If these pictures don't provide definitive proof that SA looks more handsome/hotter/better in every way with longer hair and shorter stubble*, then I'll eat @Aychihuahua's hat!

*Obviously, the 2015 picture!

I get fake Criminal Minds serial killer.

I can totally see Oliver Queen in the 2015 pic, but I'm getting weird Ashton Kutcher vibes from the 2014 one. I admit he looks smarmy as hell in all three pics, though. Smarmy!Steve is not my favorite.

I think I just prefer OQ to SA, but I'm concerned that OQ is starting to make bad sartorial choices, too.

For a tall-ish guy, SA's legs always look bizarrely short to me...

Ha, Beth Schwartz was one of the writers on Canary Cry?  I get the impression that she doesn't like Laurel and/or KC very much, so this could be interesting.  Probably won't be cause it's Laurel, but it could be.

I think it's going to be a suck episode, but it most likely won't make me rage, so I'm watching. I'm kind of curious how much they destroy Laurel's and Oliver's character with their romantic, candle-ridden kissing scene. Daydream? Dream-dream? What-if? Or do they actually make out/bang after Tommy FREAKING DIES saving Laurel after seeing the two of them bang (which at least Oliver for sure knew).

Looks like Paul Blackthorne is the one doing all the interviews prior to 419.  So far, he's got...

Today - PB facebook Q&A
Today - Suzanne Gomez's announced interview with PB

Tomorrow (Apr. 26) - Collider interview with PB
Tomorrow (Apr. 26) - ET interview with PB

We'll probably see some other PB interviews published on Wed. as well.

Beth wrote Home Invasion. Don't know if that's a positive or a negative.

I LOVE the fight/parkour scene against the assassin in that episode.

Nothing to do with her writing, though. Overall I'm pretty meh on that episode. But rockin' fight scene.

Home Invasion is the one with the kid whose parents were killed and Oliver didn't back Dig against Deadshot? Speaking of, are they both glad they didn't assassinate him now that they know he didn't kill Andy?

I liked Home Invasion, from what I can remember. Particularly J. August Richards as the villain of the week who was downright chilling. Probably the best one shot baddie they've had, IMO, and I still think they should have kept him alive for a return appearance...

^^Yes. And then Tommy breaks up with Laurel. Edited by looptab

Home Invasion (1x20) is the episode where Oliver has to make a choice between going after Deadshot (helping Diggle) or going after Rasmus (helping Laurel). After Oliver chooses to help Laurel by going after Rasmus, Diggle is injured going after Deadshot; subsequently, Diggle rebuffs Oliver’s attempt to make up (oh, the bromance drama!)...

Oliver: “What happened?”
Diggle: “You didn't show, things didn't go well.”
Oliver: “Rasmus was skipping town, and I had to reprioritize.”
Diggle: “Thanks to your new priorities, four agents are dead, Oliver. You could have stopped this guy, ended this maniac once and for all.”
Oliver: “Lawton got away?”
Diggle: “You seriously think a man who goes by the name ‘Deadshot’ was going down without a fight? I needed you there, man.”
Oliver: “Taylor Moore was relying on me, Diggle.”
Diggle: “This was never about that kid.  He is safe under armed security at your house. This is about Laurel.”
Oliver: “Diggle, I made a choice.”
Diggle: “I know. You chose Laurel. Always her. Everybody else be damned.”
Oliver: “Something to say, Felicity?”
Felicity: “Nothing you want to hear.”

It's also the episode where we learn that Felicity dyes her hair...

Oliver: “Don't worry, Felicity. They don't send blondes there.”
Felicity: “I dye it, actually – I keep your secret.”

Reading this 2013 IGN review of Home Invasion (1x20) is kinda funny now, considering all the more recent complaints about Arrow drama...

Well that was depressing. It seems nobody was better off for the events of this week's Arrow episode. "Home Invasion" was full of death, heartache, and relationship breakups....

http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/04/25/arrow-home-invasion-review

ETA: In the next episode, The Undertaking (1x21), Laurel and Felicity meet for the first time, and Felicity goes undercover into a casino (Diggle is still miffed at Oliver).

PB's Q&A:

https://www.facebook.com/OfficialPaulBlackthorne/videos/501538386723988/

"What's going to happen with BC?" comes up at the 15 minute mark. Seems like PB was just confused about the question: "Well, she's dead. Right? I'm not sure why I'm still... I'm not sure. I had a dead bird in my garden the other day. Unfortunately it hit the window. I buried it in the flowers. That's what I can say to that."  And then he followed up saying that he was sad about BC/LL/KC leaving, and that he enjoyed working with her. "Very professional, brilliant actor".

Sometimes I love taking things out of context :p

I wish he left it at I had a dead bird in my garden the other day. It would've been all the more entertaining for me haha

To be fair, my entire twitter feed was filled with that quote and not the full one so I thought it was actually the full quote :p

Sorry! I'm kind of a stickler for accuracy :P I get frustrated when things get taken out of context about my favs, so I try to be fair even with the ones I don't like.

The story was pretty silly and random, though. PB and his godson laughed after he told it. But then I think PB realized that he shouldn't joke about it and followed up with something nice.

I'm still not sure which thread information about merchandise goes, but out of curiosity, I looked up when the BC/LL action figure is supposed to be released. According to Amazon, it's this Thursday. Other sites (entertainmentearth, WB shop, DC Entertainment) won't have them until June/July. I find the timing really odd.

I'm curious, now that LL is dead, if her merchandise is going to sell... The problem with her is that she received buzz at the most inopportune time... After her death. Before her death no one really cared to give her any buzz ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

From the link, it looks like that's an Amazon third-party seller, not Amazon.com.

Yes, but that was the earliest street date I could find. I think it's already odd that they're releasing the Arrow BC action figure the day after her funeral episode. I can't imagine there would be that big of demand for it 2-3 months after she's dead dead dead on the show. Edited by lemotomato

If you go to Entertainment Tonight's Facebook, you'll find their live Q&A with PB. I watched it earlier and don't remember any spoilers so I think it's safe to watch if you're avoiding them.
