And by favorites I mean they so impressed me that I actually remembered their names. I also enjoyed Emily's even though she was kind of wild. I found her interesting to watch. Tasha ... The A girls were Brooke (7), Megan (66), Mandy (36), Madeline (101), Royesha (17), the A/A- girls were Heather (12), Hunter (08), Brennan (81), and the A- were Maggie (54), Emma (06), Tess (75), Whitney (22), and Jackie (73). I had a number of candidates at the A-/B+ level, including standouts Yuko (83), Allie (43), and Minerva (100), Kelli (30), Kylee (13), and Christi (70). Celinda (85) was a disappointment as she started out very strong, but then forgot the choreography. So much potential, I think, if she can remember her choreography. I'm just adding Selina to my list of favorites. So I guess that's five? I don't usually go on the girls' instagrams so all I can go on are the videos posted. The five I mentioned - Selina, Minerva, Royesha, Cersten and Brennan - seemed to have the cleanest routines and IMO the most DCCest. I also liked Emily's for whatever reason. Some were quite lovely - Yuko and Hunter and Brittney (Jordan Baum lookalike)off the top of my head- and might do better in solos and on-field but their videos weren't particularly inspiring. Honestly, most of the others were kind of interchangeable. Madeline was fine but I didn't think great and Shelbi and Kyndall are just hot messes. 1 Link to comment

IMHO, I believe it is meant to expose those at tryouts that do not have the level of DCC dance technique required. It also has a lot of signature DCC moves. This is perhaps why to me Madeline and Selina are killing the Choreo as they have been TCC before. Hmmm...Shelbi's stumbles...#surprisednotsurprised. I am rooting for Kendall. K & J really liked her last season and did tell her to come back. I think she is what Judy calls a take home girl. I like Hunter. I am sure Kelli would love to redo that hair color. Hunter gives me Loren yellow highlighter hair flashbacks. I want Mavs Emily to make it. There is something about her. IMO she is this odd mix of beauty and pure goofball. She is endearing. I hope she has changed enough to convince Kelli and Co. Cersten puts the wow in power. Yikes, she is good. Like Cristie too, she kinda reminds me of Cassie Trammel for some reason. Loren was the only girl who won the fan vote who made the team, and she was called into the office more than once for her dancing. To me, the fan vote is like a high school popularity vote or being voted prom queen. It is all fine and dandy, but the person still has to prove themselves once they are out in the real world or in this case, Training Camp. Imo, I would rather win a spot in Training Camp and the team by my skills, not because the fans feel sorry for me. The fans felt bad for Vivian in Season Eight and look how well it turned out for her. Link to comment

I think that the fan vote has worked because people do pic their sisters/cousins/ etc. they also pick people who ARE good, and fans actually vote based on overall look (is the dance clean, are they pretty etc.) While it may seem stupid, I think it actually works since theres 10 people you can vote for,. 2 Link to comment

When I clicked on her link from the voting site the video is totally different. Maybe they do have two chances to do the dance for the video. The video I saw yesterday, she barely did one step correctly and by the end I didn't even know what dance she was doing. This video i just saw has her doing the whole dance more precisely. ChlcGirl May 17, 2016 Share May 17, 2016 I'm still not entirely sure that Kelsey was kept out of TC because of bad interviews. I've seen the clips of her dancing at prep classes and she's good there. I can't deny that. But just like with THIS clip, she isn't doing so hot in the DCC style. I can think of two occasions when K&J acknowledged that a girl was a technically gifted dancer (in one case they said she was the best technical dancer in TV) but that it didn't translate to their style. 2 Link to comment

For me personally I just find her a little grating, and I don't think she's a great dancer or the right body type so I don't really see her making camp unless she pulls this fan vote out.
