ElectricBoogaloo February 13, 2016 Share February 13, 2016 Determined to make her ultimate move against the Mikaelson brothers, Aurora uses Freya as bait to lure Klaus and Elijah into a dangerous trap. Meanwhile, after being recruited by The Strix's powerful coven of witches to perform a spell that could save the lives of her closest friends, Davina finds a way to conjure up Kol, the only person who may know the key ingredient to completing the spell. Finally, Hayley is forced to make a heartbreaking sacrifice. Promo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjG1pXKXkJk Link to comment

AlliMo February 20, 2016 Share February 20, 2016 Aya has swiftly moved to the top of my list of characters who need to die yesterday. I can pinpoint exactly why I can't stand her - she has Klaus' unbearable arrogance and Elijah's stick up the ass, without either's sense of whimsy or honor. I liked Hayley and Cami bonding and being all girl power. Joseph Morgan clearly relishes getting the majority of the most dramatic lines. 4 Link to comment
Artsda February 20, 2016 Share February 20, 2016 Kol! Loved seeing him. Aww Jackson's heart. Hope they can get it back and with it in his body! I liked the idea of the tree so Hope could visit it. Link to comment
ketose February 20, 2016 Share February 20, 2016 Davina needs a new reason to be screwed out of getting Kol back. Getting Jackson back would work. At last Campire admitted to being basically useless. So, there's got to be at least 8 more episodes before those three idiot vampires are gone. It would be nice if someone could choose not to use the season-long Big Bad Buffy model for once. I'm imagining a stake going through Aya and Aurora at the same time. 1 Link to comment
ElectricBoogaloo February 20, 2016 Author Share February 20, 2016 Aurora is annoying but at least she is batshit crazy and therefore somewhat unpredictable (and occasionally amusing). Aya, on the other hand, is supposed to be all scary and evil but I just find her boring and arrogant. It really annoys me when the show ignores the basic vampires skills and rules. Elijah should have been able to grab the gun from Aurora, but somehow his attempt was unsuccessful. Meanwhile, the Aya/Marcel fight seemed pretty evenly matched even though she is centuries older than he is. I'm undecided about who should have won the Hayley/Aya fight according to the alleged rules of this universe because Aya has been a vampire longer, but Hayley is a hybrid. This may have been the most straightforward Kol has ever been. He confirmed that the delinking spell required Hayley's heart, he helped Davina take down the other coven witches, and he told her to let him go. Usually he is being sneaky and has backup plans for his backup plans so this was unusual for him. Hilarious when Freya asked Klaus if he speaks to Rebekah the same way. Uhhh, yes, Freya, that is exactly how Klaus speaks to Rebekah. He barks orders, demands obedience, threatens, and generally acts like a condescending jackass. I have forgotten the details from last season, but I remember that Freya is an immortal witch but not a vampire, which means that the white oak bullets wouldn't kill her, right? 3 Link to comment
GraceAnne February 20, 2016 Share February 20, 2016 Wait... Davina said " they died with Vampire blood in them". How when they were the first vampires? Oh so all of the sudden Klaus can smell blood miles away again? The Continuity Fairy must have drank herself to death.... 1 Link to comment
Cattitude February 20, 2016 Share February 20, 2016 I have forgotten the details from last season, but I remember that Freya is an immortal witch but not a vampire, which means that the white oak bullets wouldn't kill her, right? I thought Freya was just a mortal witch with a normal extra long life span but when she was with her aunt they would siphon the magic from someone then sleep for like a year and it kept them from aging. Now that her aunt is gone I thought she is just and extra powerful witch who will eventually die like all witches. The bullet just b/c it was a bullet would kill her being white oak is irrelevant. ElectricBoogaloo February 20, 2016 Author Share February 20, 2016 When she initially showed up, she told them she was immortal. Klaus still didn't trust her so he suggested killing her as a test. His logic was that if she came back to life, they would know she was telling the truth (well, about being immortal, but not necessarily everything else she said) and if she stayed dead then they would know that she was lying. Dahlia did some kind of spell to make both of them immortal. Freya didn't want to do it but Dahlia did it anyway. When Freya found out she was pregnant, she tried to kill herself. The immortality spell only affected Freya so she stayed alive but the baby died. But I can't remember if whatever they did to Dahlia changed any of the magic she did on Freya. The biggest upshot was that Freya doesn't have to sleep for a hundred years at a time anymore, but I don't remember if she's still immortal. Link to comment
Luciano February 21, 2016 Share February 21, 2016 Freya is a very powerful but mortal witch. There was an episode a few weeks ago she got beat up enough that Hayley's blood was needed to save her. Dahlia's spell made her and Freya sleep for almost a century while building up their magic and then being awake for that year with immense power. That spell also made them impervious to harm, which is why they were essentially immortal. Dahlia freed them both from that spell when she linked herself to Klaus (and then tried to kill Freya by choking her). Link to comment
MaggieG February 21, 2016 Share February 21, 2016 If Freya was kidnapped and Hailey was beating up Cami, who was watching Hope? Completely agree that Aya is annoying Link to comment
TheHappinessHotel February 22, 2016 Share February 22, 2016 Please brong back Kol full time! I love how Davina has softened him and brought out his goodness. If I remember correctly, he was the only one making sense on TVD before he was stupidly killed! He is the best Original! 2 Link to comment

His face when she told him she loved him was such a mix of emotions. I have a feeling he didn't always hear alot in his 1000 years. 1 Link to comment

Kaboom 2.0 February 23, 2016 Share February 23, 2016 I liked Aya when she was introduced. Now? Please behead or stake her now, please. Campire too. Aurora bugs too but as someone else posted, she's BSC so ya never know what she's going to do. The look on her face when Elijah called her pistol inelegant, tasteless and vulgar (I think, please correct if I'm misremembering…) was hilarious. Anyone else wondering where Lucien is? Still think killing Kol was a mistake (and that hot ass Finn too), Kol was not just an OG vampire but had ties to the witchy world, which is usually such an integral way of life in supernatural NO. If it's between him or Jackson coming back PLEASE make it Kol, show! Link to comment
Argenta February 25, 2016 Share February 25, 2016 I agree Kol is the reason I started to watch the show again. His face when she told him she loved him was such a mix of emotions. I have a feeling he didn't always hear alot in his 1000 years. Kol was always the wild card - the most underhanded, amoral and self-serving of the Mikaelson children ... and considering that this is a family which includes Klaus, that's really saying something. So there's something especially poignant about seeing him develop an attachment strong enough to make him act out of bona fide altruism. I hope we get to see a lot more of him and Davina, as well as him eventually reuniting with his siblings. Speaking of the siblings, I was happy to see Klaus explicitly assure Freya that she's one of the family and that she matters to him. That was a lovely moment. I'll also add my vote to the Please Kill Aya Now campaign. As someone else said upthread, she has all Klaus' arrogance but without any of his cocky charm. I really want to see her taken down a few pegs (preferably sharp wooden pegs :p) I dislike Aurora as well but she has moments of real self-doubt, pain and vulnerability that serve to make her character at least a little nuanced and sympathetic. 1 Link to comment
