Athena March 30, 2014 Author Share March 30, 2014 Shiny! I'll just get comfortable on the red couch and wait for the other guests to arrive. Where's my drink? I really do think we should be drinking while watching the show and while commenting on it. It's in the spirit of it all. I'm glad there are people are coming into this forum! Graham's chat show is too entertaining and funny not to have a forum on it. The show returns April 4th in the UK! Link to comment
maraleia April 4, 2014 Share April 4, 2014 Let me know if you like the thread title and if you want to change it amongst yourselves I will edit it accordingly. Link to comment
Amello April 20, 2014 Share April 20, 2014 A Graham Norton thread? Am I in forum heaven? I've been watching his show for years and have watched anything posted on YT from his older and more scandalous shows. Regarding this show alone, there are still days I think of that Adele episode. I almost died laughing. Link to comment
Vikitty April 24, 2014 Share April 24, 2014 The Adele episode is what made me an Adele fan. Not even lying. Link to comment
sugarbaker design May 5, 2014 Share May 5, 2014 Bad news. The episode airing on Saturday May 10 on BBCAmerica has a start time of 11:15 and an end time of midnight. One would think that a network that airs Kitchen Nightmares 500 times a week could find an extra 15 minutes somewhere so they could air an original show. Bad move BBCA! 1 Link to comment
attica September 22, 2014 Share September 22, 2014 Good news: new eps to air stateside beginning 4 October. 'Bout time! 1 Link to comment
dubbel zout September 22, 2014 Share September 22, 2014 I hope we get the full hour. Enough of this 45-minute crap. 1 Link to comment
kassygreene January 25, 2015 Share January 25, 2015 Probably belongs in the air dates topic, but that's locked. Is anyone in the US getting a version of BBCAmerica that is transmitting this show? It keeps showing up two weeks out, but then it vanishes. BBCAmerica.com is no help (I'd leave an icily worded question there is there was a place to do so). It hasn't been on since January 2 - is GN having issues with BBCA? Does anyone have any info, even a rumor? We are missing good guests! 1 Link to comment
mrsdalgliesh January 26, 2015 Share January 26, 2015 Kassey, same problem here. The on-demand eps stop three or four weeks back and I havent seen the show on the schedule. Link to comment
HelenBaby January 27, 2015 Share January 27, 2015 I just checked and now my online guide says it's back on 2/7, but then again, the guide previously showed it to be on 1/31 that's now gone. Link to comment
ajsnaves January 27, 2015 Share January 27, 2015 I found the Contact Us link on the BBCA site, and sent an email. We will see what they say. I suppose we should be happy they replaced this week's episode with an actual British show, and not a 20 year old American show or movie. Or another hour of Top Gear. 1 Link to comment
akuayambusie January 31, 2015 Share January 31, 2015 Same here, very annoying. Especially since it seems like 3/4 of their shows involve reruns. Don't know why they can't carve out an hour for this. Link to comment
Teerose February 1, 2015 Share February 1, 2015 I checked the BBC America online schedule to see why Graham Norton was not being shown tonight and it appears it is not scheduled at all. Hope this show comes back! Link to comment
ajsnaves February 1, 2015 Share February 1, 2015 Well it was on my schedule for next week. Now Kill Bill Vol. 1 is on. Robert from "Viewer Relations" lied to me when he responded to my email. The BBCA site says it will be on Feb. 14th. I wont count on it. Link to comment
attica February 3, 2015 Share February 3, 2015 The BBCA website is promising a show on Feb. 14. Fingers crossed! 1 Link to comment
kassygreene February 3, 2015 Share February 3, 2015 TVGuide at this instant in time says episodes on Feb 7 and 14, but my Xfinity Guide says no. Epguides.com says there are four episodes that were transmitted in January, which we haven't seen over here, number 1 position on the couch being successively Meryl Streep, David Tennant, Sir David Attenborough, & Dame Judi Dench. Futoncritic says all of these aired in the US (not true) and that the sixteenth episode went out January 31 (again not true; futoncritic supposedly lists the British transmission dates, but these are also wrong as the show goes out on BBC1 on Fridays). Futoncritic also says season 16 has completed, season 17 has yet to be ordered, and the series is on hiatus or fate to be determined - again not true as the program's page on the BBC website says there is a new episode this Friday (Feb 6). So BBCAmerica - what the hell? Link to comment
maraleia February 3, 2015 Share February 3, 2015 Just got off the phone with their publicity person and he forwarded my info to the people who can answer our question. I told him that there are a lot of upset fans here (I mentioned I was a moderator here) who wanted answers. I'll keep you posted. 10 Link to comment

ajsnaves February 7, 2015 Share February 7, 2015 Well it's not on February 14th anymore.I am sure they will tease us, and put it on the schedule again for the 21st, and then pull it off again. 1 Link to comment
Teerose February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Bad news-I sent an email to the Contact Us link on the BBC America website to ask when The Graham Norton Show would return. The response I received stated that the program is no longer airing on their channel. 1 Link to comment
sugarbaker design February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 Bummer. That's a shame, I loved that crazy little Irishman! Link to comment
