What is a Lifestyle expert? And why does Drew need one?

Have you seen the ads for Plexiderm, the creme that removes bags under the eyes? They have a woman in the ad described as a lifestyle expert. She says the product is the latest new trend. So maybe Valerie is going to tell folks about the latest fads. 🤷‍♀️

This should be interesting.

According to Google AI:

Quote

A lifestyle expert is someone who provides advice on a variety of life areas, such as health, fitness, fashion, or relationships. Lifestyle experts can work as consultants or influencers, and may help clients improve their lives in a number of ways

Drew needs one to provide content for her show. Rachael Ray used to have regulars that came on her daily show for different purposes, like the original cast members from "Queer Eye" and Stacy and Clinton (separately) for fashion makeovers and Clinton for his entertaining recipes. She had many such well known people on the show for different purposes.

The question is how is Valerie in any way a "lifestyle expert"? An expert on what? I can see her coming on the show to talk about food or recipes but she is no health, fitness or fashion expert at all. Rachael used to have Valerie on her daily show a few times a season to cook with her. So maybe that's what she's going to do on Drew's show because Rachael's show ended last year . It would have been nice if the article could have been more specific.

Good grief! More useless merchandising. Guess she needs the cash.

An expert on airing all your dirty laundry your life, especially how you never got over your ex-husband which made you lose your boyfriend and God knows what’s happening with this new one. I used to think she was OK but she needs counseling. She’s the last one I’d ever take any advice from.

I noticed that today QVC is offering fall decor items from "Lifestyle Expert Martha Stewart". I'd say Martha is the definition of Lifestyle Expert, if you leave out the felony charges and conviction. 😅

Funny how these lifestyle experts are million/billionaires and we’re supposed to take advice from them

Well, at least it was more than six months....

It was his response to her IG when she became part of the Drew Barrymore Show that made me wonder...it was cordially nice.

Wow, I didn't realize she and Eddie were married for 26 years.  That's not a bad run.  I'm getting ready to start Alex Van Halen's book.  I'm anxious to see what he has to say, if anything, about Val.

Let us know what you think of the book! I know next to nothing about Alex and would be very interested.

It was a pretty good book.  He misses his little brother very much.  They were together 24/7 for most of their lives and Alex is feeling lost without him.  They had parents who insisted on a good work ethic which is one of the main reasons Van Halen went as far as it did.  Oh, and he barely mentioned Val and what he did say was neither good nor bad.  He said Ed and Val got married too young (in his opinion) but it lasted a long time so they must have done something right.  He said nothing about Wolf's career which sort of surprised me.

I came away with a good impression of the guy.

Mr. Yogi already knows to hook me up, I've been wanting to read this book too.

Along with Eddie, I always thought Alex was cute but with a sinister underbelly.  Anyway, Valerie spoke of the book on The Drew Barrymore Show.  She said that they spoke at long length about things, including the book.  She got emotional when she said she hasn't read it yet, she loves both VH boys and is waiting until she can handle reading it.  She also said that Alex is extremely private, which is why I was surprised he did the book.
