I’m incredibly angry that Ralph is getting a talking head. He is a vile piece of pond scum. Abusive financially and emotionally, and probably worse.

Brit always sounds like her nose is stuffed up when she talks.  I can't pay attention to what she's saying for hearing how it sounds when she says it. 

So now Shamea wants to sing!  I must admit though.  She didn't sound half bad.

It was bad enough watching Drew at the studio, now Shamea is a singer too?  Is there a market for real housewife singers in their 40s? 
Brit does sound stuffed up and she’s trying too hard for a fight with Kenya. 
Why couldn’t the judge have said no filming for Ralph?

Britt is really coming for Kenya. She wants attention from Kenya so bad. She's absolutely looking for a reason to fight with her. Girl just move on,  Kenya is paying you dust . Thanks you Shamea for being the adult in the room to make peace with Angela.  Porsha is shady as shit and jealous as hell of Shamea, I truly saw it in this latest episode .  Porsha how could you say that because the song sounded good you thought it was Drew ? Porsha tread lightly with Angela about her husband, you don't want anyone bringing up your mess with Simple Simon. This is why everyone questions your frienship with Shamea, it's clear that you aren't genuine.  Curious to know what else Britt did to Kenya to have her expose Britt's porn pics.

Both have great songs, I doubt if it will go mainstream, but both songs seem to be doing well.

I don’t get this genre of music.

At least from what I have heard on the show neither woman has a particular striking voice and so they sound generically bland and the music and accompaniments just sounds like forgettable elevator type music. 

The style seems so insipid and uninspired.

People on Twitter keep banging on about how Kenya deserves to have her "say" and shouldn't have been released from the show because of Britt provoking her. Thing is, Kenya didn't have to take action and do what she did (that we will see next episode) with

Two wrongs don't make a right, but Kenya chose to act in a way that is unacceptable. It's like when Kenya provoked Porsha during that one reunion with her words and using the bullhorn and waving the wand in Porsha's face - eventually Porsha was pushed too far and chose to act by getting physical; a no-no that put Porsha on pause from the show. 

Kenya's not above having to suffer consequences, and this is that.

But you set there and threaten someone with a I have  a gun your gonna see your gonna learn over and over and over literally UNPROVOKED. Nothing Kenya did sitting at that table that night warranted that reaction hence EVERYONE else’s WTF reaction to her going off about what? (We’re still doing this moment outburst as she walked past Kenya who was ignoring her completely). She had smoke till Kenya retaliated then turns into a cry baby like you get what you get cause you had BIG energy there with the basically I’ll shoot you aka why else you keep repeating you got a pistol  .

my question is why didn’t production step in then it was a legitimate threat ..screaming I got a pistol along with you gonna learn .. 

like had something happened later would they have been libel for NOT? But then they hold Kenya responsible for what she does in response which makes no sense 

. they both should have been let go .. actually this bitch should have been tossed first ..

So I have a theory about Kenya...

In the same way that someone who is a victim of sexual abuse can turn around and become an abuser, because they recognize the necessary level of vulnerability and target it, I think Kenya does the same with these women who have suffered from emotional abuse/ neglect. She seems to have a nose for what buttons to push and she seems to relish targeting women who 1) grew up poor and 2) had rough childhoods, although even stable ladies like Kandi and Kim Fields have been on the receiving end. When you look at how she targeted Marlo, Nene, Sheree, Brittany, and even Porsha, it's like she knows exactly what buttons to push to get a rise, and she does it simply as a way to assert dominance over them. 

The issue has been, and continues to be that at her core, she's not about that life, and poking the bear will sometimes result in you being bear food. She had been winding Britany up at their previous meeting, then showed up and immediately met her with a less than sincere greeting. Britany had been stewing for weeks since the original "where is your wedding ring" conversation. Kenya is the one who coined the phrase on HWs of "fun shade" but at its core, shade is disrespect, so there isn't really a "fun" way to do that. It is 1000% mean girl energy and it's done very intentionally, but in a way where she tries to hold herself out as above it and more cultured and refined than these louts that she's caused to spin out of control. My guess is Kenya got tossed because production had previously spoken about picking fights with her, and because the revenge porn thing is actually civilly actionable where the defense of "she threatened me, so I released her nudes" isn't going to get you a not guilty plea. The Bravo folks and production want nothing to do with that sort of exposure.

