Now claiming it's not fair since Burton got to come back 2 hours ago, YaddaYadda said: Say what you want about Steve and I've said plenty, he didn't burn his bridges. He thanked the show, moved on to Days, came back when GH invited him back. The end. I'm not necessarily supporting Ingo's suit, but if memory serves, Ingo also brought Burton's Mona Vie pyramid scheme to light. But I'm sure no one ever had any long-standing animus toward him for saying or doing something that could potentially cause embarrassment for the higher ups. </s> Edited Thursday at 02:53 PM by rur Link to comment

I had to wait until the credits to place him because the character is fairly chill, LOL. I just noticed that he's in yet another Netflix project, "Merry Gentlemen." Maybe he fell into the Nexflix honeypot! 6 Link to comment
Cheyanne11 Sunday at 06:32 PM Share Sunday at 06:32 PM (edited) Wayne Northrop, Lynn Herring's husband and DOOL and PC alum, died Friday: Quote Wayne Northrop, an actor known for his work on the soap operas “Days of Our Lives,” “Dynasty” and “Port Charles,” has died. He was 77. Northrop died Friday at the Motion Picture and Television Fund’s retirement home in Woodland Hills, Calif., his publicist told Variety. “Wayne was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s six years ago. He took his last breath in the arms of his family,” a family statement from Northrop’s wife, actor Lynn Herring Northrop, reads. “We wish to thank the most caring and amazing place, The Motion Picture and Television Home for taking such great care of him. Wayne touched so many people with his sense of humor and wit. A husband for 43 years, the best dad ever to his two boys, Hank and Grady, and a rancher who loved his cows and was a friend to many.” https://variety.com/2024/tv/news/wayne-northrop-dead-days-of-our-lives-1236231768/ Edited Sunday at 06:32 PM by Cheyanne11 19 1 Link to comment

dubbel zout Sunday at 06:44 PM Share Sunday at 06:44 PM I wonder if that's why we haven't seen Lucy in a while (not that the character has been needed). Poor LH. 1 12 Link to comment

Also, SBu/Jason has always been a much bigger part of the canvas than Ingo/Jax has ever been. He has way more connections to the current canvas. Jax basically lifts right out, as they've proven over and over again over the years. When he's gone, he's "out of sight, out of mind." Not even his daughter talks about him much when he's not on the show. And Ingo could maybe argue that he's a better actor, or that Jax should have been a bigger player on the canvas, but that's just always been how the show runners see him. It isn't a punishment for his vaccine stance, it's how they treated both men for decades before Covid-19 was ever heard of. As much as some of us here might not get it, I'd bet the show can also provide some stats on fan reaction/engagement that support the idea of Steve being more important to the show than Ingo. And they can point to the multiple storylines he's tied into right now, and all the character connections he has on screen to show why they felt bringing him back was necessary. Jax's only real connection is Joss, who isn't going through anything major that would necessitate Jax's presence on screen. 3 2 Link to comment
CanaryFan98 Sunday at 10:03 PM Share Sunday at 10:03 PM This is wild I had a dream that I heard Wayne passed it felt so real and then a few hours later I read it online. May he RIP I preferred WN's Roman with Marlena on Days and this happens two months after Drake no less. My condolences to Lynn and their kids. This probably explains why the past few years we sparingly saw Lucy it was probably because she was dealing with this in RL. 6 Link to comment

The writing on the show is so bad I think pretty much every character can lift right out. IR thinking he was singled out somehow is his pride talking. 4 Link to comment
