Me before the trailer: What’s with the blueberry pie candle on the poster? Me watching the trailer: Ohhhhhhhh shit. I am enjoying Hugh Grant’s villain era. Regarding Here, I don’t know if it’ll be bad or good, but I’m Tom Hanks’ bitch. Edited June 30 by Spartan Girl 2 Link to comment
Trini July 1 Share July 1 UGH -- I love this premise and Hartnett; but hate that it's Shyamalan, because I do NOT trust that guy to not screw this up somehow. Trap - trailer 2: 1 Link to comment
Trini July 17 Share July 17 I support Milli Vanilli getting a biopic; but I'm already deducting points because they didn't get the hair quite right. (Like, there's only two major things they're famous for; c'mon.) According to People, the surving member of the duo is a producer and consultant. Anduin July 24 Share July 24 According to Steam, I've put nearly three thousand hours into Borderlands games. Admittedly not for the plot, but I persevered through those moments anyway. When I heard there was a movie coming out, I was interested. Then I heard about the casting, and finally watched the trailers. God no. How is it possible to get it so wrong? Does Eli Roth hate fans of the games? Anyway, a final trailer is here. The sooner this slinks into and out of cinemas, the better. Link to comment
Anduin August 4 Share August 4 I don't know how I found this, but Space Bears. "After her planet is destroyed by an evil robot bent on stealing its resources, a young koala is taken in by her heroes, the Space Bears, and must learn how to use the power within herself to help them save the galaxy from a similar fate." First, Koalas aren't bears. They're marsupials, more closely related to possums than anything ursine. Second, there's one actor announced and she isn't even Australian. She's a professional voice actor, but I'm still very dubious. Okay, maybe she's playing a Canadian grizzly or something. I have no interest in actually seeing this movie, but somehow I'm morbidly curious about its development. Link to comment
Anduin September 3 Share September 3 In the "I'm not taking the piss but someone is" category, there's a new Robbie Williams biopic coming out. Who plays Robbie Williams? A CGI monkey! In the style of the modern Planet of the Apes movies. Because apparently he feels like a performing monkey when he goes on stage. The CGI monkey is embodied by Jonno Davies and voiced by Williams. Not being a fan of his music, I have previously mostly ignored him. But I sort of want to see it now. Link to comment
Trini September 18 Share September 18 I've been waiting for this one! Despite the vibe the trailer is going for, this looks like it's NOT going to be 'fun', although it'll definitely have some humor. Mickey 17 : 2 Link to comment

Anduin October 19 Share October 19 Josh Brolin is going to be a villain in the upcoming Running Man movie. He's not Black or Asian, can he sing? He could be Dynamo, Captain Freedom, or a new original stalker. What's that you say, it's an actual adaptation of the book? Okay, I've only read that once. I can't remember much of the plot or characters. Will it be any good? Here's hoping. Link to comment
Anduin Thursday at 03:28 AM Share Thursday at 03:28 AM Daisy Ridley is going to be in a second movie from Martin Campbell, called Dedication. This one, she's a former USMC officer at a fancy ceremony when suddenly terrorists! Due out later this year, possibly. They have another movie together, Cleaner, which is pretty much Die Hard with Ridley as Bruce Willis. Neither of these movies have trailers, as far as I can tell. But she was good with action in Star Wars, and Martin Campbell did two good James Bond movie. Both look promising, but we'll see. Link to comment
