Not sure where this would fit but I ran across a series on Amazon Prime called Highland Midwives.  Only three episodes per season but oh so good!  And the real bonus is the gorgeous countryside.

The CtM social media accounts have confirmed that there will be a two-part Christmas special this year, with the first episode broadcast on Christmas as usual, and the second on Boxing Day, December 26. I presume PBS will also have part two the next day, so make sure your DVRs are primed.

Thanks for the update.  It's shown up on my DVR on December 25 at 8:00 pm, listed as Part 1.  Nothing on December 26 yet and when I checked my local PBS schedule online for that day, it lists a Poirot episode at 8:00 pm and a DCI Banks episode at 9:00 pm.  Also, the episode description for Part 1 on my DVR guide refers to Chummy and Cynthia; it seems to be the description of the Christmas episode from 2014.  I will keep an eye on it because in recent months there's been a disconnect with the PBS online schedule and what my DVR guide lists.  I've had to create some manual recordings since a different show will be on the DVR guide and thus the DVR doesn't record even though I've set up a series recording.  It's very aggravating.

My guide has a two hour episode listed as Holiday Special 2024 on the 15th. Nothing on the 26th. They must be showing both parts back to back.

Interesting. Usually, the Christmas specials are 90 minutes, so I wonder if they decided to do two one-hour episodes for the BBC broadcast instead.

Update for me - both the local online listings and my DVR guide now have a two hour block on Christmas Day.  No mention of part 1 or part 2, it's listed as the Holiday Special 2024.  If they are showing both parts on the 25th, this would mean part 2 is airing in the US before it airs in Great Britain.

That seems unlikely.  Are we sure this is the newest Christmas special, or are we getting what was shown in the UK last Christmas?  PBS has a habit of doing this on many shows.
