thuganomics85 June 9, 2015 Share June 9, 2015 Man, Jami Clayton and Freema Agyeman must really get along well, if they were willing to share that sucker. Usually whenever characters share food like that, you can usually tell there was a cut of some kind, for when they probably switched the food item out. But not in this case. I know it's a small detail, but I totally noticed that. Loved the two of them Nancy Drewing it, but those final moments were intense as hell. I'm pretty sure Nomi is safe, but I really got worried that Amanita/Neeks was going to get caught in the crossfire. I am way too invested in these two. Please don't do anything to them, show! Interesting though that it seems like this Whispers guy can actually posses other bodies, and make them do his bidding. That can't be good. Good thing Jonas showed up to at least give them a warning. And they do have a hard-drive, so I hope they got some good stuff out of it. While Amanita is fine thankfully, I'm not surprised that it looks like Wolfgang's partner in crime is done for. Figured he was destined for that. Not sure how Wolfgang is going to get out of this. I know he wants to go to India to meet Kala, but I'm sure he'll run the risk of bring all this with him, and I don't think he would want that to happen. DJ Riley and her dad was nice, but now she's hearing/seeing her mother, telling her she should never have come back. Uh oh! At least "Van Dammn" got to experience what it was like to fly on an airplane, before having to watch someone gets his hands cut off. What have you gotten yourself into, Van Dammn?! His flashback was interesting: sounded like his mother and father were from rival tribes or something? Sun is now in prison, but at least her cellmates are treating her well, since everyone is pretty much here because of doing something to a horrible father or husband of theirs. But I have to think Sun is going to have a run-in with that Prison Bully soon. Well, shit! Lito and the crew was fun as always (boyfriend pretending to be the bodyguard was hilarious!), but now it's all fucked up. Why in the hell did you take those pictures, Daniella? My guess right now is that he won't be exposed, but Daniella will go back to the abusive ex to protect him, and that's going to lead to more problems. Fuck, I guess the fun couldn't last forever. Will is getting closer now to finding out what happened to Daryl Hannah's body. 1 2 Link to comment

SanLynn July 1, 2015 Share July 1, 2015 (edited) I have so many questions about the break in murder sequence. The first one is what the hell was wrong with Nomi? Two different times Amanita is trying to pull her away from the computer and she's just like "I don't care that Metzger found us or Niles is trying to kill some people, it's not done yet!!" She's such a hacker. LOL... that was a nice microsecond of humor in an otherwise scary situation. But seriously, was the design of the zombie surgery to make people Whispers could control? Because it sure seems like it. And if it is, how many more zombies does he have out there? That's a frightening thought. I was quite pleasantly surprised to see Metzger fighting with Niles. I mean after Amanita sprayed him Metzger went in for the kill instead of running for his life and leaving the crime fighting duo to fend for themselves. I thought that showed that, despite all his evil doings he did still have a shred of decency. I'm curious though.... he must have suspected that Whispers was possessing Niles right? I could have sworn I heard him call Niles Milton and wondered if that's actually Whispers real name. I probably just heard wrong but that makes me wonder. And did Whispers see Nomi and Amanita while he was trying to take out Metzger? He seemed to actively avoid trying to kill them... But why wouldn't he have tried to subdue them with non life threatening wounds if he knew they were there? He must have had resources on speed dial given the crowd he walked into the church with in episode 1. But instead he just "cleaned up" the zombiefied Niles. myril July 11, 2015 Share July 11, 2015 And then found the Nancy Drew(?) book and was like "He's not all bad!" The book is "Nancy's Mysterious Letter", first published in 1932, here shown with the cover from 1968. Amanita is some Nancy Drew fangirl aside of being into costumes. Someone noticed that "WWNDD" (as in What Would Nancy Drew Do?) was on the wall in the background in the bathroom, the first time we see Nomi and Amanita in episode 1. Link to comment

myril August 27, 2015 Share August 27, 2015 (edited) I wish people would wear gloves when breaking into somewhere. Leaving your fingerprints everywhere is just stupid. People leave a lot more traces, not just fingerprints, but hair, skin particles, fibres, footprints, but right, fingerprints are probably the easiest to find and to track trace. And hopefully Nomi had planned to hack any cams around, just in case. ;-) Edited August 27, 2015 by myril Link to comment
possibilities August 27, 2015 Share August 27, 2015 fingerprints are probably the easiest to find and to track trace ...and to prevent-- that's what gets to me about it. Wear gloves when you're pressing your finger on the security system, computer keyboard, etc. It drives me crazy on a lot of shows. But yeah-- cameras are my 2nd greatest peeve for break ins and general show stealth. I'd like to see someone try to avoid leaving footprints. Slip and slide? Vacuum the carpet on your way out? Not this kind of show, but maybe for the next Get Smart. Link to comment
DropTheSoap August 28, 2015 Share August 28, 2015 I haven't watched past this episode, so not a spoiler...but, is Dani setting up Lito or what? She gets Lito/Hernando out in public together. Joaquin just happens to break into their flat while they're out. Joaquin steals Dani's phone, but Dani doesn't notice until the next day -- even though she's always on the phone. So, are Dani and Jaoquin working together to set up Lito for blackmail? Link to comment

