Yeah I hate this driver’s seat. It all came down to taxi luck and then there was no option not to do it, like with a u-turn. I agree with the person above who said at least have a task before it so you have to earn the advantage.

I’m thinking Jonathana is going to need to talk a lot to defend themselves. I don’t think they made a bad move. They probably would’ve taken the 25 pounds if they knew they would be skipping it.

I loved the mole with Anderson cooper. Apparently it doesn’t take long to thresh rice, so maybe the express pass was not best used for this challenge. Just put Jonathan and Scott on a team together.

Detour: Penjor or Pajegan?

Penjor: Decorate a long pole with elaborate markings.
Pajegan: Purchase fruits and other offerings and build a stacked offering.

Jonathan & Ana choose Penjor.  But Jonathan has to go to the bathroom.  Will it cost them first?

Scott & Lori are already catching up to Jonathan & Ana!

This looks like it could be another very uneven detour.   Pajegan requires going to the market, reproducing from memory and balancing.  Seems much harder than the first one.

In fairness, it looked like that task was going to be both a time suck and physically exhausting.  Either Lori is an absolute beast at beating the living crap out of things (she does have 8 boys), or it's not as hard as they made it look.

Here's a thought for the Driver's Seat: require everyone to thresh 15 pounds of rice, and the first team finishing gets to assign more weight to the other teams.

Jonathan & Ava figure out what was wrong and get checked again.  This time, they're right, and they're done.

Time to deliver it.

Last team to a temple is eliminated.

I would've done Pagejan until seeing how hard it must be to find the items.

Melinda & Erika choose Penjor.

Brett & Mark choose Penjor, as do Pops & Jeff.

Scott & Lori get checked and are cleared.  Time to deliver.

Bernie & Carrigain are also choosing Penjor.

But they get back directions to the Detour from an incompetent local.

Carson & Jack are done now and leave to deliver their penjor.

Scott & Lori deliver their penjor and get the Pit Stop clue.

Carson & Jack tell Bernie & Carrigain the right way, but they don't seem to listen to them.  They're still lost.

Han & Holden and Nick & Mike make progress in shopping for their items.  They finally find where they need to buy most of the items, though.

Jonathan & Ana arrive first at the Pit Stop.  They win a trip to Croatia and Montenegro as their prize.

Han & Holden pass their check this time and are off to deliver.

Carson & Jack somehow pass Scott & Lori for second place.  But Scott & Lori are in third.
