It is so difficult. My mom was in hospital for months before she passed so my days were, go to work, go to hospital, try to get her to eat, try to chat but she wasn’t always 100 per cent with it so it was a lot of repeating myself or just sitting while she napped, go home, wake up…rinse and repeat.