So, are Dani and Jaoquin working together to set up Lito for blackmail? From what I understood, Dani wants them out together because they are always cooped up at Lito's place. They can't be scene together, so to do something nice for them, she was trying to act as his beard and have Hernando be a "body guard" because no one will think anything of it. Now, Joaquin is a stalker with money and connections. He could've easily kept tabs on them, and then broke into the place and waited while they were gone. Dani may have not noticed for various reasons, but I do believe she genuinely cares for Lito and Hernando and is genuinely terrified of Joaquin. 1 Link to comment
shrewd.buddha January 7, 2016 Share January 7, 2016 If last episode was sex, this one was violence : a guy getting his hands cut off, a guy getting shot in the gut with a shotgun, a guy shot in the head and a guy committing suicide with a gun (tho he was possessed). I hate it when shows start killing off the sidekicks to the main characters. Riley's dad seemed very sweet .... so I am expecting that he's destined to die. Sigh.. One bothersome thing : Why is Jonas ( Naveen Andrews) only popping into people's heads (Will and Nomi) at such odd times? If he can communicate during stressful times and not so stressful times, he should be able to come back later with more information about what's going on. 1 Link to comment

What did Jonas say in episode 4, it's "not like calling or texting someone. It's not something you make happen. It is something you let happen." Although at least even in a phone call it would work only if the receiver picks up the phone. Think it's not just up to Jonas, when it happens, he can't simply pop into their heads when he wants. So he has to give information whenever he gets any chance to. Until maybe the young sensates have developed a better sense and control of their ability. Additionally, now that Jonas is captive and under observation he has even less choices, Edited January 7, 2016 by myril 2 Link to comment

I agree with all this except "she genuinely cares for Lito and Hernando"--I know that is what the show is trying to make us feel now, but her behavior up til now has been mostly selfish, intruding in their personal lives and bed when (at least initially) they obviously did not want her there. And she took photos of them having sex (without their consent) and stored them on her phone, which could have been seen by others even if the phone was not stolen. I would have been more sympathetic to her if the emphasis in previous episodes had been on her hiding from Joaquin because she was terrified instead of her enjoying being their beard and being part of their sex life. ElectricBoogaloo August 3, 2017 Share August 3, 2017 (edited) Awwww, seeing Capheus so gleeful and in awe of being on a plane was adorable. I hope he stays as optimistic as he is now because it's a joy to behold. On a related note, Bug's wistful but happy "Missed you, buddy" when Nomi said she was going to use the NSA equipment to spy on the government was great. He has clearly missed the kindred spirit of his friend. Nomi may be a skilled hacker but I felt like I was watching Pretty Little Liars when she and Neets broke into Metzger's apartment. Wear gloves, people! Don't leave fingerprints! Metzger has been to several of the places where we know the members of this sensate live and he was heading to Chicago where Will lives. It's too bad Whispers killed Metzger before Nomi could get more information out of him. As for Jonas popping in, one of the things he told Will is that visiting is something that you LET happen, not something that you MAKE happen, so I think part of the issue is that he can't just show up until the other person is in the right state of mind to allow him to appear, which seems to be when their emotions are heightened. As kind as Daniela's intentions were, taking Lito and Hernando out to dinner seemed really risky. And guys, if you're going to pretend Hernando is just the bodyguard then you can't be holding hands under the table and kissing in the lobby of the building where there are glass doors and people who live there strolling around. If you want to keep something a secret, then you have to be careful - especially when you know there's a psycho ex out there. Joaquin is a creepy fucker. Breaking into Lito's apartment is not the way to win your ex-girlfriend back, dude. No woman in the history of the world has ever said, "Awww, you broke into my new boyfriend's house. That's so romantic! You must really love me! I want you back!" And why do guys always think it's about sex? It sounds like Daniela left him because he's an abusive asshole, but he just assumes that it's because Lito is better at Doing the Sex. I KNEW she was taking pictures of them having sex in the previous episode. Blackmail from Joaquin aside, that is way over the line. You don't get to take pictures of people having sex in the privacy of their home without getting permission. Ugh. While I support Kala asking Ganesh for help, asking out loud in a public place and using details like Rajan's name doesn't seem like the smartest idea. Anyone, including Rajan or her family members, could walk by and hear her. Riley's dad is adorable so of course I spent most of the episode convinced he was going to drop dead. I love how Sun's cellmates immediately welcomed her and approved of what they think she did. Did Will just make a deal with the devil? He's really going to turn a blind eye to EVERYTHING that Lincoln and his crew do? I love how chill Nita's mom is. Hearing voices? Not to worry! Poor Felix.
