Argh!!! I don’t believe that Sutton targets women on the show, when they are experiencing the worst that life has to offer.

ITA.  I was thinking about this yesterday when Erika made the point several times about how Sutton kicked them when they were at their lowest points in their lives, blah, blah, blah....

I would love for Sutton to have said something along the lines of ...These aren't the lowest points of your lives, ladies.  Erika, when your legal issues finally get resolved, you'll be in Club Fed sorting mail or mowing lawns.  Dorit, you may join her, or perhaps you'll head back overseas when your particular house of cards comes craaashing down....

She offered a loan to Erika when Erika abandoned her troll. She offered to support Dorit, when PJ and Dorit separated.

Erika and Dorit resent how Sutton’s divorce was the Dream Fantasy Divorce, similar to Jennifer Tilley’s. They are so envious. They raged at her, instead of at their caca husbands. Again and again. Sutton was wise to want to ask Erika questions about the egregious blood money Girardi poured into her Talentless and Tacky Vanity Project LLC. Dorit “made a joke about Sutton and alcohol.” Sutton had a legitimate reason to react strongly to it. I completely relate to how Sutton responds to events and behavior that irrefutably affect her and her family.

ITA about the divorce… and if you look at the two sets of marriages… Sutton and Jennifer both married for love and companionship, which probably played into the settlement and why they received what they received (and I don’t get the sense that either of them were spendthrifts)… whereas at minimum, Dorit and Erika had *some* kind of financial angle with lots of $$$ going out the door, leaving them in more difficult circumstances.

And Sutton did try to help them both but they were too stupid to take good advice.

They should have borrowed it before she spent all her money on her "fashion line." That must have wiped her out for a good while.

Definitely. Ericka targeted Tom-- she waited on him for years, and once he divorced, she told him she was single. Not sure how Dorit ended up with PK-- I think they met at a wedding party or something. But Dorit isn't about to marry someone broke. Not sure about Jennifer's husband's financial situation when they met, but he definitely wasn't in the money like he was after they divorced. And Kyle constantly talks about how poor she and Mauricio were-- their first white party they did the cooking themselves!

True.

But just because Sutton came out well from her divorce doesn't mean she's some sort of expert.  Her situation was very different from both Erika's and Dorit's experience, including the financial standing of both Tom and PK.  I'm not sure what kind of help she could really offer anyway?  Hire a forensic accountant?  Emotional support seems a stretch too, since the queen of sisterhood pacts seems to flip out at the first sign of disagreement.

Besides, Erika hasn't even bothered to file for divorce after three years and Dorit doesn't seem to understand that PK is probably gone for good.

I agree Erika's situation is totally different, but Dorit and PK's finances seem sketchy enough that a forensic accountant might be helpful!

I don't think that there are enough assets in Dorit and PK's finances to warrant the need of a forensic accountant.

I think that is one of the things that Dorit is extremely concerned about.  As you said, their finances seem very sketchy, but I think that Dorit may be somewhat aware of that fact and the fact that PK's machinations are what are keeping them afloat.  She's worried about what will happen to her and the kids if they divorce.

I'm wondering how PK's first wife and kids were left financially when she and PK divorced.
