It really does:( her midsection and her upper arms kind of. She is in NOOO way "large" at all but definitely a little heavier than last year

 

Surprised K&J let her shoot and didn't give her a weight watch warning?

Yeah the pulling down bottoms or tugging at tops just looks trashy.

 

Totally agree ... not sure why Kelli (the self-proclaimed queen of what's classy) would keep having the girls do that.  It looks more like a Playboy shoot than swimsuit.  Not classy at all.  And sorta gross

On the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders FB page, there is a video of Jennifer doing the first live chat video.  She is so poised and professional when she speaks, no wonder they love her as an ambassador.  

 

She really is ... I think that's why they love her.  She's super articulate (you could tell when she was talking during her rookie audition) and she just seems like a very friendly and approachable girl.  Granted a very pretty girl.  She also is very active on social media and seems to always partake in a lot of DCC activities

Haha glad I found another on her team. She seems super nice, I don't get the dislike. She's one of the only girls who interacts with people on twitter.

She's adorable and she and Jenn K are the most responsive to me on twitter.  I think she's a great dancer albeit over the top in some of those dance clips.  Hey, girl knows she's awesome lol

I love Jennifer!! She is a great ambassador for the DCC!! Love that she wants to be a mom and maybe a History professor in the future. I didn't know her husband is a pilot.

I didn't know he was a pilot either! So cool!! She will be a great mom.  It only makes me sad that if she has kids right away after retiring she may not get involved with the DCC organization.  I keep crossing my fingers she will do a Megan Fox type job and stick around in some capacity.

The triangle for this seems to have Jennifer K in point with Melissa and Jenna on either side! I would love it if they put Jenna there for games! Maybe she is not too short after all??? It doesn't seem like all the girls are in the formation though so who knows.

The girls in the video looks like the Show Group reauditioning girls. Do not know if the is how the triangle will look for the 2016-2017 season.

 

You're right - Bess says in her video for the IG account that it's SG.  Where is Erica tho?

Does anyone know if the girls have to purchase all their uniforms, rehearsal attire, game day sweats etc themselves? There are tons of different outfits and warm up gear I've seen over the course of the show and I wondered if that all was out of pocket. That could get really expensive! I realize they probably are expected to also keep their hair and nails, a tan as well all year whiff I understand but paying for a new outfit for each event could get so costly.

I read in an article not too long ago that either Jacie or Danielle said their hair is paid for and so are their tanning memberships. As for nails, I have no idea, but those are huge expenses that are taken care of!

There are ten girls in the video. Danielle did a live facebook video chat earlier. She is adorable. Sad news is she said her fifth year will be her last.

 

yeah ... 5 years is a lot to put your body through and the time commitments.  You're only in your 20s once so might as well leave some time to enjoy it.  It is like a second job but stricter and with more rules.  I'm also curious what these girls do after DCC though (if they aren't married with kids).  I wish they would do a post DCC special

All of their attire and equipment (poms, props, bags, etc) are provided by the DCC organization and they have to return it at the end of each season. I don't know if they have to return footwear, though.

I remember someone (who claimed to be in the know) back in the TWOP days wrote that beauty treatments are comped, but they are expected to tip and send a thank you note.

 

Jinelle's figure is just amazing to me - she is so ripped but still looks so feminine!

Do we know if Jinelle is "enhanced"? If she isn't, she has a very unusual and rare body type. You don't see too many women as lean as that, where what little body fat they have is all concentrated in the bust. Not that there's anything wrong with buying boobs if you want them.

I don't think Jinelle has breast implants. That body type isn't as uncommon as you would think. I went to high school with a girl who was a ballet dancer, completely teeny but she had enormous breasts (bigger than Jinelle). She is a professional dancer now and opted for a reduction a couple years out of high school.

With that said, Jinelle's body fat isn't completely concentrated in her chest. She's willowy but she still has curves in her hips. Her chest just doesn't look or move like it's fake.

I do. Kelli told her "welcome to the club" of girls w/ DD breats (or some larger cup size) and then Kelli talked about how rare it was to see someone like Jinelle who is so thin but has such large natural breasts.

Of the current DCCs one of them who has very noticeably fake breasts is Chantel. They creep me out.

Yeah, I'm 99% sure Jinelle is natural.  She is just genetically blessed in that department LOL (she is super fit and healthy though - I know she keeps a very clean diet and all kinds of workouts ... yoga/zumba/etc.)  

 

Lovvvveddd Danielle's chat!! She is the cutest ever.  Will miss her on the team so much but I'm not surprised she is stopping at 5 years.  I really think she will move back to NY/NJ sooner than later. I'm pretty sure I saw on her IG that she is an aunt now so that has to be hard to be far away.  I kind of loved all the questions she got on CMT and the show and if she watches it hahaha I would pay $$$ to sit with her during a few episodes and find out which ones she can't watch because of bad memories or what really went on behind the scenes!!