maraleia February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 I still haven't heard from my contact at BBC America. I wonder why the show was dropped??? Did they say Teerose? Link to comment
mrsdalgliesh February 10, 2015 Share February 10, 2015 So now we have to rely on our YouTube benefactors to put up full episodes. Curses. Link to comment
Teerose February 10, 2015 Share February 10, 2015 The rep who answered my email was Robert from Viewer Relations. He did not provide any further info and the email came from a Do Not Reply email address. My husband wants me to email them again to emphasize how much we miss the show but I think I will just go to YouTube also. I should note that the Contact Us link I used asked my age group. Maybe I should have checked off a younger age range(in case Graham's fans are skewing too old!) Link to comment
goodbyeglittergirl February 10, 2015 Share February 10, 2015 Oh no! I hate to hear that! I love watching GN. In other news, does anyone happen to know the on/off season for tapings of the show? I am going to London in April and am just wondering if he'll be taping then - would love to get a ticket. Right now there are just dates in Feb posted. Link to comment
catray February 10, 2015 Share February 10, 2015 BBCA is no longer airing Graham Norton?! Damn it!! I love the GN Show-- why would they pull it?! Gah this sucks. Link to comment
FormerMod-a1 February 10, 2015 Share February 10, 2015 I had emailed them, too, via the Contact Us link. However I have not heard back from them at all. It was just last week, but maybe that's my answer. :-( Link to comment
FormerMod-a1 February 10, 2015 Share February 10, 2015 Well, I finally got a reply and it's slightly different, but still not encouraging. ... Unfortunately we are unable to provide with the information you are requesting. At present The Graham Norton Show is not airing on the channel. Emphasis mine. Which, duh. My question was basically "I don't see this on the schedule, if and when will it be on again?" But the "At present" could be encouraging. Link to comment
kassygreene February 10, 2015 Share February 10, 2015 I'm hoping this is some kind of contract pissing-contest, like when cable or satellite providers drop a local network. In the meantime, YouTube! 1 Link to comment
kassygreene February 14, 2015 Share February 14, 2015 (edited) At present, my mum and I have been catching up via YouTube. I prefer not to bootleg, but at present, this is our only option. At present, we have watched through Jamie Dornan and Julie Waters. At present, I really want to watch this Indian Summers series. ETA: At present, Indian Summers is on the Masterpiece schedule!!!! ChicagoCita February 14, 2015 Share February 14, 2015 Seems like BBCA is moving farther and farther from what it was originally. I loved watching the chat shows like Parkinson and Jonathan Ross and now Graham. I guess I need to learn to love Dr. Who and Top Gear, since that's all that BBCA seems to show now. So very disappointed. 1 Link to comment
akuayambusie February 14, 2015 Share February 14, 2015 So bummed! I used to love BBC America too, and now it just seems to show the same few things over and over. I wish they'd go back to some more original things, like GN, that we can't see anywhere else here. Guess I'll have to go to Youtube too. :( 1 Link to comment
akuayambusie February 27, 2015 Share February 27, 2015 I just saw a post on facebook from BBC/Graham Norton that the show is coming back. I won't believe it until I actually see it on my DVR, but am hoping! There were lots of comments from people upset that it has been gone. 2 Link to comment
AuntieL February 27, 2015 Share February 27, 2015 There was a commercial for GN on BBCA a few minutes ago. I think it starts back this Saturday. Link to comment
kassygreene February 27, 2015 Share February 27, 2015 I just checked the Xfinity Guide for Saturday and that slots says To Be Announced, so maybe! Of course they owe us six or seven skipped episodes. Link to comment
dubbel zout February 27, 2015 Share February 27, 2015 My DVR has it marked, but there's no info about guests yet. Link to comment
ChicagoCita February 27, 2015 Share February 27, 2015 My Xfinity Guide has The Musketeers and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, followed by "To Be Announced" at midnight. Harumph. Link to comment
attica February 27, 2015 Share February 27, 2015 My Cablevision system has it on Saturday's schedule too. Which is good, because as much as I like getting an uncut version on YT, the definition there is terrrrrrrrrrible. I might celebrate with Graham's own crackers when I watch! 2 Link to comment
maraleia February 28, 2015 Share February 28, 2015 Yeah we are missing episodes 12-18 plus the Eastenders Special. Hope they will play all of the episodes since the season is almost done anyway. 2 Link to comment
gatopretoNYC February 28, 2015 Share February 28, 2015 (edited) I was so happy to see this on my dvr schedule! My guide says the guests are Sean Penn, Celia Imrie, Ross Noble, and Kelly Clarkson. Eta- I see this is the most recent episode - I really do hope they will still air the ones we missed! Edited February 28, 2015 by gatopretoNYC 3 Link to comment
maraleia March 7, 2015 Share March 7, 2015 Hey everyone...let's all try and watch the missing episodes if we can find them on Youtube so there are comments for the episodes that BBC America didn't see fit to air. I hate seeing all those 0's in the episode threads. Link to comment
maraleia March 15, 2015 Share March 15, 2015 For those keeping track, as of 3-15-15, we've (US viewers) seen episodes 1-11, the holiday special, episode 14 and episodes 19 and 20. The only ones that are missing are episodes 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, the compilation show and the Eastenders special. 1 Link to comment
