I love Craig’s back yard! I’d want to stay there all the time, too. 😁

Me too!!!  It's so peaceful and well thought out!  Why would you want to leave that?

I loved that he has an app that will turn on his fire bowl by voice command.

The only thing that is missing from Craig's backyard is an awning or canopy over the outdoor kitchen area - that would be the one improvement I would make.

Wow, JT's so obnoxiously self-righteous. No wonder he has no friends, there's no room for anyone else to stand on the damn soapbox. He doesn't know Salley, he doesn't know Gaston. It's apparent he hadn't talked to Taylor in months. Like Craig said, it's not his business. Obnoxious try hard.

Ok, why are we suddenly being subjected to so many Whitney appearances? I wish they'd just quit pretending he's some kind of lothatio. It's apparent he wants to project that image  but sorry, it rings fake & forced.

Loving admitted band geek Molly. Is it too soon to ship a Craig/Molly pairing? I'm a giggler who likes Paige BUT she snoozed & I'd love to see him with someone like Molly.

The way JT was talking, I thought he knew Salley well enough to know what he’s talking about, since he’s so sure it’s the truth.

But apparently he doesn’t so he didn’t witness what supposedly happened.  So the producers put him up to this, have him tell something unsavory about Taylor’s bf?

However long Salley is on the show, she will now be known for her one line that they had to bleep out about how she hooked up with Gaston.

Not sure that kind of graphic detail would be considered Southern charm but the men liked it.

The  fishing scene was only for the show so is it suppose to be a big diss that Austen was left out of an artificial excursion which only exists for the show?  Presumably they decided which cast members would go fishing.  They used a fish scanner and they only had to bait the hook, pose for the IG and throw it back, because they weren’t going to clean and filet it, prepare and eat it.

Then they have a scene at what, Whitney’s little club house with $1000 a bottle booze in the bar downstairs and fancy and expensive guitars upstairs?  Is that Pat’s money or Southern Charm executive producer money?  Oh well Madison christened his expensive Japanese toilet.

Pat's money, probably his father's money (Pat was married three times to really well-off men) from a trust fund, and some Bravo money.

Boring episode.

It feels forced. Some of the people who went to the concert don't have a close relationship to/are friends with the rest like it was in the past (Bravo was showing episodes from the first seasons before the new one). It was the same situation at JT's place. Taylor wants to be on a reality show, but not to be questioned about her life. For somebody who tells Venita she is the happiest she ever was (with Gaston), she appears to be really unhappy, and uncomfortable around the group. It seems almost nobody likes after she hooked up with Austen, and she sent nude photos to Whitney. JT was directed by the producers to discuss Gaston, and his cheating, and Shep and Craig were forced to go fishing with JT because otherwise there would be nothing to film.

Molly is the most like likeable. And everybody's dogs.

JT being a part of almost every storyline is puzzling.  Nobody seems to like him and yet there he is all the time. Is the show just that boring or are they all just that lazy?

Probably both, I feel like I'm working harder to make storylines out of thin air at home, on my couch, eating popcorn and drinking a chablis than these knuckleheads.

He has that! When they had the BBQ instead of Taylor’s party, it started raining and they opened the awning over the kitchen area.

I guess it’s Whitney’s money now. A few episodes ago they had a scene in which Patricia said Whitney “bought the house” from her. I guess when you’re this rich, you know how to work the system with trusts and whatnot to avoid losing half of your generational wealth to inheritance taxes.

I feel like JT works extra hard to follow the producers’ scripts. It seems like everyone else just shows up to the scheduled tuba concerts and fishing expeditions without any preconceived agenda. But I picture JT huddled behind the camera crew diligently studying his script and jotting down notes. He can barely contain himself. 🎬

It was a boring  episode,  JT flapping  his gums, he loves the sound of his own voice. He has a collection  of wooden  spoons to keep  stirring  with.

One thing  I did notice, Shep was really  there for Molly, he loved the concert. She's  the best person on the show. I just wish she wouldn't  put herself  down.

I'm glad Craig walked  out on JT, I still love his backyard.

I guess I'm the only one who isn't really a fan of Molly's.  It seems like these newer cast members (and cast-adjacent) from Charleston are hopping all over whatever "reality" shows they can get an appearance on, and Molly is one of them.

I do agree, though, that it seemed like Shep seemed to enjoy the concert.  Shep seems to be more settled this season - could it be that he is finally growing up?

JT continues to annoy - he is like a little mosquito that constantly buzzes in your ear.  Just go away, JT!!!  There is a way to be a truth teller without dropping a bomb at every get together and blowing it all up.

