Right? At the age of 67 I had hit 270 and lost 90 pounds just by cutting out the carbs and breaking up with butter. No surgery required. And I was old and post menopausal, when losing weight is supposed to be impossible.

He had a Telehealth visit today but he is doing a shift at my mother's house today so I won't know what happened until he gets home. He has some test scheduled for January so nothing definite yet. Thanks for asking! He feels well and is working and driving Uber as usual.

This week's fun:

• Had the bandages taken off my arm. I am healing well. However, they further let me understand that at some point I was just another patient on the conveyor belt. The physician's assistant twice introduced herself to me. Um, we had several appointments prior to surgery and a few online interactions.  I guess I'm not memorable? 😁
• Met with a plastic surgeon because the breast in which I had the lumpectomy has become, let's say, unique looking. Not doing anything now. Learned my options. At no time did we discuss a BBL or giving me a pig snout nose. Guess I'm not LDL material.

It has one of the highest failure rates. At least this doctor was talking about using her existing flesh rather than adding implants that are known to buckle and flip.

@Pepper Mostly, i saw a guy yesterday carrying two shopping bags from The Gingerbread Construction Company and assumed there were a couple of half dozens in there. Now I need to go to the store.
