OMG these have to be the worst guests we've seen in awhile. What did they think they were signing up for? I get the feeling they thought they were going on one of the luxury motor yachts, not the sailing yacht. 

And they asked for a seven course meal. Do they even know how that works? It makes them seem so pretentious. What a bunch of posers. 

The husband was the only decent guy. One dude and seven Karens. 

I'm so tired of people like this going on this show and complaining about every little thing and going "this was supposed to be seven star service!" You're on a low rent Bravo reality show. Get real. Clearly you're not above all this. If you're too dumb to do the modicum of research where you're going you deserve exactly what you get. Stop pretending you're too good for this. Go back to being on Real Housewives, losers.

They didn’t ask for 7 courses and cocktails, that was the producers’ idea.

Watch them get a $20k “tip.”

Instead of matching cocktails to each course, how about just pouring some wine on demand?  How often do people have mixed drinks with meals, especially 7 each?

I guess Parsifal is too small to have jet skis and slides, though these guests may not like those either.

How dare Daisy ask Danni and Chase to work or at least look busy.  Doesn’t she know that cast hookups are higher priority than “work?”

Diana got over Chase and she wanted no part of Gary as Danni suggested.  She don’t want your leftovers Danni.

Fake convo between Daisy and Gary, don’t think either have the slightest interest in each other but why not, the messier the better on this show.

Those guests were disgusting!  I agree the husband of the one asshole seemed nice but the women were horrible. Complaining from the time they set foot on the boat. And leaving a bag of vomit in the hallway is gross. 
I’m glad Diana doesn’t seem too upset with  Danni moving in on Chase. She also isn’t giving pig Chase a second thought. Good for her. 
Gary decided to celebrate his staying sober the night before by going out for a drink and asking Daisy if they could ever be a yacht power couple? Sit down Gary.

I think those guests signed up for the wrong show. Like @iMonreysaid. They thought they were going on the other Below Deck show. You learn a lot about people watching how they treat people. These folks didn’t do themselves any favors by embarking on this yacht. Nothing was going to be up to their standards and they didn’t come off as gracious. They wouldn’t be my friends IRL.

So many things seemed . . . off with this group. Except for the husband, everyone else was pretty unlikeable.

If anyone ever doubted producer interference, all they have to do is watch this episode. This group clearly was not interested in availing themselves of all the water toys, despite what the preference sheet said. They were unhappy with the sailing, despite the preference sheet, because the boat was leaning too much. (FFS!) They didn't seem too interested in the cocktail mixing class, either. (more about that later). 

Who declares she doesn't like oysters at dinner after (apparently) liking them on her preference sheet? What kind of person leaves a bag of vomit in the hall? And what kind of idiot keeps announcing that she's going to be sick and waits for someone to bring her a bucket? At the very least, head for the railing and puke over the side of the boat -- not at the dinner table!

To be fair, though, I kind of have to agree with the stew who basically said everything on the boat was half-assed. (My words, not hers). If you're going to tell your guests to muddle something, then you don't have only one muddler so they have to take turns. You say, you can muddle using this instrument, but a lot of bartenders just use one of these bar spoons. Shame on Daisy for not foreseeing that. 

I get the feeling that at least some of these folks were somewhat coerced into doing this. They didn't seem to even like each other very much.

Daisy is showing herself to be a less than chief stew, not prepared, laughing when she dumped glasses on to the table and floor at dinner, not listening to the guests request for smaller drinks, etc...Also, everyone wants a multi course tasting menu until they get it, Daisy should have listened to the guests saying the portions were too big and they were getting full, she should have asked if they wanted to cut out a couple of courses and asked Cloyce to serve only half of the portions.

Granted the guests were wet blankets, I do not think they were familiar with sailing and didn't know what to expect but they were rude so screw them.

Ibiza isn't easy to reach for Americans, unless it's the summer when there are probably more direct flights from big hub airports like Frankfurt, Paris, London.

Otherwise I don't think too many Americans go there.  It's a party place in the summer for Europeans of course.

It seems like these guests wouldn't be the types who'd go to Spain or even Europe.  Maybe they signed up expecting to go to a season based in the Caribbean.  They didn't like the European cocktails -- Aperol Spritz tasted like cough syrup to one of them.

Does anyone know how the charter quests are recruited? Is it an open casting call? Do they hang up a sign in the marina? 

I always side-eye the one night charters because they are incredibly rare in the real world. It was obvious these folks had no idea what type of boat they'd chartered, had no interest in water sports, mixology or a seven course tasting menu.

Production should be rightfully embarrssed by this episode. It made me feel bad for the crew. 

Finally, Gary trying to resurrect his image (& hold onto his job) by suddenly pretending to be in love with Daisy was sad & pathetic. So glad she saw through it.

Anyone else jonesing to hear Kate and Ben do some Galley Talk about this season?  I think Cloyce has improved over the season while Daisy is deteriorating.

I'd really like to know that too. I can't decide if all these 1-day charters are so the show can squeeze in more charters per season or if it's because it's all the guests can afford. Probably the former but guests like this last group make me suspicious about the latter. What I've read is that the guests really do have to pay full price for the charter but the producers/Bravo pays for their airfare. That was very early on with the original show, though. Who knows how it works now. I think it's getting harder and harder to find charter guests with all the different versions and after so many seasons.

In poking around I found Bravo has a site to apply to be crew on these shows. That surprised me, but they are very specific on what kinds of skills and experience they want for the various crew positions.

I guess shorter charters are more work for the crew, since they have to dock and leave port more often, roll out the toys, do a full clean of the whole yacht, etc.

But also more parties or nights out for the crew, more chances to film those drunken antics.

And this one-day charter, they're stretching out over two episodes so probably just a bit of the next episode to sort out them being dissatisfied, AFTER a ONE-NIGHT CHARTER, which is another bit of BS.

Then the rest of the episode could be about them going out and getting into more drama?

Absolutely!  These were the ideas going through my mind, someone who has 0 years of stew experience as opposed to Daisy's 15!  There are simple solutions to most of the issues guests raise on this show, but maybe producers want the problem to play out for the drama.  I hated seeing all those drinks and food going to waste.

From what I've read in the past about recruiting guests for the below deck shows originally the guests were already booked on the boats & didn't know which boats were being used as they changed a lot. Guests were then asked if they were willing to be filmed & if so had the charter paid for by production which is one of the reasons the tips were all over the place and some were very poor when compared to others.

If you look hard enough you can find what boats really have been used for which series as the boats names are changed by production before filming starts which is the part I found fascinating.

I believe this all changed during Covid and has stayed the new way ever since, hence the tips always being around the same amount & the whole thing being very formulaic now. Oh and boring as the spontaneity of the original few series has gone and it's now the same thing every fucking season & every damn boat.

Obviously don't take this as gospel as it was a while ago (years) that I read all this & things have obviously changed since then.

Some real bonehead moves not seeing how to fix a simple problem.

Like cut the portions and let the crew eat them on the fly. It's already made, no sense throwing it out.  Throw it on the crew mess table.

I've had jobs where you would eat like that.  All sorts of stuff going on, you grab a mouthful when you have a few secs, and go back to the stuff, back and forth.....

Is it production?  Or are they really this dumb and production can easily capitalize on that?  Some of both?

Agree the husband was cool, smart to STFU and let the (insert your favorite insult) women just go and make fools of themselves.  He seemed quite accustomed to the behavior and knows how to deal with it.
