I remember watching a Jacques Pepin cooking show and he was talking about how difficult it was to shop when he first came to the US. "I asked the man 'where are ze mushroom?' and he point me to the center of the store-canned mushroom! No fresh mushroom!"

Come on, Mark. There must be a Market Basket near you! They have EVERYTHING

Paris has so many fresh markets. I was there for a month and I couldn’t walk a block without finding fresh produce, bakeries, outdoor farmers markets etc. She doesn’t t want to eat cream of mushroom soup.

Yes, and the well-known trope of everyone carrying a string bag with a fresh baguette sticking out of it

They could also discuss moving to another country for a bit to see if his family can visit or even immigrate there since he misses them and loves them. I think Avery did something similar with Omar but I don’t think Stevi will ever want to live somewhere else, even temporarily.

Avery had it right. She might have been only a kid but she knew what was what. She always said "It doesn't matter where we go as long as we're together". Somehow I do not think that Stevi will say the same.

Coming in a little late, but hello again!

Mr. Traveler and I are exploring parks around us for our walks, which we both love.  We found one today that is still a little bare but will be beautiful when the flowers come out.

Ohhh I love Park walks but it has been way too cold here for that

Still waiting for my chimney to be unblocked so the replacement pellet stove can be installed. The chimney guy had a vehicle accident so he's down a truck. I'm ready to scream.

So, basically, we are all tired, cold, frustrated, not feeling great, maybe sad, maybe really scared, and looking forward to icky medical stuff.

Bon courage to all of us.

You are going to a craft furniture store for a high chair? Mark, you, or the TLC production team, are completely delusional. Oh, we are in rural New Hampshire, we don't know where to buy baby furniture! Nobody there has babies!

He is not even in rural NH! Isn't he in Nashua or Derry or Seabrook or some other border town? Dominated by strip malls and places where people from Massachusetts can buy booze, cigarettes and fireworks.

"And if they do, why, they just tie the baby to a kitchen chair (hand crafted by their grandpa and still in daily use in the family log cabin).
