I forgot all about a new season until I saw a YTuber who reacts to M600PL and saw a new show. I don't even know when it airs. I moved to Wisconsin and am currently enjoying -7 degrees. Real degrees. None of that 'feels like' stuff. I hope you all are well. When does the show air?

600 lb is Wednesdays 7 to 9 pm Central.

IIRC, in the first few seasons Dr. Nowzaradan performed gastric sleeve on some patients and gastric bypass on others.

It's my understanding gastric bypass is the procedure that dramatically lessens or eliminates cravings, while gastric sleeve does not.

However, the past few seasons Dr. Nowzaradan has only been performing gastric sleeve surgery (at least for his patients being filmed for the show). 

I'm wondering why, when so many people who are morbidly obese seem to struggle with cravings to such an extent that ultimately leads to them failing to achieve their weight loss goals.

Gastric sleeve is much quicker than bypass, so he does that first, and it works for a lot of patients long term.   If it stops working then he sometimes went to the bypass, or revises the sleeve. 

Dr Procter has gone to the duodenal switch for revisions, because he said it doesn't cause the malnutrition that conventional bypass does.

I'm officially confused.   Someone on reddit claims tonight's WATN is Paul & Carrie, which would be S10.E03.  However, TLC's tv schedule, and both online guides I look at, show Lashanta & Holly, followed by Octavia & Aaron, both reruns.