While I don't have much of an opinion on her, I did feel badly for Salley because she kind of got caught in the middle of an argument that had nothing to do with her.  Taylor drew Salley in - I wonder if that is because Taylor is feeling a little insecure about Gaston.  I'm sure if Gaston is as much of a player as JT says, all of these people must know, including Taylor.  And, Salley admitted to dating Gaston even after she found out that he had another girlfriend, but Salley said Gaston told her they broke up.  It's all so confusing - JT saying one thing, Taylor flouncing out of yet another party, Salley saying something else and everyone else chiming in.

This Charleston group seems pretty insular - it's like they all know each other for years, and have either dated or slept with each other.

If you don't like bomb-throwing, this is the wrong show, wrong network for you.

So they've been using this theme, the high-tempo music over the montage.  It's modern, nothing like The Charleston from the 1920s, which may be the most famous song associated with the city:

Then they have the chorus doing boop dee doo with lyrics modified when cast members are cross with each other.

After watching seasons of this show, you kind of tune these musical elements out but I guess this is how they establish that the show is set in the South.  Well these musical elements and montages of Charleston and the occasional twang from some of the cast.

The producers, probably:  "Hey, Salley, wear your tan knit dress to the tuba concert!"

Taylor:  arrives in tan knit dress
Salley:  arrives in tan knit dress

Regardless of how Molly arrived on the show, I still find her more interesting than anyone else, and sharing her connection to the old band director and her love of music (and last week's rescue-dog-walking) were lovely odes to her character.

Otherwise:  go, bait fish that leapt to freedom from JT's nerveless grasp!

Also, poor long-dark-haired pal tagging along with Whitney, who just seemed to be in the way of all the people who wanted to dramatize at each other.  And LOL at Whitney busting JT's minifridge door.

Exactly,  that's why I like her. There's  more to her, than showing off skin, and drinking. Taylor's  a huge snorefest.

Aww I loved the Molly band nerd scenes. As a fellow band nerd I totally understood her connection to music and how it changes you, especially performing it. Playing music is like picking apart a novel. There are so many layers and pieces. My husband and I met in high school band and he played the euphonium so I’m very familiar. I played flute well into my 30’s while he quit playing in high school. I actually created (with the help of a nationally known flutist) a local flute choir in our town and played bass and alto flute. I had to step away when my son got sick and daughter had to have multiple surgeries. It’s been about 3 years since I’ve played but I get her band nerdom :)

JT started a conversation (confronted) Taylor about her new boyfriend out of nowhere. It felt rehearsed.

Shep had to say in two different occasions that Gaston is not attractive, and that Taylor downgraded.

I don't know, I keep laughing every time another person says Gaston is not attractive.  Because I don't think he is, at all.

I'm confused.....had Gaston presented it to Taylor that he and Salley had just been a one night stand or a fling?  And Salley (and now JT) are saying that it was a true longer-term relationship?  I'm just not getting what is supposed to be the big deal here.  And if Gaston cheated with Salley, that's on him, not on her.

Taylor is soooo boring and so useless.  I could care less if Gaston is a total scoundrel.  I wouldn't be surprised.  This fool thought Shep of all people was going to marry her.

Why does JT always proclaim himself such a man of honor?  Who even talks like that?  And if you have to label yourself something, 99% of the time it isn't true.  Let others say it about you.  Nobody is saying that about little parasite JT.

Venita is so adorable and upbeat and happy.  It makes me sad that she came in so hot and kind of off the rails in her first season (likely producer driven).  Because I think she's one of the better things about this show now.  If we can get her away from JT.

I loved this too! It was so refreshing to see someone on this show be passionate about something or have something else going on in their lives other than drinking, partying, and hooking up. And, not trying to live off of being a Bravolebrity by slapping their name on some stupid business they know nothing about and then claiming to be such a BOSS. That's one reason I'm liking Craig so much now. Yeah, his sewing business has taken off due to his celebrity status on the show, but it was still something he was interested in, learned about and started on his own. It wasn't a line of products somebody else created and wanted Craig to just put his name on it and shill it for one season and then we never hear about it. Somebody suggested Molly and Craig getting together now that he and Paige have broken up, and I ship this pairing.

Edited to add that Taylor is so boring and looks unhappy because she is really not bright at all. She's probably been pretty her whole life and was never encouraged to do anything else and thought she would get the rich husband, darling kids, and pampered lifestyle because she's rich and pretty. She's probably one of those girls who has no interests of her own, and just takes on the interests of whomever she's dating. Now, she's 30 and doesn't have her parents' life, and she's bitter about it and doesn't know how to get over this because she's so dim. I blame her probable upbringing as much as her. The few times we've met her parents, they seem nice enough, but I don't think they ever encouraged Taylor to do things on her own.

100%

She's completely vapid & incredibly dull. On WWHL, she was asked why she'd be considered a good catch & she said "well, look at me" 🤮