I was watching season 5 yesterday. Kenya made a point of getting her firearm out of her closet and giggled while she showed it to Brandon and insinuated she could use it on the other ladies if they gave her a hard time during the group trip to Savannah. So she can shut it about feeling so threatened by Brit. Not that Brit’s in the right either. She wants a story and decided to take on Kenya.

I think when all this happened IRL, Kenya told production she was threatened. She was saying something like that when she was in the car with Porsha at the end of the episode. (And it makes total sense why she would be because that lady is *nuts*.) Bravo said they investigated and found no threats made. But then they showed us the threats on TV, so ... ? Between Housewives, Top Chef, and Below Deck though, they have a terrible track record in these matters, so why should I be surprised.

Angela's place looks cool; I can see ATL folks flocking somewhere like that. And Porsha and Kenya were a vibe at the dinner. It made me sad to think we won't get a season of them being cool with each other. I'll hold any other thoughts on that until I see what Kenya actually did.

In other news, Shamea and Drew both have good voices, but RL turned out a better tune than the hot dog man. People online think it sounded dated, and when she was playing it by the pool I said it sounded like something Nicole Wray put out in 1998. But that's my era so I liked it.

I don't think it is manufactured but like almost all of the beefs and feuds with the housewives it has almost nothing to do with the "beef" but everything to do with the hierarchy and power struggle between the cast in terms of money, exposure and control of story line.

And that is why these beefs are generally the most ridiculous and boring parts of all of the franchises.

I mean who in their right mind thinks that Dennis is someone anyone would hire as an Executive Producer for their music. So it isn't organic because Drew created this ridiculous storyline for drama rather than because she actually would hire someone like Dennis with no musical expertise to be her Executive Producer.

I am 100% sure he does not touch any of the buttons on the mixer board and unless he and Drew have some sort of an agreement that she will do the vocals for some jingle for his hot dog business it does not make sense.

The buttons he most likely pushes belong to Porsha.

Drew is wasting money thinking Dennis is going to help her career in any way, she is trying to make him be something he is not.  Kandi did that same thing with people she hired too, suddenly one of her assistants is a theater producer then they are a restaurant promoter, Drew should learn from Kandi's mistakes.

I'm not feeling the show this season. It seems trashy. I don't like most of the new women. Not that it was exactly classy before (the stripper party a few seasons ago was the series low IMO), but it's gone into the basement with the screeching and posturing of these vacuous women. It doesn't seem like a HW show anymore but some c-list cable show like Bad Girls Who Fight or something stupid like that. 

It has declined without Kandi. Porsha isn't smart or interesting enough to anchor this show. It needs someone like Kandi or Cynthia to counter the school girl drama of the others. Heck, I'd even take Kenya as a fulltime cast member. 

I didn't even finish the episode.

I'm not feeling it either. I miss Kandi, as well. There are almost no comments here either.

I watched part of season 5 last weekend.  So much better back in the day. The fighting didn’t seem as bad or forced. It was before Nene and Kenya got too full of themselves. Kandi was caught between her horrible mother and Todd. Cynthia was still with Peter. Phaedra with Apollo. 
This season feels forced. Dennis is helping both ladies by filming with Drew. Brit was looking for a fight with Kenya to put herself on the map. 
One thing that’s missing from most of the housewives shows. The husbands. They don’t need to be front or center but the scenes at home are too few and far between.

Porsha showed her petty, jealous self- she didn't "recognize" her best friend's since high-school voice, and she "thought" it was Drew. 

I don't think the Porsha/Drew drama is manufactured. Porsha appears to be angry about the whole situation. 

As for Kenya, the incident will air on tomorrow's episode according to the previews. There is no justification for her behavior, like there was not for Porsha's physical attack on her at the reunion, but Bravo didn’t fire her. Porsha physically attacked Dennis (and others), and she tried to attack his mother on her own show (she presumably left the HWs for this), which lasted for a season probably because of the altercations. Bravo rewarded her by asking her back, hoping the story of her train wreck of a marriage and divorce will get high ratings.

Am I the only person who notices Brit's husband Mike appears a little too controlling (maybe insecure)??? She can't have private conversation long enough to have a convo with his sister. Your wife is at dinner with her sister she hasn't saw in awhile (or since you came around). Why are you blowing her phone???

AND he was at the dinner just waiting on her LMAO I can't.

I did notice that she responded that because he is her husband, her sister's business should be shared with him. Strange indeed.
