wanderingstar July 25, 2016 Share July 25, 2016 Quote Ghost deals with loose ends before tangling with some new nightlife competition. Tommy confronts Tash, who must learn to coexist with Angela. Later, Tommy finds an adviser in a former lover. Tommy may be a dummy, but Joseph Sikora was really good in this ep. Angela being awkward with Jamie's kids was amusing, but I am still bored by her and Jamie's relationship. I buy his bond with Tommy way more than the so-called true love with Angela. I feel bad for Tasha. She needs another purpose. Curious to see how she'll be working with Tommy and Holly. 5 Link to comment
Empress1 July 25, 2016 Share July 25, 2016 Why would Holly go to the bank to deposit a check that isn't hers? And is she even using her real name? Didn't she have to use a fake one when she left town? At least she knows she's too dumb to handle the money. And Tommy is (sing it if you know it!) dumb and crazy, so they need Tasha. And Tasha needs some shit to do (although the smarter thing to do would be to do the books at Lala's salon, but Tasha is definitely about that life). 2 Link to comment

She stole Tasha's earrings and had the balls to wear them right in front of her. Holly really has to have some type of purpose besides being nosy and annoying. We've been bouncing around the idea that's she a deep undercover fed and I'm still holding out hope that that's the case. Kudos to the show for not making Tasha the stereotypical scorned woman who's withholding the kids from their father. I was glad when she told Angela that when she got Ghost she got his kids, too. Tariq, though! "That tv way too small." Ghost should've checked him for that. Then again, when you go from your penthouse apartment to seeing how actual people with jobs live, it's considered a comedown. 3 Link to comment
Joimiaroxeu July 25, 2016 Share July 25, 2016 You almost want to feel sorry for Tommy. James is like his blood. But seriously, who is Holly and what is she up to? I'm not so sure anymore she's an undercover agent because a) she semed too shocked and confused about the bank stuff, and b) she probably wouldn't be encouraging Tommy to kill Ghost. Saxe should suspect Mike now, right? I think he''s the only he told beforehand about that prisoner who got stabbed to death before Saxe could meet with him. I can't believe James has got his kids up in that tiny bachelorette apartment in sleeping bags on the floor. Can't he afford to get a house or at least a bigger place so the kids could have bedrooms? He's pretty much ensuring that they'll resent Angela for the downgrade in their lifestyle. Hope one of the kids isn't going to end up getting shot with James' gun. Tasha will lose her mind and she's already on the edge as it is. Re the previews, did we know Kanan is still alive? I guess since it's 50's show he can't be killed off, heh. 3 Link to comment

Good size, doorman building. Her rent is thousands. It's small for two adults and three kids, but I guarantee you there are thousands of families of five living in places that size in NYC. 3 minutes ago, Joimiaroxeu said: Re the previews, did we know Kanan is still alive? At the end they showed the door in the building and it revealed that the lock was broken, letting us know he'd escaped. 2 Link to comment
Zeebreezy July 25, 2016 Share July 25, 2016 I don't know what it is, But this season is kind of boring me. I'm not glued to the tv like I was the previous seasons. I'm on my phone and missing certain things in the episode. But like someone mentioned upthread, What is Holly's deal?! Anyone with half a brain knows that you cant just deposit a large check without some protocols to follow. The fact that she has been using sex to distract Tommy and his dumbass doesn't see it gets on my nerves!! I don't know if she really loves him or has some ulterior motive. And in regards to Tommy, I get it. you cant stand Ghost and want to kill him for the things he's done to you but at the end of the day he used to be your best friend so its hard to forget all the years of friendship. I know because my best friend and I no longer speak after 7 years of friendship and I know she is not a good friend to me or for me but I miss her sometimes. Anyhoo, I think I need to just binge watch the episodes toward the end of the season because so far this season isn't doing anything for me. 4 Link to comment
Marigny July 26, 2016 Share July 26, 2016 1.) I don't think Holly is an informant for the Feds. The fact that she even implied that she knows who Ghost is and is not was telling. I think she's so dang eager to belong to something/somebody that she is taking advantage of Tommy's feelings for her and overstepping a lot. 2.) The honeymoon phase is starting to fade and real life is settling in for Ghost & Angela and both of them know it. The fake sleeping that both of them did at the beginning and end of the episode told it all. Angela signed up for red carpet events, sex whenever/wherever without interruption, dinner for two every night and traveling to exotic places at the drop of a hat. She did not sign up for all that comes with being a step parent & Ghost running off at all hours of the night while expecting her to be cool with it. The only thing that was missing from Tasha's conversation with her was "Get ready to find out just what it took to make the grass on the other side of the fence so green." 3.) I have a feeling the baby will get her hands on that gun and will get hurt. Since it's Angela's gun, it will be mighty hard to cover this up. Pandora's Box will will bust wide open. I'm not for that baby getting hurt but I'm here to watch Angela lose it all. 5 Link to comment

Yup, those two are living out their high school fantasy. As Tasha told her, "when you chose him, you got them." It's easy to fool around when he's a part-time father. It's only a matter of time before she realizes that she isn't about that life. The fact that she has to start carrying around a gun should tell her that she's in over her head. Holly is the weakest link of the show. I could tolerate her if she were Tasha lite. Someone smart and observant. But as it stands for now, she's just an annoying as fuck thief. 6 Link to comment
MV713 July 26, 2016 Share July 26, 2016 Hate Holly - was hoping she was bloodied on the floor not the poor dog :( Tariq snooping around the bedroom and just happened to open the case with the gun? Like this kid has never seen a gun living with Ghost and Tasha? Please... They better not kill off Julio... 6 Link to comment

She is the worst character on this show Funny, my husband gave up on this show because there is no one to rot for, and I racked my brain trying to come up with one (besides poor Belle), and all I could muster is Canaan. I hope he gets his revenge on backstabbing Ghost and Tasha. Angela needs her comeuppance, and Tommy is an idiot hothead, who needs to be killed by a rival gang, pref the Chinese. Loved when the son called him on insulting them by speaking Japanese. Julio please kill Holly for Tommy's continued failure to act. 1 Link to comment

What makes you think Tasha won't be handling the books at Lala's salon? I know its not the same as the laundry mats or Truth, but I feel that salon is gonna factor in somehow. AND, Angela gives money regularly to her sister, pays for their father's care, and I believe she's paying someone's tuition (I think her nephew). So the fact that she can afford to do all that and still live in a nice apartment with a doorman, she's making MORE than just a comfortable wage. I agree with the poster upthread, 2 episodes in and Im not impressed. Last season, every week I would re-watch the previous episode because it was that good. Now I watch it because I just dont even remember what happened, and I know I was distracted. Im just holding out the hope the show is building up to something for later in the season.
