Yeah...looks like I deserved that ha ha.

As mentioned elsewhere, I feels like Nico didn't make the call, and even though that trade was horrible, some of the reasoning was fair enough.  It may appear that Dallas will get the last laugh if all goes well.   That is unless Nico finds a way to screw up their selection during the Draft.

Which I'd blame on his boss since they can fire him at any time

There are no guarantees. Flagg could be a bust. In fact, I hope he is.

There's been very few #1 picks that have been outright busts. Anthony Bennett, you could say Ben Simmons. Greg Oden was bad luck with injuries. Not every #1 pick becomes a generational talent but it's the #2 pick that is full of busts:

Marvin Bagley, James Wiseman, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Hasheem Thabeet.

I actually can't remember a single #2 pick other than Larry Bird who became a superstar.

Roughly 60 day removed from present time, when I'll look from there and back to present time, I'll wonder how the league will fail to explain the reason for any of these games to be played, other than money.

To get to my point, people need to get paid, and they have to play the games for that to happen, but that's the only reason as I look back and forward over the course of 60 days amidst the Boston Celtics very successful title defense, period.

To steal borrow from The Herd:

"Where Carey was WRONG"

A couple of things before I bolt:

1: I probably should have waited to say I was wrong about Boston rolling through the postseason.  At least until they lost one of their next 3 games.  Even if they came back, they're not as epic as previously thought.

2: I am waiting on the Warriors admission on being wrong with that pick, but that's because I can't locate my pimping Golden State.  Though the worse possibly injury may have derailed things; I don't know if the Warriors do anything with Curry in the line up!

What a surprise (/sarcasm): Steve Kerr didn't start Kuminga either at the beginning or the second half, in a game Butler mailed in which meant Kuminga was the one reliable scorer the Warriors had out there. The Wolves just get to run up leads right away, when it's GSW that needs to run up early leads because by the time they get to the 4th quarter their aging vets are too tired.

Will Kerr finally learn for the must-win Game 5? Start Kuminga and play him 40 or there is no chance at a Game 6 where Curry could return. But we'll see. He's remarkably hard-headed.

I guess Golden State can win on Wednesday.  They're more desperate, so there's that.  However, it really doesn't matter, because the Warriors are losing the series & are destined to crumble anyway.  Curry returning for Game Six if applicable means nothing.  All it'll mean is him getting hurt again.

Gotta say I was surprised, but hats off to Minnesota.  Though they were motivated to beat Los Angeles and that would be it.  I don't know if they'll win out, but given what's happening in the East, it's anyone's championship to lose at this point.

Major changes coming to the league.

The warriors dynasty appears over.

Giannis 'exploring ' trades.

Tatum probably misses most of next year and Celtics are going to have to tear things down.

Embiid could also move on

And dallas in the (ahem) 'draft lottery'....will get flagg, or possibly giannis in a trade.

A new era.

Pacers advance. Cleveland blows 19 point first half lead. Looks like pacers knicks again. Won't be surprised if another 7 game series. Both teams are better than last year.

Anyone check on @Magog

I'm OK. Irritated but OK.

64 wins & a few multiple 10+ game winning streaks  for absolutely nothing. (🤬)

Compare to last season, this season was an absolute 110% epic failure. I expected a step up to an ECF appearance this season & that 15-0 start really got my hopes up. And it had to crashed out like this. Just simply infuriating. There is nothing positive about it & i can't even remotely attempt to put a happy face on this series & this season.

Frankly, I don't know how this crashing out can be fixed next season. I know damn well that we're not starting out next season 15-0 or even 5-0.

Overall, this whole f---ing series can be summoned by these faces.

😠🤬🤢, & 🤮.

I would rather get major sunburn than root for either of those 2 teams. It will be a flat out hate watch for me.

I'm not rooting for either team either, but I'm okay with a Knicks/Pacers East Final.  I'm rooting for a good series.  Of course New York has to officially get there.

I don't know how the ratings will play out.  Probably less than one would hope for.  However, seeing something new in the ECF AND probably the WCF is good enough for me.

Despite my past comments, there are a lot of very good to great stars.  They might not generate the interest that LeBron, Steph, & KD did, but every-so-often something different is pretty decent

I'm not going to be shocked if New York blows this.  Boston statistically performs better without Jason, and they're still better on the road.

Boston has done this to several teams in the recent past, where their foes are one win away from advancing with at least a game to spare, only to blow it to where they're in a Game 7 (on the road).

While a little surprising but still not a total shock, I'm not sure I'll have much to say if they repeat without Tatum playing a single second
