Thanks everyone for the kind words!

Oh, and I got a raise at my other job, too. Maybe things will be finally looking up :)

That is AWESOME!

Bubble lights? Aluminum tree with colour wheel? Do you have room at the table for a very small person who doesn’t eat much? ?

I'll find another rickety card table so you can join the kid's. Valley can referee and PatsyandEddie's in charge of the first aid kit and fire extinguisher.

I found a rotating tree stand at a yard sale this year and it's fabulous! I do love Christmas Kitsch. The video tour is of Kate and Bunky Markert of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. They have an delightful collection of aluminum trees and Christmas decor. I met them years ago at the 400 Mille Yard Sale

That’s awesome CS! ??

I will gladly take on the first aid responsibilities ( being a retired RN ) as long as it means I do not have to refrain from grownup libations. ?

Excellent! A professional healthcare provider emeritus will come in handy during the Airing of Grievances.

Sobriety is optional, but not recommended ... when dealing with the Little Kids Table or a Stunt Family Holiday. We can wear thin, if you're sober.

To brighten up a dreary November afternoon, I offer a text from PearliteLite [daughter]...just to show what icons of taste and searing intellectuals we are.

She's standing in line in Walgreens, reading the tabs--'cause that's what we do. A woman just ahead of her, a nurse, is also reading the tabloid headlines aloud to herself:

"He's gay as shit. I love John Travolta, but that beast's gay."

The 2nd Monday is on the 20th so I will let you know then. I hope it'll be okay. They were off this week so I was warned it might be hectic and there might be a lot of messages when I go in on Monday.

Emo-Rapper Lil Peep dead at 21

Lil Peep has been a huge draw on the SoundCloud platform for a couple of years, selling self-released mixtapes and CDs at live performances. This summer Peep released his first album, Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 1, and went on tour to support and promote it.

Lil Peep represented the second coming of mallcore and the recipient of a musical shift that's occurred over the past decade––much like punk rock once launched grunge and New Wave, hip-hop has spread in unexpected directions, mutating and evolving as artists put their own spin on old traditions while merging them with influences outside of the genre.

His first industry showcase and album release party were amazing; grunge guitars screaming over wailing preset loops, mixing rap and suburban mall-goth angst. He was at the start of wider influence, more technical production values and a broader audience.

It's so discouraging his voice has been silenced by depression and addiction.

Because the hits just keep on coming ...

Mel Tillis, Country Entertainer and Songwriter, Dead at 85

Singer, songwriter, actor, comedian and businessman, whose genuine warmth and down-home humor drew countless fans in his six-decade career. Mel recorded over 60 albums, notched three dozen Top 10 singles and wrote over 1,000 songs, several of which are regarded as classics.

His daughter, singer Pam Tillis inducted him into the Grand Ole Opry in 2007, and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame the same year, "I'm just so thankful, for everything," he kept repeating the day of the Hall of Fame medallion ceremony. Four years later, Tillis was named a National Medal of Arts recipient for his contributions to country music; he received his award from President Obama in February 2012 during a ceremony at the White House.

Mel's humility, hard work, and genuine humor lives on in his music.

Happy Thanksgiving Week to all you wonderful preverts!   Wether you're hosting, traveling or hiding out from it all, I hope you have a great holiday.

I've been absent from the board due to eye surgery that's left me, temporarily, not able to use the computer easily.  It will all heal up, but not for a couple more weeks.  With the state of Show these days, it might not really be that bad to have limited vision.

Anyway, folks, have a great Thansgiving!

Ouch! I hope you are on the mend and back with us in your usual top form soon. Yes, and Happy Thanksgiving to all you crazy American Preverts. We're having a non traditional dinner on TG. Bean with bacon soup, stuffed mushrooms, yeast rolls, sweet and spicy pecans, Chex mix and of course, pumpkin pies with whipped cream.

i saw an interview with a lady who interview charlie in jail.  she said he was only about 5'2"...same height as her.

they showed a picture of him with his arm around her neck while looking at her.

apparently he said to her something about him slitting a throat.  she was creeped out.

i can believe it cause i've never met the guy and he creeps me out too.

i really believe evil emanates from those who are.

Della Reese, singer, entertainer, actor and pastor has died at 86.

Primarily known as an actor in her later career, Della Reese was recruited by gospel legend Mahalia Jackson to tour with her at the age of 12. Ms Reese went on to sign a record deal with indie New York label, Jubilee Records and in 1957 landed at No. 12 on the pop chart with the ballad "And That Reminds Me."

Her initial success caught the attention of RCA, where her hits "Don't You Know" and "Not One Minute More" helped secure her place in the music industry as an R & B/pop vocalist of many standards, and known for her live jazz performances.

Sing it sweet, Della.

I was about to send out an SOS for you.

Is this a similar operation you had on your eyes last year?

Take care, and Happy Thanksgiving, boes.

That's sounds great. I would love to have a more casual Thanksgiving meal, but it's not to be.

We had our ThanksChristgivingMas last Saturday night without a hitch, but a few gripes because we were celebrating early. Family Fun! <le sigh>

We (Mr.Stunt, Thing2 and myself) take a 6AM flight tomorrow out of LAX for New York and then to London.

 Happy Thanksgiving!

Have a wonderful time with your family, and London.  Jealousy is what I'm wearing right now.

But seriously, have a great time!

Yes, same eye operation I had earlier in the year, the first one failed.

What's wrong? BTW If you (anyone) ever need to talk or just vent my pms are always open. I work strange hours so I'm often on here very late or early.

Sometimes holidays can be depressing or nostalgically poignant also this season can affect mood and your body.
