I thought that leaders get gifts for their teams on home game days....or am I misunderstanding how that works. If Kinzie and Jenna are seconds, then that only leaves three 4 year veterans, Kelsey, Jessica and Danielle. I wonder if the other seconds will be 4 year vets or will they go to a third year. Love Jacie and Kinzie too, that will be such a fun group! And Holly is one of my favorites so of course I am so happy for her! So curious about the other two seconds...I feel like Kelsey is an incredible performer and Danielle has such a great personality that they love. They aren't going to announce this on Twitter? LaurenBrook June 9, 2015 Share June 9, 2015 DCCFAN71, I have always wondered that about Kelli and Judy too, if Kelli is technically Judy's boss or if Charlotte is?? Or neither? LOL They always just refer to themselves being in charge of the brand and they do seem to really talk it out on who to cut/keep. But when it comes down to hard decisions and butting heads, who DOES get final say?? Kelli appears to on show but not sure if that's always just editing lol Awesome for Danielle, helping with group 1! I just love her. What an awesome night that was for her...second group leader and Star cover! That is kind of interesting about Kelsey Lauren but maybe she is too busy with her full time job to really commit to more leadership roles. I agree about Kelsey being well liked, and I don't know any of these girls personally but I do follow them closely and I'm honestly not surprised that Jessica got a leadership role...nothing against Kelsey at all she seems great. I'm glad Jessica finally got some recognition, she seems to sort of fly under the radar IMO. Do you all think that K&J ask them if they are willing to be group leaders (as far as time/committing) or do they just pick them and surprise them during practice? It may even be that Jessica was their first choice over Kelsey, you never know. Link to comment

LaurenBrook June 9, 2015 Share June 9, 2015 I liked the Jay workout segments...I know I am in the minority with that. I think it's important for viewers to see the kind of work these girls have to do to not only be lean but develop endurance. And Power Squad always interested me, to see who would make it lol The only segments I used to hate were the 'crazy activity to make you brave!!' thing, like sky diving and bungee jumping, etc. Just not necessary. Thanks for sharing Steph's account! I looked at the pic and I see all the rookies I've been rooting for like Kaleigh, Kat, Chantel, HOLLY!!, Colby (I have a soft spot and hope she really improves and gets the style down), Madeline and Taylor. From Stephanie's group pic you can tell that a few TCCs/Vets got cut off in the frame. Based on the ultimate cheerleader article with all their pictures they look pretty similar so I can't tell who the blonde is. I think its strange if you're an upper vet and not a leader OR on show group. 4+ year girls get some sort of accolade which is why I was really was interested in seeing if Veronica or Katy would do a 5th yr and if so it they would get SG or GL. Kelli especially gets emotional sometimes over vet cuts, so it's not like she expects the girls to not get upset. Jasmine's cut had to be crushing for Danielle especially, so I don't think anyone was mad at her over looking sad in pictures. 1 Link to comment
LaurenBrook June 9, 2015 Share June 9, 2015 I think K&J definitely have final say but I think they are VERY perceptive. Besides probably following their social media, they are with these girls all the time, not just at games and official events/appearances, but non-DCC events like weddings. They probably have no trouble picking up on which girls are respected and loved by the others and who has leadership qualities. More than we can pick up on from the outside! I mean, look at Mary. I thought she was cute during the show and poised but would NEVER have picked up on just how awesome she must be. The birthday messages the other girls did for her recently were ALL so super sweet and just gushing about how she is beautiful inside and out, motherly, etc. The show does not tell us everything. Anyway, I think they've picked great ladies for GLs. I honestly don't know if I'd rather be in Group 1 or 2 ! I love Holly and Danielle but Jacie and Kinzie would be so much fun. That is awesome Holly Marie got in their group!! Is this the first TCC group pic we've had since first meeting? 2 Link to comment

I can't search the archives at work because they block all things DCC in the site name as porn! LOL. Take with a huge grain of salt but in her blog on the old DCC site, Judy said they leaders are picked by the staff (so her and Kelli) but one year (2010 - MTT5), they were "so torn" they asked the girls to vote. She was so shocked and happy when Cassie was voted by her peers. Now the cynic in me thinks if I was trying to get in good with Judy, this would be a great way to do so. 2 Link to comment
