Log-in Changes

I've been trying to log in with a new device, but it won't accept my password, even though I've never changed it. So I tried to reset it, but never received the reset email. I have tried several times on different occasions and the email never comes through. Can anyone help me with that?

I've forced a password reset. You should have received an email but if you didn't, there's one other option that usually works.

So I just logged out, changed the info from username to email address and logged right back in.  Am I all good?

This may be relevant to others as well but the email address gets blanked out automatically.

I've always used a VPN when accessing internet, but as of this morning, I'm getting a strange message when trying to access the site. But as soon as I disable my VPN, I can access the site with no issues. Is this a new thing you've implemented or is the site just glitchy at the moment?

I'm not aware of anything new that was implemented. 

One possibility is that this particular VPN was connected to a lot of recent spam activity and considered unsafe by a spam plug-in.

Thanks for the quick reply. It seems to have fixed itself somehow now. It must have been a glitch.

I can't log in with my user name and I'm not getting the password reset when I request it (checking spam filter, but no luck there, either). Can you help? User name is Fliz.

I had to create a new display name in order to log on - can I somehow get the old and new accounts merged?

If you can't remember your password but your browser logs you in automatically, you can check your Password Manager to see what password the auto-login feature is using.

Please force a password change for me.  I don’t remember if I changed it recently because of the upcoming update and  forgot it or if I’ve never changed it and forgot it.i do remember both my user name and email.

Changed my email — I think!, but had to request password reset; waited for the email to reset but it hasn’t arrived.  Is the email to reset my password being sent to my original email? because that is no longer accessible.

I'm assuming your email server is blocking Primetimer's automated email.

That's weird. When I wanted to reset my password, I just clicked on "forgot password" without typing in my email or username. It then asks for your email, and sends you a link to reset it.

The community members are referring to trying to change your password in Account Settings. 

Come to think of it, it might be good for have a "forgot password" link there, so, that members don't have to log-out to get there. Is that something that can be done @AllAstronauts ?

It could... but... I mean, if you are logged in somehow but don't know your password eventually you'll be logged out anyways and still not know your password. Right?

I don’t know that I went under account settings, but I couldn’t recall my password so signed out. Then just clicked on forgot password under the password box.

I can't remember my password and the one I have tried to enter, I get a message that this is incorrect.  Also, according to my Account Setting, my email is not the same as I have listed in my email/password book.  HELP!

Greetings mods ,

I went to my settings to change my email address as I no longer have that email adress. I entered the new one and I was told I could not use that address on this site. It's an aol address.

What am I doing wrong?

It wasn't you, it was us but it should work now, so please try again 🙂
