Without those blue cards Sherri used to clutch in her hand she is at a loss as to what to do and say. My definition of enemy is someone who wants to ruin you. Destroy or life and everything that matters to you. If Sal was her true enemy he would be saying a lot more than what he's is saying now. And he might just do that once this case is settled. If I was Sherri I would make a condition of the settlement that he never be allowed to say a word about her ever again. Confidentiality clause. Over her years on The View, I recall Sherri talking about her many "great" friends. There was a lot of "my great friend so-and-so", and "my best friend so-and-so". Quite often her "great" and her "best" friends were also in show business. I'm hoping someone who truly cares about her (and Jeffrey!) will urge her to stop this, and explain to her that while it is important to keep your name out there, it is possible to do so with your integrity intact and while maintaining a shred of dignity. 3 Link to comment

maggiemae August 29, 2014 Share August 29, 2014 IIRC Sherri was voted out 4th show in.....and the opening show doesn't eliminate anyone? If that is the case, she really doesn't get it. IMO she was her own sideshow yet somehow thought she was a great dancer. And even has a great partner who IS a great dancer and went with what he had to work with. Very supportive, in fact. She was not talented enough to make it because, imo, she wanted to portray her OWN style. Actually made me feel badly for Val until I realized he had given up or just went with it. Even her, or his, fans couldn't save them. So I don't get why she wants to be on an all-star edition. Am I missing something? 3 Link to comment

And she never seemed to me to learn to tone it down a bit or take suggestions from anyone.....even her "mentor" BW. Or evolve, let alone prepare for the show the evening before or at least on the commute from NJ to NYC. If the show decided to let her loose it was a complete failure....for them, and her. Otherwise she simply could not take advice, or they chose not to give it due to the "spark" aspect of the show. But she wouldn't take WG's advice either. That is a great point. I had suggested that people who care about her and Jeffrey could possibly guide her to a better place, but it's a real possibility that she wouldn't want to hear any of it. I don't recall when it was clear the two of them were fired (Sherri and Jenny), but I don't think news of that came out before Barbara left (or had it?). Regardless of that, it may have been too late by then even if she had wanted to make a needed change, which she obviously didn't ("So, Hillary..."), and I think the decision had been made before that to let her go. I do recall reading she was muzzled that week and was told in no uncertain terms to not speak of her unsavory personal affairs (I'm trying to sound like Barbara with that - how am I doing, lol). Sherri said she didn't want to take anything away from the week of Babs, but I'd bet a lot she was told not to. Val was in the opening - which I think I saw was written by Sal. Her talking about her DWTS experience was just dumbfounding to me. She did wimp out on doing that lift. I do believe her when she said she thought anybody else was leaving the show as others were called safe. She said since she couldn't dance she'd have her personality. She would not take it truly seriously and acted like an idiot with all her accompanying mannerisms, jumping around like a fool when called safe those 2 weeks. Exactly, maggiemae, "If that is the case, she really doesn't get it. IMO she was her own sideshow yet somehow thought she was a great dancer," doing her own style, especially when she forgot a whole segment of their dance. Val was a saint. I do kinda think Sherri amuses him. Her comedy. That show was not funny or to be generous, maybe not that funny. Mr. Catty and I would look at each other. I guess I could see $28(?) tickets. And for the right crowd. Someone here mentioned the different images she portrayed in it. It has got to be embarrassing to have that show out there. She had a husband she'd climb who was jealous, she would never walk away from her job, how she'd make sure this marriage worked, everything that's not true so soon after that show. 5 Link to comment
