I know some don't like this format but I do. One, it's great at shaking things up right at the merge, depending on the group. For example, Shauhin's "power" relies on having his allies voting with him. But what if they're not all together?

I also enjoy this segment of the show.  One thing I'd change is just merge after this segment

Ugh David!

Yup. And that's why some don't like all the puzzles, but I do, because they are a good neutralilzer in a challenge.

Because let's face it, David has shown no evidence of being a brain trust, so I don't see him being unstoppable in challenges that involve more than just strength.

. . . and CBS doesn’t put in the Probst casting spot here?

Booooooo.

It really annoys me that Cedrik who only lasted 15 seconds gets to eat.

You want Probst to smack the PB&J from Cedrek’s hand, declaring that food is for winners?

We’re not halfway through the episode and we’re on the third page. Just FYI.

Shit, I don’t want Sai OR Mitch to go, and I can’t envision a scenario where both of them survive the night.

I wonder if Mitch being on the outs is more personal than the other players want to let on. He was too close to Charity? Well, she’s gone and neither of them ever had anything with anyone. His story is too good? So is Eva’s, yet Joe would be okay losing to her in the end. Something isn’t adding up for me here.

Didn't David say last week he wanted to get rid of the puzzlers and keep the strong and mighty?  Now I see why.

Well this was certainly a challenge tailor made for musclemen. It's no surprise it came down to David and Joe. But to be fair the show doesn't do a lot of those.

I think Mitch and his empty stomach might be voted off. The other tribe, maybe Cedrick.

I don't know, call me crazy but I think a Shauvin blindside might be coming. I just think highlighting him talking about controlling how the vote will go and all that is like "famous last words" on this show. And don't underestimate that Kyle/Camilla duo.

The first tribal council will likely come down to Mitch or Sai and as Sai noted, since she clearly has nine lives, they'll continue to let her skate by.

Especially as Joe has already prepped his, "Mitch is too likable and has a story" argument.

Yeah, they are the only two (so far) that have gotten any real screentime of people who could be in danger.  Star and Chrissy have been non-existent this episode so far, and I don't see Eva going.  Plus, more people have it out for Sai.

Heh, even Mary is calling Sai going.

I wish there was a way for them to throw a coup and get rid of David.

If I can't lose David then I'd be fine seeing Shauhin get the boot.  Truthfully, I just want to see Kyle, Kamilla, and Mary survive from that group.  Since David is safe, I'm okay with Cedrek or Shauhin going.

Weird how Sai, Mitch, Star, and Chrissy are all not thinking of splitting up Joe and Eva.

Which is crazy, because what odds does Sai really have in this game?  She's the perfect person to sit next to at the end, and at the very least she might be an easy vote-off down the road.  Mitch might want to but doesn't have the votes.  Star seems to think she's in with her old tribe now when she has no idea they were all gunning for her.  Since we've seen next to nothing of Chrissy most of the season so far, I feel like she's just irrelevant and not voting smart.

I've been saying that since the 1st episode. They gotta bound that you can't keep them together.

To be honest.  It would be the right call to make a move on those two.  It'll go down as unpopular, and they'd take public heat for it.  That's unfortunate since nobody an established villain.  If this is yet another FVF season, a past villain making that move could & would take the heat
