Fireball February 21, 2021 Share February 21, 2021 (edited) I haven't watched all the seasons of GBB; I'm up to collection 4 on Netflix. It seems to me like Nadiya life has been changed the the most from being on the show. I've lost count how many shows etc. she's been on. Edited February 21, 2021 by Fireball Link to comment
aradia22 April 13, 2021 Share April 13, 2021 I've been making my way through her two Netflix shows. They don't have quite the same chill of GBBO but they are still very pleasant and have a similar aesthetic appeal. Nadiya's shows are just a bit more colorful and Pinterest-y. Sometimes her recipes are great and sometimes they don't really appeal to me. She tends to lose me on the more British recipes (I don't care if it's a cheat trifle, I still don't want trifle) and the stuff that has a slightly more chaotic Sandra Lee Semi-Homemade vibe. Like everything with pre-made croissants so far. I do think she makes a wonderful host. I hope she'll stay natural and not get too Food Network-y. Even youtube people can sometimes try to turn on this weird on-camera personality. But anyway, I'm mostly loving both shows so far. I just wish so many recipes didn't have stuff that's hard to get here like double cream, caster sugar, and clotted cream. Those little jars of clotted cream that are just a few ounces are like $8 at Whole Foods. I only buy them for scones. 4 Link to comment
AZChristian October 2, 2021 Share October 2, 2021 (edited) Our local PBS has just started re-running Nadiya's season on Saturdays. Now I get the new season Friday on Netflix, and a re-run season on Saturday. Can't wait to see Paul's lion-head bread!!! Edited October 3, 2021 by AZChristian Clarity 5 Link to comment

I always thought her facial expressions were OTT and attention-seeking. Um, when you screw up your face, pop your eyes, and cover your mouth with your hand during the judging of the technical challenge, which is supposed to be anonymous, you kind of give away which bake is yours... SnapHappy October 4, 2021 Share October 4, 2021 (edited) She was my LEAST liked contestant from that season and she was so thirsty for that attention! I can't stand the fact that she won. I have to immediately switch over to the finale of the following season just to get the bad taste out of my mouth, literally! Edited October 4, 2021 by SnapHappy Link to comment

Nadiya's season (know as Season 3 in the US) started airing on July 1st with the finale on August 19th. With a whole lot of variations at the discretion of individual PBS stations. What is our Season 3 known as in the UK -- and on this forum? Thanks. Link to comment

oldCJ October 15, 2021 Share October 15, 2021 She was a guest on The Ranganation this week. I found her to be very laid back and relatable, much more fun than other times I’ve seen her on shows. Link to comment
Cetacean October 27, 2021 Share October 27, 2021 I have been enjoying the reruns of Nadiya's British Food Adventures on the Canadian station I get. They are from years ago but she has some tasty sounding things and goes off on adventures around foods. Today she went out to catch crab and it was her first time on a boat! There was a recipe that made me drool that had a tart shell made of crisps - potato chips to we Yanks. It looked so scrummy. And I had to chuckle when she said that "of your kids don't get enough chocolate or crisps, this recipe is for you". 3 Link to comment
Aulty November 15, 2021 Share November 15, 2021 Nadiya has a new show, Nadiya's Fast Flavours, out on the BBC / iPlayer. I am sure, like the others, it will eventually make its way onto streaming. Its her usual, very entertaining, mix of quirky and flaversome - the woman kicks off her show with Wotsits crumbled into Mac and Cheese 😅 2 Link to comment
