Still stuck on Sazz knowing about the movie before the trio did and that she thought there was a "problem" with it. That seems to make her the target.

However, she was shot in Charles's apartment and had been trying to warn him about something. It seems unlikely she was the actual target, and yet, there is evidence that someone wanted to prevent her from sharing what she knew.

I don't know what's happening, or why Charles should be in danger. It's hard for me to remember all of the things we've been told or shown. Just when I think I have a line on the story, someone will point out something that sends me off in a different direction.

Another new episode at midnight tonight. Maybe we'll get some answers then. (Ha ha!)

Just another thought that occurred to me later, if Charles is possibly the target (which seemed certainly possible at first) wouldn't the killer have tried again by now?  The fact that they haven't seems to remove that mystery - maybe?

My theory on that was that she's the one who wrote the initial script. She probably planned on telling Charles about it before she made any moves with it. But, someone stole it, and she found out that it was being made into a movie. That would be the problem she left the message about, and also the reason she was anxious to talk to Charles, so she could tell him before the studio got a hold of him.  It could fit with her watching Charles, too. She could have been watching for material for her script.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I really dislike Molly Shannon. So this was a difficult episode for me to enjoy.

I can tell from the number of "likes" this got that it's not all that unpopular an opinion! I join you in it. Never got why anyone thought the "Catholic schoolgirl tripping over chairs" was funny. The only times I've liked her at all were in straight dramatic parts.

I'm not clever enough to come up with more than one or two suspects, so I'm just hanging on to this wild ride of a season and hope the payoff will have been worth it!!

I mean this seriously--it doesn't even occur to me to wonder whodunit. That's how little I care! (Or maybe the show has trained me not to think about it.)

I watch for the laughs. When an episode has enough of them for me, I like it.

As for Howard, I've never been crazy about him before this episode, but I thought he was funny as the gloried go-fer on set, relishing his immense power.

The actor playing the writer is also in Pachinko and I am very excited to see him is this show as well. He's amazing

Isn’t he?  I would never have recognized him. In Pachinko he is so suave and gorgeous (that smile!) and here he is a cute bundle of neuroses.

Lots of laughs in this epi. John McEnroe. Ha!

Best episode of the season so far and funniest too.

Add me to the "I cannot stand of Paul Rudd" club. Plus his character is so annoying.
I also do not really care about the mystery/whodunnit.

The season still suffers from the bazillions of diff characters and cameos but at least this was a good episode.

True and true, but that's why he is so perfect in this role.
Right?
His last season character was equally annoying.
Sometimes type casting is helpful.🤷🏻‍♀️

but why having such an annoying character in the first place? the only reason I can think of is that he is the killer.

That would be ironic wouldn't it? If he's the killer the show's got a lot of 'splainin' to do to make it plausible.

I guess we're split on this. I find the character annoying and not funny.
