Ms Blue Jay October 17, 2016 Share October 17, 2016 Weird fetish ;) I guess I should watch Wonderfalls. 1 Link to comment
arc October 17, 2016 Share October 17, 2016 I think the most about My Name Is Earl with this show: protagonist who used to be horrible and is trying to be better but barely even knows how. (And as a further tangent, the funniest nickname I ever saw for Samantha Who - a show with a similar kind of setup - was "My Name Is Girl".) 3 Link to comment

He also did Hannibal! 16 hours ago, SoothingDave said: Dead girl with a boy's name. Sort of a signature move. Yeah. George, Jaye, and Chuck. Chuck was a great character. Every episode of Pushing Daisies put a smile on my face by the time it was over. Just thinking about it now puts a big smile on my face. 2 Link to comment
Traveller519 October 18, 2016 Share October 18, 2016 Regarding the language in porn issue, I would just assume the language is auto-cleansed like when the individuals try to curse. And now I'm laughing at how absurd that would sound: "Fork my patsy, fork my patsy, fork my patsy! Yeahhhhhh!" "You like that drip, bench?" 7 Link to comment

"You like that drip, bench?" Huh. I would've thought the real words would be more offensive, but no. A man asking whether I liked his drip (and comparing me to a bench) would actually be worse. 4 Link to comment
Cowgirl October 19, 2016 Share October 19, 2016 I agree that this show is very reminiscent of Pushing Daisies --which was my all-time-favorite show! I was SO angry when they forking canceled it. The Good Place is now a happy spot in my week. 7 Link to comment
JustaPerson November 7, 2016 Share November 7, 2016 (edited) Why is Chidi still calling Jason JianYu when he knows his real name? In private ofc, not in public. Edited November 7, 2016 by JustaPerson Link to comment
theatremouse November 7, 2016 Share November 7, 2016 (edited) Spent more time calling him the fake name and is still more used to it? Plus not everyone else knows so better to stick with the lie so he doesn't accidentally out him? Edited November 7, 2016 by theatremouse 3 Link to comment
aradia22 August 18, 2019 Share August 18, 2019 I'm not totally convinced that they know where they're going but I appreciate that this show has at least put in some research about ethics and philosophy. There's something grounding it. I've gotten invested in too many shows that didn't seem to have an end game. "Made in Taiwan." "Let's keep our eyes peeled for twigs that may have a nefarious agenda."
