Almost all the cons I've been to have been unorganized at times, even SDCC. It always seems they are unprepared for the number of people they get.

That's why it's really rude for the stars to be 3 hours late. 10/15 minutes, fine because hardly anything starts right on time. Being hours late screws up everything and pushes back the rest of schedule that was barely planned correctly in the first place.

I get snail mail delay but e-tickets should all be automated at this point. That's a mess.

I really hope they post some good panels and photo ops and avoid some awkward combinations.

A question about BC, KC and Arrow marketing was brought up in the comic section. Would that effect Cons promotion?

Again I can only speak from last years experience but panels started, I think, at 9am on Sat and finished around 4:30-5pm on Sunday. More guests this time so scheduling will be different but generally what they tried to do was have autographs & photos for one show while another show was having its panels. So they started with Arrow panels on Sat morning and then did autographs/photos with SA, DR, CL, BR in the afternoon while the Flash panels happened and then reversed that on Sun.

BTW, if anyone wants to get out of the hotel to eat then go to the airport. Sounds odd but it was the most peaceful place all weekend and it's really easy to get to (you just walk through the NEC & catch the little free shuttle thing). The All Bar One there is really nice.

Thanks for that!

I will add that if anyone wants to get any shopping done or explore the city a bit, it's just a train from the NEC into Town (New Street station). Birmingham has some pretty good shopping, we've got the Bullring shopping centre which has got a Selfridges in it as well as a bunch of other stores. And there's also the newly added Grand Central on top of New Street Station, which has a giant John Lewis.

If you've got time or you're staying for a couple of extra days, Brindley place is also a really nice place to go to grab food. It's a very doable walk from New Street, and a really nice one as well because you get to go past the Library and see the Canal. Plus it's close to Broad Street which has a lot of great nightlife.

I'm kind of a native, so if you have any questions or need directions or whatever, I'm pretty happy to help!

Awesome, thanks for the advice. I hate to pick your brain a little more but does that free shuttle take you to Downtown Birmingham as well? I was thinking of going to see some touristy stuff on Friday since I arrive early morning.  Also, heard there's a casino in town with a 3 Card Poker Table (yes, i looked it up don't judge me :-) )  trying to figure out a way to go gamble.

Hopefully there's a concierge because I would sacrifice the Gas Street Basin for Stratford-upon-Avon. But, I have no idea of that's even possible to arrange Friday for a day trip.

ETA: Thanks @doesntworkonwood

She did Nyssa's as well.

They did a much better job transitioning from CL to stunt double, I could barely tell when it wasn't CL. What happened in these past few seasons?

The Arrow Twitter intern still seems to be asleep, though. Hasn't even retweeted Wendy's comic preview post. 1 post about the coming ep, 1 retweet from the writers room for this week's episode. I mean, would it hurt for them to RT fan promotions for coming episodes? There's a lot of "unbiased" stuff out there. Like this one from SuperArrowGirl on Twitter:

Yeah, I don't like the t-shirt but I'll probably buy it anyway. Just as I did with the bathroom therapy one. Didn't like that either! Haha.

I love that Smoak Tech one though! They really should start asking fans to design things. They're always better, IMO.

Depending on how much time you have, you might be able to do both. Stratford can definitely be done in an afternoon. There are three train stations in the City centre and they're all really close, New Street, Moor Street and Snow Hill and trains go up to Stratford from the latter two every half hour on a week day and Saturday, and it will take less than an hour to get there. Like I said before the canal is a very walkable distance from the town centre (and a really nice walk too usually, but there are some works going on. We've got some great architecture) and as Brindley Place is right next to it, you can have dinner right next to it too.

Atlin Mitchell posted a new stunt compilation video, it's mostly stuff from Arrow [doubling Laurel, Sara, Cupid, and I think even Poppy once?]. This woman is a fucking ninja:

Damn, that's cool. I'mma watch that about 100 more times.

Some of the stunts in that video look like they'll hurt...a lot. Much respect to Atlin and the other stunt performers. Wonder if they compare bruises after work?

I'm wondering who PB skipped. The video is marked 6/6. It's only the fifth that he's posted. I imagine he'll post an interview with CR. I'm watching it right now and SA confirms that the photo with the long hair and the beard he posted a few months ago is from shooting the pilot.

Paul posted a video  with Stephen. And they both mentioned they come back first week of July. I think its because they fall behind this year because of all the crossovers.

Atlin's video was really cool, there was a non Arrow show where she was a doing stunts as a redhead, does anyone know what show that was?

I think that was Twilight? There were several scenes with wolves and stuff. But I'm not sure.

The wolves look like they are from Twilight, but I don't remember there being a red-head in the movies with the wolves. But two of the wolf scenes where she was a brunette are Twilight, I'm pretty sure.

Hot damn though, that is a rather impressive stunt video. I really wonder if Atlin can act, it would be nice to see her kick ass without having to hide the transitions.

Admittedly, I listen to these things as background noise most of the times, but is it for sure that the first week of July is connected to filming? I know they mentioned seeing each other then and that production would start earlier than usual. But maybe the fist week of July is just some con they're doing together?

So Oliver with shorter hair and longer beard next season because Stephen is worried about grey hair? :/ In my opinion that would make him look older than a few grey hair that you can't even notice that much since he is blonde. I'm not thrilled because you can see that Emily is younger even when they use dresses and make up to make her appear more mature.

I'm thinking Atlin likes being a stunt performer so she can do all those cool things. If she takes up acting, she'll be doing less stunts. Actors can't get hurt. That's why CL doesn't do much of the falling, jumping/flying or crashing through things stunts. She can only do the fight scenes on the ground.

IIRC, vampire Victoria was a redhead and she got chased by wolves in one of the early Twilight movies.

It's a poorly composed picture with someone who isn't even on the show anymore. Great job, WB social media.

Well, if getting people riled up in the @s was their intention, they did do a great job, haha.

I figure they were going for joint promotion with The Flash releasing their photos of BS.

It's a poor shot. Im thinking they probably didn't want a group shot and I don't think there were any other joint photos of the two.