Just showed Jenn K opening the show. She is in no way soft, yet still did not look good in that suit. The cut of the bottoms was all wrong for her.

Why can't they bring someone in to style these girls?

Danielle's suit was even less flattering than Jenny Kat's :-P Jinelle looks amazing but she is so teeny she really could wear anything. KaShara looks pretty good too. She is just so dang pretty. 

 

How can you tell who is who in that number? The blonde messing up was obvious and I know Jennifer is in the center but I couldn't see anything too obvious with her....i believe y'all but the video is so small lol

There has been a few pictures and one video of Kat. Whose bright idea was to use beach balls and cowboy boots and knee high boots. It reminds me of Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman. A little trashy especially when Kelli wants to promote the girls as All American. Lacey and Amy L look amazing. The girls look great, but the swimsuit selection leaves a lot to be desired.

After watching the fashion show, I agree that Caila looks fine.  She is thicker, but it seems more muscle-y than fat.  Simone, however, looks like she's gonna be in big trouble.  We know they weren't thrilled with her during training camp, and she just barely made it and NOW she's put on weight.  I'd be shocked if she's not cut.

I agree! Caila definitely just looks muscular, not heavy. But yes, Simone does look soft

Where are the heavy Simone pics?? I don't think she is ripped like some of the girls but she does not look alarmingly soft to me? I don't think she looks any different from last year. I guess I need to try to watch some of the video of her walking.  I still get her confused with Jessica sometimes lol

I felt like Danielle was kind of evasive on that question. It seemed like she was not sure if she should say she was going for five years or not. I know there's no written rule that says they can't do more than five but is it an unspoken rule? I know Sydney did more than five but I'm curious.

They don't do it based on seniority..I think we've seen that in past years. It has all to do with dance-ablilty and showmanship (in my opinion)..who pops..who stands out. Had that been the case, Sydney would have been close to or at point for at least 3 of her last years.

 

In terms of your other question, I think that the girls who don't go past 5 even though the love it are likely just..ready to move on. It is taxing, but after a while, I'm guessing they just want to move on.

Amy T is about the same as she was when she joined the squad (from what I can see) and I know on IG last year around tryouts she thanked her trainers and said her body had never looked or felt better.  I think what you see it what you get with her, kind of like with Alex Hermes; she's never going to be skinny like Jinelle no matter what she does.  I'll be surprised if they cut her for weight since it wasn't an issue for them last year but who knows!

I hope they let it go, I think she's a good role model for young girls that you don't always have to be super thin to make the squad, especially if you have other skills and characteristics which make up for it! I think she's a talented, beautiful girl on the dancefloor and in the classroom! :) And I can see how she would appeal to male fans!

I finally watched the videos of the swimsuit show. Snark alert, but at least I'll do it all in one post ;).

Amy T clearly the biggest - if anyone should be cut for weight/size it should be her. From the waist down she looks like a normal person in their late 20's/early 30's, not a DCC.

Caila definitely not as big as she has been photographing lately - but she's certainly looked much more fit and thin in the past. It could go either way with her at auditions.

Raylee softer and bigger than I thought. Jenn K. kind of soft and bigger in the middle like the photos have been showing. I don't think either of these are cut-worthy situations though.

Jax has extremely short legs compared to her torso and her upper thighs are on the big side. She must really be able to dance well cause I don't get how she made the squad in the first place w/ a figure like that.

Danielle looked fine.

Kat looked too thin. Rookie Amy is built like a boy, and rookie Megan is kind of masculinely built too, but not as bad as I thought.

The rest of them looked amazing - like flawlessly amazing - which IMO is how a DCC should look.

Stephanie still looks too broad up top. Idk if it's just the way she was built but she still looks like a bodybuilder, especially when she does that pose.

 

eta: was this a new dance? Some of the girls didn't look like they knew what they were doing.

It would be so interesting to see how fans react if Caila or Amy T are cut for weight...they are both fan favorites with men, ESPECIALLY Caila.   I will just be really surprised if they cut Amy T for weight this year when truly I cannot see a weight gain from last year.  I think it'll be really cruel of them to suddenly be like, just kidding, you're too heavy for DCC but stranger things...LOL  

 

The only two I really see on the bubble are Jax or Simone, mainly because they were kind of iffy before (Jax on looks and Simone on skill) and I cant tell if either have made big enough improvements. Will prob depend on how great new comers are. Maybe Claire too but only because I literally know NOTHING about her (though I think she is so pretty). I will say I am liking Raylee and Amy L a lot now...they kind of flew under the radar for me before but they seem to really be coming into their own.

 

Eee!! I can't believe it's like a month away now!!
