The IT service at my office has helped me with passwords when I got locked out and needed help. I can't believe no one would suggest she speak to them about her problem. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151514-s01e03-day-one/#findComment-8560665
possibilities Yest. at 05:00 AM Share Yest. at 05:00 AM I do think it's interesting that she is so taken aback by the protocols they've put in place for her to be assessed. This is the 2nd time she's had a major screw up on a case -- she had one last episode, too. I think it's more than reasonable that she has to prove herself. I like that they are not making her a perfect person or a total victim. I would like to see her best friend get to be more than a sidekick, though. It seems clear that the new chief is in fact trying to cover up his mistake, though. Was he talking to a lawyer, or a higher up hospital admin, who was counseling him to make sure Amy fails? I'm guessing it is an admin, who wants to cover the hospital's ass wrt a lawsuit. I'm glad he at least has some moral conflict over what he's doing. I still don't like him, but at least it's not quite as extreme as it was looking in the earlier episodes. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151514-s01e03-day-one/#findComment-8560671

Driad Yest. at 06:11 AM Share Yest. at 06:11 AM Amy had brain surgery four weeks ago, but it didn't affect her hair, huh? It would be easier for some viewers to follow the timeline if they had shaved her head for surgery. Then her hair would be short now and growing longer as the season progresses. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151514-s01e03-day-one/#findComment-8560695
Zoe Yest. at 06:36 AM Share Yest. at 06:36 AM (edited) Once I saw on the screen that she had been trying to get into her work email, I had to yell at the TV. Edited Yest. at 06:36 AM by Zoe 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151514-s01e03-day-one/#findComment-8560711

l star Yest. at 07:28 AM Share Yest. at 07:28 AM (edited) I think this was my favorite episode so far. I like that she’s having issues. She doesn’t know the current medicines. She screws up. She comes through but she has to work at it. I do wish everyone would just chill a little and let her work, but I get it’s early. Hopefully they back off a little bit though. That scene running down everything she did wrong just pissed me off. It was only accurate through the worst possible lens. I still don’t see the massive behavior issues either. She’s harsh, but these doctors are treating patients. I did like the scene of Jake asking her to back off though. He approached it professionally without the ‘you’re awful’ fluttering hands. It showed that people could work with her if they tried. I’m curious what happened between her and Sonya. Jake seemed to be trying to protect her by sending her to TJ instead. Surely it was more than what we saw last week. I loved the little moment when she walked up to the nurse and started to introduce herself then was like never mind, you know me. It was a good little shot of how weird everything is for her. Gina and Amy are an entertaining pair. I hope Gina gets more to do on her own too, but I like her dynamic with Amy. They are really believable best friends. I like that they’re showing more of Jake and Amy together than just little clips of them kissing. The dinner scene was cute. I don’t know why he lied about her telling him what the password meant though. I’m guessing he knows a lot more of what she wants to know than just her password. Dude needs to step up. I’m not liking Richard. At all. The undermining is already old. Edited Yest. at 07:53 AM by l star 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151514-s01e03-day-one/#findComment-8560725
DanaK 23 hours ago Share 23 hours ago I'm really liking this show so far. Amy has been harsh in the past but now she's starting over and trying to figure things out. The question will be, will she return to being harsh or find a new way forward? I do think she was pretty harsh in the flashbacks and I don't like that personality too much, but I suppose you have to be a little tough to train new doctors. Don't remember where/when it was but just assumed it is simple jealousy and resentment. The fact that Amy behaved so badly towards everybody and still Jake wanted her did not help. MarylandGirl 15 hours ago Share 15 hours ago This felt very much like House, M.D. with her investigating where he was really working and going there to investigating. Not complaining, because I liked House! And sometimes doctors do need to dig deeper in those ways. Especially because "Everybody lies," as he would always say. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151514-s01e03-day-one/#findComment-8561295

It could be some residual "To hell with her, that's her problem" attitude from the staff that she had bullied. Even with an absence of eight years, I would think that anyone who has ever worked in an organization knows about IT. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151514-s01e03-day-one/#findComment-8562041
