hostile power-mad military scientists whose genetically-engineered virus destroys the planet.  Screw the zombie apocalypse, let's have Negan monologue us to death instead.

Me too! I used to like Daryl when he had a personality and was snarky and crabby. "Lassie Come Home" Daryl, nuzzling into everyone's shoulders (and I'm surprised no one has protested due to his filth) makes me sick.
